Badass setup, you got me thinking of getting canyon pounder. My EC2 Omen comes Thursday....I cant wait!

Love my new omen with the EC2, I had last years omen with the e2 and the year before I had a xpedite, big improvement from the xpedite, the shim system was necessary for me to tune, I also got a left tear so I had to shim left, previous years pse's came from the factory shimmed left and tuned instantly for me. I also have a fortis 30 with the EC2 cam, this bow is also amazing and only a 6 fps slower than the omen but is 2 pounds heavier so not a fair comparison. IMO pse is at the top of the game
Tie in a prusik knot on the hamskea cord, so user friendly. Average Jack has a great video on how to tie in the prusik
Just set mine up... I suppose I have the absolute slowest Omen in all of north America. Came out of the box super light at 62lbs.. added some twists to get to 68lbs. 29inches/68lbs 450 grain arrow 273.. Super disapointed
Oh man, you gotta get your own press, bow holder, etc. Makes bow life super convenient.
I know! Definitely plan on it. I just love these guys, haha. Been going there for the past 10 years.
With the lack of good shops around me Im gonna have to start gettin all the tools to work on bows.
@@DEX-un7tx yea, equipment isn’t cheap but will only get more expensive later. Plus u will learn how to setup etc etc. Build your arrows. And at your convenience

My fortis 33 finally came in a week ago, dropped off all my accessories for it, dude at the shop said he’ll call me in a couple of days. Still waiting to get the call to come down and get it tuned.🤨 I know hunting season is coming up but man it’s taking for ever. I just want to shoot my booooooow 😂

I wouldn't fret too much, these new PSE's dont take long to tune, and once its set it holds very well. After I initially tuned my 2022 EVO XF I have not had to touch the strings, shim, or move a pin.
So, if you only move one cam over to get a bullet hole, what does that do to all your levels? If your string isn't level with the riser, do you level your sight with the string or the riser?
So, we actually moved both cams over. The first move got us almost there. Then we moved the bottom and made a rest adjustment.
I would way.... rather have that dude at a pro shop, than buy my own press.

Whats wrong with the fortis?
Nothing. Fortis is a great bow. On the Fortis I had the S2 cam though, which is a bit humpy. The Omen with the EC2 felt great compared. And with the shorter brace height of the Omen, you don't lose too much speed in comparison to the Fortis with the S2. Omen felt better.
