I think leaving all the editing and production for after your trip was very wise. I hope it was a welcome reflection on your beautiful trip. Thank you so much for sharing it with us ❤
I think that is gonna be the way to go for me - separate business and pleasure as much as possible. It was a good experience to have, like most is! Also it's such a treat to re-live the whole trip again through editing once I get back home 😃 Thank you so much for following along, really appreciate it! 😊
So good. If editing and uploading after you get back is better for your enjoyment and mental health then that's how it should be from now on. I'm sure your fans won't love you any less 💜 Oh, I've just realised, I haven't seen the first 8 videos of the trip yet. Yay!
Thank you, I really appreciate that 🥰 It's so easy to look at what what others are doing and try to achieve the same, in so many ways. I hope you enjoy the other episodes as well, and I wish you a nice and peacful Christmas! Thank you so much for following along! 😊
@@tceulen8895 Oh, yes, obsession. I hadn't thought of that. The only thing I've ever been obsessed with is coffee but now I restrict myself to 1 mug a day 😀☕
Thank you, Gordon! It really was the perfect first-time-outside-of-europe motorcycle experience, it has left me hungry for more and I'm looking forward to bring you guys along! 😊
Thank you so much for all of your hard work editing these videos! It has been such a joy to travel along with you and see where our tire tracks have crossed. I spent 2 weeks in 2022 on the South Island and covered 4500 Km during that time. Thanks for helping me relive some of those adventures. Can’t wait to see where you go next. Safe travels!
Thank you Runa, I find myself listening intently to your evening chats, nodding my head and smiling. Glad you enjoyed my country. Looking forward to your new adventures.😃
Thank you for following along the whole way!😊 I enjoyed my self so much on this trip, SO many good experiences and an amazing start to exploring countries outside of Europe as well. Can't wait to do more of it!
Hi Runa, loved that stunning drone footage and the beautiful deserted beach scenes, beautifully flimed and edited with great background sound again. Shed a tear watching you talk at the end of each day, knowing your epic NZ journey was coming to an end.🥲Glad you have been editing your trips at home, clever decision. The video results are just magic. Can't imagine doing hours of editing sitting in a tent, tired after the day's ride. So Runa it has been an absolute joy to see NZ again through your eyes. Your should be proud of the wonderful memories your are creating. Very much looking forward to your next adventure & thanks again for sharing Runa, NZ is an unforgettable destination. All the best from Australia. 🤗😍🤩 🦘🦘🦘
Thank you for doing a great job of showing our little country to the rest of the world. I toured the South Island on a motorbike 34 years ago and you revived so many good memories. Safe travels.
You gave us a beautiful Zealand adventure. Thank you for your efforts. For a motorcycle enthusiast, adventure never ends. I am not worried that you will share your new adventures with us. I will just wait for that day. Thank you.
I have been watching your videos since your Iceland trip. Thank you for taking us on the journey with you. I think I'll have to leave the madness of motorcycling in California and follow in your tire tracks in Iceland and New Zealand, which I have never considered until now. Thank you for inspiring us to reach beyond the common experience.
Your conclusion should be I went, I travelled, I shared, I saw, I was me through all of it. Well done a wonderful journey. Thank you for taking us along for the trip.
Sad. Haere ra, e hine. Hoki mai ano. (Farewell, young woman. Come back again.) I commented on the previous video that you graced Aotearoa New Zealand with your presence. You have also graced Norway as an ambassador/representative of your country. Thank you for all of your hard work on your videos. ❤
Thank you Runa for taking us with you on your lovely trip through New Zealand. Be safe and I hope we will see you soon again on a new adventure. Be Safe.
Thank you for following along, it's been a pleasure! 😊 I hope you want to stick around for the next, first episode should be out before Christmas 😃 Also, merry christmas to you! 😊
Absolutely wonderful series. Thank you so much Runa for taking us along with you on the adventure. You managed to get to many of the most popular bike routes the country has to offer. But you do have to keep some for next time right 😁 It was a pleasure to meet you and then watch your adventure unfold and I loved watching you enjoy this great land. All the best for your future adventures, I am waiting in anticipation.
