You all have such a great way of interacting with other members of your family. I sure hope you stick it out together forever. Drake is such a great guy and seems to know how to have fun . Tara is wonderful with him and then her and her Daddy. To see how they have fun together warms my heart. Keith is such a fun loving guy who does his share to hold them together as well. On a different topic, is Tara related to the Landry family on The Swamp People? Just curious.
G'day all from Melbourne Australia. Came here because of Peter. Staying because of you guys. Enjoying your content very much. So nice to see good-hearted, jovial, down to Earth people living life and doing what they love as much as they can. This is living.

Those Crappie fillets look amazing. Love your knife skills cleaning them. Over here in South Georgia we do it the hard way. Descale, dehead and clean guts. Then deep fry, with hushpuppies , grits and sweet.potatoe fries. Always fighting the bones. We are going to try filleting next batch. Love crappie and our farm.ponds.are.loaded with them. It is very common for my grandsons to go out in the john boat and bring in a mess of 100 or so. They have an old rickety trailer behind a four wheeler and haul that old boat all over the dirt roads down here fishing the ponds. All the landowners know them and welcome them. Teenagers living the good life like Drake does. :)
Hey, have to disagree with your comment about heading back to reality. The boat is realiity and work is playin the game. Dont get them confused cuz ya living the dream on the houseboat! Loved it.
I love your show I'm 72 in the wheelchair with Ms I watch your show every day it makes me feel good when you go fishing and all the cooking she does you guys are fantastic and love you son he's cool
Hi from south Mississippi! We found y'all through Peter's video. My husband and I love to watch all of you enjoy that beautiful Cajun country. Andy and Tara's dad are my favorites but we get a kick out of all of you. It's my husband's dream to live that life but im not sure i could handle it during the summer months. Aren't the skeeters ferocious?? Take care 😊
I’m texting from Central Illinois. You’ve no idea how I love this channel and I share and tell others about y’all. Hope those storms settle down and everyone stays safe and sound ❤ jojo
Awesome aerial footage from drone and I can't. believe that osprey didn't attack the drone. Nothing like fried frog legs and fish or shrimp with white beans and rice. That's a CAJUN GOURMET DINNER and throw in a few cold ones.......I MEAN I bet it will be getting cooler soon making it even more enjoyable at the camp. CHEERS
I'm pretty sure that osprey was debating on whether or not to take out the drone. I felt like I was ready to do some evasive maneuvers if tried. We definitely eat good at the camp. Always better when you cook what you catch. Always appreciate your comments. Thanks buddy! 🐊
Love watching the videos I was raised in Lafayette but spent most of my time in Henderson fishing, watching the videos remind me of the good old days, my wife and I will be there at the end of the month the first time in 20 years and I let my family know I will be coming off the plane with a fork in my pocket thanks for the videos
My mother loved the small cats. She said they were better eating. I have only had swamp chicken (frog legs) once in my life. I am originally from south Georgia, but moved to Cenla 7 years ago.
@@datlouisianalife I started calling it swamp chicken after that one time I ate it because that was the best I could describe the taste (like chicken with a mild swampy taste). I didn't hate it, it was just my only opportunity iirc. It was on a little buffet in a little 'hole-in-the-wall' place out in the middle of nowhere country around Dawson Ga. Those type places usually have some of the best food. Edit: If I had to choose though, I think I like fried gator tail better.
@@SmyrnaApostolicMission I love fried gator. I hoping to acquire a few alligator tags for next season. We gonna have fried gator and frog legs. I just made myself hungry! 🤣
You all are living the dream!! Its really beautiful & peaceful.Don't the fish love you? Catfish are great eating! Do you ever go crabbing,or crawfishing?😮
Hey guys...we've watched all your videos twice at least and love them. Im from a community just north of the Tx/la line and the bowfin was always called a Grinnel. Oh and by the way we definitely called our Crappie, Crappie. Great job though guys !! Keep the videos coming.
Good evening and many greetings, into the warm. Very nice video, fortunately the alligators are not as crazy as crocodiles in Africa, Asia and Australin. I remember well, I was over 30 years ago in Mobile Alabama, only a few days, but in the bay of Mobile, there swam really big and impressive alligators and to swim with them, determine not a good idea. You live in such a great nature, enjoy it, because rgendwann, you think about it and will realize when you are so close to 70, actually, life is much too short, if you are healthy. Greetings from Frankfurt
Hey buddy, good to hear from you. Good thing the gators we have around us are not aggressive like crocodiles. We definitely wouldn't be swimming in the water if that was the case. Time passes by fast, so we do our best to spend that time with the people we love. It doesn't always work out that way, but we do pretty good spending quality time with family and friends. Take care on your end! 🐊
Not different from what we have. Spending time with friends is something beautiful. I do not like idiots around me, unfortunately, there are too many, we can not change. Have a nice day, all of you. @@datlouisianalife 🤠

Really glad you enjoyed the video. We do play a lot. You know what they say about all work and no play🤣! We definitely play more than we work. I bought the boat and motor second hand for 16 grand. I was actually looking to buy a new rig but it was double the price. I'm extremely happy with the boat. Thanks for the positive feedback! 🐊
