- There hasn't been many changes for the 2024 Chevy Colorado since it just had a refresh. It is another one of the those small trucks that can still get the job done
The exterior is very nice to look at. We have some really nice day time running LED's and the front end look pretty aggressive as well It looks ready for the open road or the off-road. The wheels that are on this look nice but I would almost prefer the ones that come standard as it fits the rugged look that I like.
The interior was a really nice place to spend time. It reminds me a lot of the GMC At4X we tested a few weeks ago. It has a lot of nice features but not many that came standard I could not get over the fact that the all digital gauge cluster seemed to be cut off I felt like that should be something that comes standard

Quick correction this is in fact a 23 Colorado and the gauge cluster should be bigger for the 24 models! Unfortunately I can’t correct me saying 24 in the intro!
I was wondering how well this would do on Québec potholes, I guess it did relatively well on the bumpy roads towards the end there
Thanks for this!
It did to pretty well I never found myself noticing it all that much when I drove over a massive pot hole
Watched the entire video (technically well produced, BTW). I heard absolutely nothing regarding the title of this video, though...so it didn't talk about what I was most interested in.
Also...even though you did correct the fact this was a 23 Colorado, and not a 24 model, you didn't correct the video's title.
(Minor nitpick...too much time spent on Chevrolet not including certain features as standard...must have heard that at least 4 times).
i've got a 2020 colorado z71 - i LOVE it. however, i'm NOT a fan of the inside redesign of this one - they've taken away some small storage space i use on a daily basis (in the truck i have now) and those "jet engine" air vents are hideous. and what is with the screen in front of steering wheel??? it's now smaller than the one i currently have! as far as the features, it seems like they're breaking them up into clusters more to get people to PAY MORE - and i'm not ok with that. i've only got 17,000 miles on mine right now; so, i'm fine with keeping it for a long time. i was hoping to get one next year; but, i wouldn't buy a colorado now as long as the interior stays the way it is.
Another correction.... all models above the WT get the 310 hp and 430 torque. Your numbers are still 2023.
i work at a Chevrolet dealership and im waiting until we get a used 23/24 colorado with like 20-30k miles to buy it
Sounds like a good idea!
They still sell for 40k
I thought the 24 models were going to get a full intermediate cluster
I believe so
Yes! My fault I for some reason thought this was a 2024 I changed the title to reflect that! Apologies models years get confusing right at the end of the year!
They are. They dropped the 8" display for the 11" for 24. Also, 2024s no longer have the "Turbo Plus" engine, 310hp and 391lbft @2000rpm. They now have the "Turbo Max". 310hp and 430lbft torque @ 3000rpm. The Turbo Max is standard now on trail boss and Z71 like the ZR2s.
Maybe the Canadian market isn't getting the U.S. 2024 upgrades.
Check Chevrolet build and price site to verify 2024 changes.
This is the exact reason why I was going to wait for the 24 model instead of the 23. Another + is that they made all of the engines (aside from the wt) 430lbft torque.
Currently have a 24 Z71 on order. I never buy 1st year for new gen. 2 pleasant surprises for waiting, 11" driver display and standard "Turbo Max". Now I just need to get it.
You talk about the price and stuff that you shouldn't have to pay extra.
BUT YOU NEVER TOLD US THE PRICE????!
This is not a base model!!!!!!
Don't waste $ buy the zr2
If that's what fits ones personal needs and you what to spend the extra money for the ZR2.
What ever plows your garden.
Buying a ZR2 and never going off-roading is the biggest waste of money.
I think so too. It is a really sharp looking truck though.@endlessnameless3996
@endlessnameless3996 I took this thing out several times. Rocks mud sand with less then 500 miles
@@kurtsandoval7714 That's fine, but most people don't go off-roading.
