The one ask I personally have of JJ is, don't be stubborn! Need for him to be able to make adjustments when things aren't working. Felt like Ham was stuck on doing things a certain way, even when it was clearly hurting the team. That all said, it doesn't matter what JJ does as a coach if the roster is weak. The next 1-2 months is SO important. They have got to add more shooting and big men. If not it's hard to imagine the Lakers can be significantly better than they were last year.
The last few Lakers coaches showed so little ability to adapt to what the opposing team was doing on the court and Ham was one of the worst. There are so many people who have endorsed JJ in such a strong way and Coach K is such a great coach (and I hate Duke). Give JJ a chance for at least two years.
