I am an environmental science educated (older) man. I agree that Natura 2000 areas in the Netherlands nonsensical is. Nature evolves and changes all the time. But.... let us also face the dramatic loss of species in the world, that is dangerous for mankind. Mankind is too big, 10 billion is nonsensical. It cannot be sustained in the long run. Not even by technical progress. So, we will either die because of climate change and soil degradation, or we will die by hunger and overpopulation. The only solution is long term, having less babies. In the west and China and Russia this has already been ongoing for a generation. Now Africa and Latin America and some parts of Asia must follow suit. Yes also that is painful. Older people will lack care. Pension funds will be empty. But we made a mess of the 20th century believing in "progress" when we saw refineries making fossil fuels and polluting the planet. Nonsensical too. So, what is your pick? I am not against farmers. We all have a price to pay. I do object to the very right wing conspiracy tone in this documentary. There is no conspiracy to "get land" or "promote stalinism".
