I am so bothered by them that I avoid the wild Bush places here as I get plagued by them and scratch scratch all night in my sleep & become a bloody mess. - But yes we have a beautiful place here .. even in winter.

I thoroughly enjoy vicariously getting to see it through your eyes and camera lense. Thanks so much for brightening an old mans days. I will be leaving for a ride across America from the east to west coast and back in a few days, so I am not dead yet. :-)

Hello Kinga, I noticed that your channel does not reach a high number of views, even though you have excellent content, which even my mother loves, however I think your channel would have more views with a motorcycle with a more affordable price, where there is greater interest in people with lower income, you should test or rent a “Royal Enfield Himalayan 450” to see if your views improve! ... A big hug from everyone here in Brazil!
My choice of the bike is simple - I need a reliable bike that gives me comfort and performs well on-road / off-road with a lot of luggage. Royal Enfield requires constant maintenance and I doubt I could do on it 160k km without engine rebuild (as I did on my GS).

That 5 minute walk to the falls is actually more like 90 seconds!- as you found out!
A NZ five mins! ⏱We found most DOC signs over estimate walking times, which is better than underestimating I guess 😂

I have often ridden the Haast - Wanaka road and occasionally camped at Kidds Bush. It really is a beautiful area.