Thank you so much for the kind words! 😊 It means a lot that you enjoyed the series and came along for the adventure. You’re right-there are definitely a few routes saved for next time! 😄 Wishing you all the best, and I can’t wait to share future adventures with you.
@@OffSheGoesADV Come back soon Runa, and enjoy the hundreds of hidden back road treasures of the North Island. 😁 11 years ago a Kiwi motorcycling writer, Mike Hyde published a book called "Twisting Throttle - New Zealand. A Kiwi's guide to the top 50 motorcycle rides in the Land Of The Long White Cloud". Unfortunately I think it's out of print ATM and starting to transmute into Unobtainium. Luckily I have my own copy from back when it was first published 😎 You have actually done several of his routes list in the South Island! Christmas blessings and hygge! John
So happy you enjoyed our little slice of paradise. You have a lot of empty map for the North Island to come back and visit. Enjoyed the series and I got to revisit many places I have been.
Excellent trip! Thanks for taking us along, I hope you had a good journey home!? I hope to see you again in other episodes! Thank you so much for the beautiful places you showed us. keep safe, enjoy.
Hey Runa. I totally agree with the other comments - I can imagine editing each night would be a total PITA, and definitely affect the relaxed ‘you being you’ each night. This video series is so good for portraying the sincerity of how much you enjoyed each day. Thanks again for all your hard work. Even I felt a little emotional for the final NZ sign off (in manly way of course). Look forward to the next one, where ever that may be.
Thank you, Runa, for taking us round New Zealand! What scenery! Felt sorry for you when you got up on that frosty morning. Can't believe that you were camping for most of the time. 💪 Good luck with the next trip!
Thank you Runa. What a wonderful travelog. Absolutely captivated by your view on life and the view that you had of our wonderful little piece of PARADISE. Thank you so much for sharing. Fabulous!!! G
Thanks for the vid's. Hopefully see you back in NZ one day. Thanks for the inspiration, just bought myself a new bike since I've been watching the NZ vids. :)
Thoroughly enjoyed your South Island series. You make me feel very proud of my Country. I hope you return soon. Good luck with your future adventures. Look forward to following them.

Hi Runa, thank You very much for this wonderful NZ serie. I have been there two weeks before You on a similar 28-day-trip with an Aprilia 660. I understand really Your melancholy when You left NZ. After that I started to cricumnavigate Australia on a 90-day-trip(March - May) and now it is a pleasure to follow Your E20-S6 because it remind me strong to my own tour across North- and South Island. Thank You very much! 👃
I actually put off watching this one because I knew it was the last one. I didn't want it to end! Your last day was the same as my first day on my first trip there - The Coromandel Peninsula. So great! THANKS again for taking us along and for all the work involved in making this series. Enjoy a nice break, and we'll be here when you get back for your next adventure!
Wow, this video is breathtaking! Watching the girl ride her motorcycle through endless fields and then along the stunning coastal road is pure freedom captured on film. The way she embraces the open road and sets up camp wherever her journey takes her is so inspiring. It’s not just about the places she goes, but the sense of adventure and connection with nature that shines through. This makes me want to pack my bags, hop on a bike, and chase the horizon too. Truly a beautiful tribute to the spirit of exploration!
Hello from Colorado USA,You my dear are nothing short of breath taking,❤ Alike you're travels Searing beauty and the way you capture it is astounding/ Magical. Thank you for taking us On the best rides ever. Stay safe ride free..
