Young was very precise too but here the gap is widest: he was MUCH faster than Purdy. Purdy for MVP but he's not the best of those two guys.
Calm down kid Brock Purdy is no where near as good as any of them, and he will never be.
@@CJGJprodsat least hes better than any eagles qb in history
I appreciate this. Shows how talented that baby faced assassin is.😮💨
He managed the s*** out of these games boy.
People don't understand the timing and chemistry you need to have with your receivers in order for some of these passes to work and also the line needs to block properly. There's so many things that go into a successful pass play
Man his heart and ability to escape the pocket is next level. Heart is something you can’t teach and that I will take any day.
As of right now on "pro football reference," the 49ers are 32nd in pass attempts while 5th in yards per attempt.
No sir, Brock’s leading the league in yards per attempt.
"He's Bambi, with fangs." - Rich Eisen
Purdy is building himself an impressive career highlight reel.
"These are routine plays that every QB makes on every play." - Nick Wright Probably
Nick Wright knows Purdy is a beast. But he knocking him on purpose. I don't like him but damn sure watch him every week to see what excuse he has.
As a niner fan watching this I gotta say. I’m left speechless.
Yeah he’s MVP BABY
It's honestly not even close
So much better than Jimmy Garbaggio lmao. I will never forget Jimmy overthrow in the SB and smiling after Brock got injured. Robbed 50 million from raiders and got benched for a 4th rounder... my hatred for him is insane. Wouldve won a SB with any other Aqb
I am glad that I am not the only one who noticed that Jimmy G was big smiling and laughing it up after Purdy and Johnson went down. I am glad they got rid of him. At best, he was slightly above average for one year, but most of the time was average with a top 3 defense in every year. This year, Niner's defense wasn't nearly as spectacular as they have been in the past, but still in the top 10, I believe.
if this is what it means to be a system QB then i’ll GLADLY take it 🤣
Brock throws the best spirals in the league
It’s the prettiest ball. Almost brings a tear to my eye
"System Quarterback" these nuts
I like the niners system qb lol looks purdy good to me
Garoppolo: 3-5 "oh crap" throws per game
Purdy: 3-5 "holy crap" throws per game
What system is that!!! ???? Holy shitz nizzle
The roster is great, and he makes guys around him reach their potential
0:27 shows you everything you need to know. Snaps the ball and keeps his eyes downfield, keeps his cool, knows the defender is coming, makes a move and keeps the drive alive. Purdy is kinda fast too
Glazing is unbelievable
@@CJGJprods Glazing but you've got Jalen as your pfp you're hilarious I love looking through the comments seeing your reply on everything 💀
The casual accuracy on this kid. He makes tough plays look routine and impossible plays look merely hard.
5min 9sec of checkdowns
"Check down? Oh yeah just check down there in the enzone, where I beamed that 40 yard heater into Aiyuk's chest"
-Brock Purdy, probably
After watching captain check down, aka Alex Smith, and Jimmy G for so long, it's so nice to see a Niner QB throw the ball deep past the check down. Love it. Hopefully Brock doesn't get hurt again and he Niners finally finish the job and get #6
Its just a very flexible system 😂
He's winning MVP this year.
Mr. MVP
Accuracy, anticipation, read progression, pocket awareness, and scrambling. Great system.
The greatest “game manager” of all time! 🤣
Damn that system really puts those footballs in the perfect spots
All of those pinpoint, tight window, anticipatory throws were a result of Shanahans system and the talent on offense. He's a system QB.
/s
I hate doing shit like this but that is some Montana-like accuracy. Dude is just slinging the ball across the field like he's at some park playing a pick-up game.
The league loved him on his linsanity run, now that they see its not a fluke and he really is this good they downplay this man at ever turn.
yup cuz hes resetting the narrative that low drafted players are untalented. They should've learned after brady, but the league still views high draft position as the most important thing.
@levislayter the media rode these qbs nuts in order this season mvps as follows. Mahomes,Tua,hurts stroud, dak, and now Lamar. Sheesh this kid gets nothing but hate.
System QB my ass. The kid is very special. This superb video is the perfect answer to the doubters.
“game manager” more like he manages to make perfectly placed deep throws in stride. smh
just so glad we graduated from mediocrity at the QB spot .. team has a real shot now
True underdog story and he definitely deserves to be in the MVP conversation if not the MVP
I say 30 out of the 32 teams would trade for this system QB.
"That's my game manager" 😭
🥹🥹🥹🤣🤣🤣😩😩
Purdy for MVP
Literally the second and third play are amazing qb plays avoiding pressure and making amazing throws to find a guy
He’s had maybe 500 lucky plays- anyone could do that.
Except you.
@@carlosjr8649 I used to be amazing at Nerf football- I should have been drafted.
@@HerbSterbermerbler you can be recruited to the especial Olympics.
@@carlosjr8649 I think maybe you missed the point- I’m a big Brock Purdy fan and I am making fun of the people who keep ignoring his accomplishments or don’t give him credit for what he does.
My favorite part of the "system quarterback" narrative around Purdy is that it immediately outs all the people that don't understand football and as such their takes can be immediately disqualified. If you want to see what an actual system QB looks like, all you would have to do is watch Jimmy G highlights. If you can't see the stark difference between the two of them and the 49ers offense in general, you're either legally blind or willfully ignorant.
I LOVE at 1:00 how he throws a 20 yd DIME while backpedalling and again at 1:10
He is Johnny Football for the pros. Seems like he just throws it up and a receiver magically finds a way to catch it.
A. Amazing video title.
B. Amazing supercut.
C. I fucking love our QB. I’m so excited for the future. Can’t wait to see all the bandwagoners hop on board and order his jersey. 😂
Im a bucs fan and I bandwagoned on purdy at just about before halftime in our game last year. Not many people I know watched that game so they thought I was crazy when I said he was gonna be a surprising qb. I didnt expect this mvp play though
I am so thrilled watching this kid that I get anxious waiting for him to fall. I was never a Brady fan. His attitude always rubbed me wrong. Purdy is on another level.
Purdy over Brady is what you’re saying?
I never said that. I am not a Brady fan is what I said. His attitude was horrible. Purdy seems to have a much better outlook. @@maxton5O
Dude is gonna be an all timer. That’s my mvp system qb
The throw at 3:19!!! Not even a full motion and dimed it!
I’m watching Purdy throw 4 ints against ravens 🤣🤣😂😂 Cush schedule until now and when he plays a real defense dude throw 4 INTs 🤣🤣😂😂
He looked like crap against the browns defense too
He’s system QB’ing the fuck out of these touchdowns
C’mon, if there wasn’t an offensive line or any other players on the field except for him and the defense he’s playing against, I bet he wouldn’t be able to throw touchdown passes. If his teammates all turned around after hiking it and became defenders along with the defense they were playing, Purdy wouldn’t have any shot at MVP.. Total system QB! maC Newton used to hike it to himself, scramble, throw it to himself, catch it, juke like 50 guys and score two touchdowns at once. You don’t allow a tarantula to live on your head unless you’re the greatest QB of all time like maC is, I mean Cam
49er Family, lets rejoice, we waited a long damn time to find our QB
Purdys timing, accuracy, and footwork is nuts
Man that TD throw to BA against Seattle was a thing of beauty.
As a 49ers fan I am proud to see how relevant Mr. irrelevant has become.
Im soaking in every moment we have with this guy.
