Cancelling Out Unwanted Tones In Hair

Colorists don't cancel out tones in your hair, we Neutralize them. When we say "cancels out", it is too easy to misunderstand whats actually happening. Complimentary colors neutralize unwanted tones by making a new color. This will always appear darker.

I had about a level 7 permanent red before putting permanent level 3 brown dye over it and the red still shines through very visibly. How do I get rid of the red tone please help

Hello! I have used an ash 6 with 10volume and my hair is like a dark silver/blue? How can I was it out for the ash to come forward or it it screwed and will stay a pale silver??

I had a balayage and most of my hair was blonde but i wanted dark hair so i applied a black color depositor not a box dye but now my hair has like a greenish tone, it’s dark but definitely has the green tone and im not sure how to fix it 😭