Hi Runa. 6 years this next month JAN 28TH I too toured both Islands. 6 week trip in all. Shipped my bike frrom the UK and travelled 7000 MILES in all. What a stunning country. I only travelled on TARMAC mind bar a few suprises, but to go off road there like you would be a whole different experience. Glad you enjoyed it, brought back great travel memories. I met a couple who live there who were lovely and became friends. I keep in touch still via email. The lady is from the UK and her husband a KIWI. Have met his wife again since she came back to the uk on family issues. Was great to see her. They are both coming to the uk sometime so will be great to show MIKE some of the uk biking roads. I allways tthink it would be nice to go back but there is allways somewhere new to visit and tour. I too brought a pebble back with me off the beach. One lasting memory of NZ like yourself are those beautiful pies. Had them everyday from the 4 square shops. Great memories. Thankyou R. Take care and I'll look forward to your next travels. I have got NORWAY on my BUCKET LIST. Which is very long mind. BLESS YA. 👍👍👍
Yes doesn't time fly when your having fun, riding about on strange roads, camping where the bugs are bigger than back home and where the odd winds blows at a different angle . Cheers Runa and now your back home editing and scripting over views and considering making parts of this trip into a longer version for others travelling to NZ. Merry Christmas !!
It sure does! What a fantastic journey it was, thank you so much for following along! Really appreciate it 😊 I wish you a Merry Christmas, and see you soon! 😄
I think enjoying the moment and editing it afterwards makes total sense. I don't know how other vloggers like Itchy Boots does it?! A beautiful and inspiring adventure. I hope to follow in your footsteps one day!
Great series, I'm glad you enjoyed the country I call home! I myself went for a 2 week motorcycle trip around the South Island at the start of the year. Covered 10,000kms over that time, and still didn't see anywhere near as much as I wanted to, so I've been craving to go back all year. Watching you enjoy some of the places I loved to see has helped lull me over until my next trip (Feb next year! Counting down the days...) while also giving me ideas for new places I want to see. I hope you manage to get back over here to see the rest, but even if you do, I suspect you will never see enough! Little PS, the 'no domestic rubbish' thing really wouldn't be an issue for the kind of rubbish we deal with as MC campers. Those signs/fines are targeting households that try to put their weekly rubbish in council bins instead of paying for collection or disposal. I always put my little bag of camp rubbish in one of them every few days, and never had any issues. It's certainly far better than littering, and any cop or council would agree.
What a pleasure my ray of fucking sunshine it has been to follow you around my country. I do write this with a tear in my eye Thank you so much Runa. See you on your next adventure 😊
Yeah, ma'am : Without ANY doubt I could hear the waves and the grasshoppers at all time(s) while time-travel-cruising NZ with you ✌️🤪. Just a FAT " THANKS RUNA " from Kiruna ✊️
New Zealand has been such a brilliant series, loved every episode Runa👌I'm sad its over but all good things come to an end! I'm sure it will live long in your memory, it really is one of the most beautiful places in the world👌I've had my best ever year on my e bike since I bought it 6 and a half years ago, 6400 miles (10300km) so far with 3 weeks remaining so I'm really happy with that at 66 years old! As I get older I keep going further, enjoy it while you can is my motto😉I have also climbed 412,000 ft this year (125,577 metres), also my best ever👍I hope you have a wonderful Christmas and a very adventurous 2025 Runa😊
Thank you very much, Daniel! 😊 It was a pleasure sharing, and I'm so glad you guys are tagging along! I did have a good trip home, and I will soon start to edit the next little adventure I was on this summer 😃 Merry christmas to you!
Great series Runa, I totally enjoyed it. Just got in from an hour of shovelling snow and watched your last video while having a nice hot coffee. Wishing you all the best, good health and stay safe.🥰
Thank you for a wonderful series. You have a wonderful ability to capture the spirit of where you are travelling and pace the story you tell so well. Thank you for visiting Aotearoa and showcasing it beautifully. I hope you come back soon but in the meantime I am looking forward to the next series!
Thanks for sharing these wonderful moments with us. Fabulous filming, great storytelling and…we’re not jealous at all… not at all 😂 Makes the PMS a little easier ( Parked Motorcycle Syndrome ) in these dark, Norwegian winter nights…😊
I shall really miss your rides in NZ Runa. It's been such a relaxing time following along with you. Your personality exudes such a calming vibe that will be hard to follow. I shall also miss NZ , what a great country.
