Joan. The more I see and listen to your music the more I consider you to be a one off genius. Your music , played by those wonderful students is epic. Gordon Jenkins was my favourite musician and arranger but when Gordon passed away, you took,his place. Please continue to find those talented students and singers.
Stuff Smith was my grandmother’s brother. He had a distinct style that is easily recognizable. I loved hearing this tribute. Thank you Elia you are helping to keep his music alive!

Jada has become a solid jazz-standerd. Imo perfected by the Count Basie band which became almost their signature number. Lovely rendition here by Èlia, sounding very happy, and balanced by Scott’s lyrical style. Toodeloo’s & Cheers!

Very well played by all! Listening to this piece brings back memories of playing it in a big band. I was lead tenor, and I had a short solo. Not nearly as good as Scott's though.
