Fletching comment #101: I'm still seeing 3 vs 4 fletch benefits based on application. My tightest "long range" field point groups have always been 4 small profile vanes - AAE 23's with straight, left offset. 65lb BT Realm at 28.5" and have 2" Black Gold sight housing clearance beyond 115 yards. However, my swept-back Exodus broadheads (fixed blades) are point on out to 80 yards with 3 - straight offset AAE Stealths and sights clearance less that than 100 yards because the cock vane sits vertical. (no, I don't shoot animals that far, but will if needing a follow-up). People just assume you just keep the same fletch size when adding on the additional one to drag.

That's impressive! That while bowtech system is very legit! I've been toying with getting a target setup for winter league and for fun. I have been shooting a PSE evoke 35 which has been great, and I just picked up my first mathews, a new V3X such I'm in love with, but I sold my pse to my son such I was planning to setup for target. So maybe the bowtech for a target setup. I think I'm looking at the longer ATA though. I do like those longer setups. That evoke 35 holds like a dream! Can only imaging closer to 40. Things are looking good Tim! I wasn't sure how you would do on your own, but so far I'm liking it. Interested to see where this goes!

Very nice idea. I run Gold Tip Hunter XT 340's. Definitely not cheap, but also not top tier. Any time you go over $20 an arrow, excluding the broadhead, that spending amount is out of my league. I do practice most of the off season with cheaper arrows and then switch to the more expensive ones a month or so before opening day. Help reduce damaging them.