Every emotion is normal, I’ve been travelling and working for 20 years on the road and I still get all they same feelings. Ever in Australia be great to ride with you
Nice! Those coastal roads looked awesome. I enjoyed your sensitivity for the great landscapes you ride through and esp how you eloquently express it all - in english! 👌👍From the map it seems there are plenty more places in New Zealand to explore...😊
Thank you, Jeremy! 😊 Really appreciate how you've followed along on all of it, you guys are "Simply the beeeeest 🎶"! Hope you're having a nice December so far! 😊
Enjoyed the Videos , I was twice in News Zealand, 5 months in total, and I havn't seen all, still plan to visit it again. Thanks for your tiime you spend for us.
I have a feeling we could spend years traveling this country and still discover new gems! I already look forward to come back one day 😊 Thank you for following along, and Merry Christmas to you!
I enjoyed your summary at the end. So many spectacular views. Also glad you made the Coromandel part, but you missed the eastern side. Its a great bit of road and the whole Coro loop is a nice day ride from auckland. We'll save you some pies for your next visit! Take care Runa.
Thank you! 😃 It really was an amazing trip, and you’re absolutely right- I'm already getting excited about what’s next! Some planning is definitely in the works, it's part of the fun as well 🤩
Awesome to see my country through the eyes someone else. You have explored so much. Done roads that I have yet to do, but probably missed a few good ones as well. But you can't fit it all in! Imagine a kiwi going to Europe. there is so much history, and its huge. And video editing.. You are doing a great job. I hate doing it. Good luck with future travels.
Excellent final on an already outstanding journey. Enjoyed every episode, in fact started looking forward to each installment 🙂 IMHO the delayed editing is totally fine, it's much better also for me as a viewer if you enjoy your trip to 110% and postpone the editing until later when you are home. Anyway, looking forward to you next adventures. Thanks for taking us along. 🙂
Thank you, Ekki! 😊 It’ nice to hear you enjoyed the journey and looked forward to each episode-that truly means a lot. I’m glad you understand about the editing; it really lets us enjoy the trip fully and share it better later. Excited to have you along for the next adventures! Have a great day over there!
Thanks Runa. Very enjoyable indeed. I start my NZ trip in February and you have given me so many ideas to make the trip even better. Looking forward to the next adventure.
Thank you, glad you liked it! And how exciting about your trip, if you need more routes to chose from I can highly recommend the Adventure Guide NZ app - it gave me so many new ideas of places to go and things to see. I wish you a merry christmas, and a great trip when the time comes! 😊
Absolutely enjoyed these videos you had one hell of a adventure u have become one of my favorite u tube bike channels till the next adventure enjoy and ride safe 🙏👍🥰
Hi Runa 👋, Thank you so much for this fabulous 👌 month of videos in new Zealand, It was amazing, Definitely some of the best scenery on the planet, I felt like you didn't really want to leave, That's a naughty t-shirt you have, Do your parents tell you off 😅, once again thank you for all the entertainment you have given me. I hope you are keeping well, I look forward to what ever your next video brings. Best wishes from Roy in England 😊.
*Kia ora (hello)Runa, Thanks for showing off Aotearoa New Zealand to the world in your videos 🙂One month as you know is never long enough to see all of NZ, as there is much more to see and experience. Three to four months is what should be set aside to also pop over to the little islands that are part of NZ are worth seeing too. So Runa, please come back again, as you have showed the people around the world what a beautiful place Aotearoa NZ is to visit, except for those pesky sandflies lol. Kia kaha (stay strong) and keep well and come on back down to this little paradise on planet Earth any time as you will always be welcomed back here.🙂NZ*

That's interesting about the trash. I would be inhibited from using any trash can. It's something to think about when you put it in perspective: "A whole month of solo camping across New Zealand." What a cool epic thing you will be able to say the rest of your life that you did, a checkmark on the bucket list.
Runa, your awesome! I really enjoy the reflective thoughts you give us throughout your travels. I experience the same, last spring did Route 66 ride here in the States. Last day just wanted to e home, then reflection sets in…wish I had taken more time ¬ press so much each day to make mileage!!! Safe travels, be safe…remember we all love your travels and allowing us to share time with you❤

Great season, congratulations Runa, and thanks for sharing with us.
What a pleasure my ray of fucking sunshine it has been to follow you around my country.
I do write this with a tear in my eye
Thank you so much Runa.
See you on your next adventure 😊
Thanks Runa, glad it worked out really well for you, that was a fantastic production !😊❤
Runa, I hope you had a good journey home!? I hope to see you again in other episodes! Thank you so much for the beautiful places you showed us.🤩❤

Thank you for a wonderful series. You have a wonderful ability to capture the spirit of where you are travelling and pace the story you tell so well. Thank you for visiting Aotearoa and showcasing it beautifully. I hope you come back soon but in the meantime I am looking forward to the next series!
So fun to watch all these episodes on this trip this country is special that’s for sure 🇳🇿😀👌
Thanks for sharing these wonderful moments with us. Fabulous filming, great storytelling and…we’re not jealous at all… not at all 😂 Makes the PMS a little easier ( Parked Motorcycle Syndrome ) in these dark, Norwegian winter nights…😊
Merci de nous avoir fait vibrer pendant ce magnifique voyage.
I shall really miss your rides in NZ Runa. It's been such a relaxing time following along with you. Your personality exudes such a calming vibe that will be hard to follow. I shall also miss NZ , what a great country.
Awesome it’s easy to find peace ✌️ in Aotearoa from Gisborne 1st to see the sunrise and cruise until you see the sunset happy New Year
Every emotion is normal, I’ve been travelling and working for 20 years on the road and I still get all they same feelings. Ever in Australia be great to ride with you
Very fun trip. Have a good rest and see you on your channel.👍💪🏍😎 Kiitos Runa!🌹🌼🌷

I enjoyed your summary at the end. So many spectacular views. Also glad you made the Coromandel part, but you missed the eastern side. Its a great bit of road and the whole Coro loop is a nice day ride from auckland.
We'll save you some pies for your next visit!
Take care Runa.
Thanks for sharing your adventures

We missed the beautiful videos of Norway and its picturesque nature
That was an amazing trip. Thank you for the empty box on my bucket list.
I really enjoyed following along, I learned so much about New Zealand.
Thank you, I look forward to the next trip with you
👊💟
Another beautiful video we so enjoy watching your adventures.can’t wait for your next video
Great trip and videos! Your editing skills have really expanded since you started, and love your music choices...
Excellent final on an already outstanding journey. Enjoyed every episode, in fact started looking forward to each installment 🙂
IMHO the delayed editing is totally fine, it's much better also for me as a viewer if you enjoy your trip to 110% and postpone the editing until later when you are home.
Thank you !!!!

My wife and I follow you every episode and we looking forvard to follow your coming advetures.
You are a great ambasador for Husqvarna.
We wish you a merry cristmas.
Great series!! Looking forward to the next one.
That's interesting about the trash. I would be inhibited from using any trash can. It's something to think about when you put it in perspective: "A whole month of solo camping across New Zealand." What a cool epic thing you will be able to say the rest of your life that you did, a checkmark on the bucket list.
Loved watching your nz series! Was a pleasure seeing you enjoy my homeland ❤🇳🇿 ps yes, we have the best pies!
Thanks for sharing your trip with us.
Runa, your awesome! I really enjoy the reflective thoughts you give us throughout your travels. I experience the same, last spring did Route 66 ride here in the States. Last day just wanted to e home, then reflection sets in…wish I had taken more time ¬ press so much each day to make mileage!!!
Safe travels, be safe…remember we all love your travels and allowing us to share time with you❤
I do love your T-shirt! Awesome video!
Enjoyable series of videos, thanks for sharing and your hard work 😎👍
Awesome series, yes so much more to see here in NZ. At the 7min mark there's a distinctive "sound" 😂..... wifey reckoned it was what I was thinking it was too 😅.
