Wouldn't one think that the clutch's from the mynock would have decimated all the power cables over millions of years?🤔 ....Their like cockroaches you know!🤭
9:58 The look on the guy's face when he sees the helmet and backs away seems to refer to Indy's reaction to the cobra that rears up at him in the Well of Souls in Raiders.
Thank you so much, Phil!!! All the pictures, like hieroglyphs on the walls of the cave, were neat to see. I noticed most of them but I probably couldn't point them all out. There were a lot, and those few subtle ones I might have missed.
Amazing, loads of Easter eggs, liked the line ‘Tear this camp apart till you found those artefacts...’ big ole Easter egg from Star Wars A New Hope. Loved this so much think you should write a book with concept art and movie stills, let me know if this will happen, I have a bookshelf in need of an interesting tome!
Wouldn’t that be cool! Unfortunately it would probably seem to “the lawyers” that we’d be profiting from a fan film which is a big no, no. Hopefully our documentary series on the making of the film will help.
I might be wrong, but the blue costumed guys are a direct reference to all the similarly garbed bad guys from the first and the third Indiana Jones movies, as well as the truck chase scene.
@@StarWarsOriginsFilm Unfortunately I'm fresh out of suitcases and cash but I loved your movie. I never thought about connecting this Star Destroyer to Thrawn when he was taken away by the space whales, octopi, or whatever they were at the end of Rebels, it's definitely infinitely better than the sequels.
In all of the glyphs (which we obviously cannot see all of them) did you go full out and remake the image from Raiders of the easter egg of Star Wars in the glyphs in the walls of the Well of the Souls? Would be an epic easter egg inside an easter egg moment
A sequel? Set in the Star Trek years? Stormtrooper: “why are these idiots fighting in their pajamas?” Trekkie: “whats with these idiots fighting in shiny armor?” . . . 🤷♂️
“You missed”... you who? Beside the entertaining story, this short IS made for the sake of showing “easter eggs”. Missing them means you didn’t paid attention to the movie.
i got a few questions my friend 1. how the heck did a star destroyer end up on earth. Why is vader helmet in a victory class star destroyer when in rise of skywalker rey and kylo destroy the helmet on a resurgence class star destoyer. 3. does this film tells us that all humankind came from a galaxy far far away, when in expanded lore its the other away around. 4. why are luke lightsaber on earth when rey buried it in the lars homestand and any rebel/ristence artifacts on a IMPERIAL star destroyer.
1. Sheevy babes had these bad boys all over the place. (Actually there’s a subtle Easter egg in the film that suggests this SD is actually Thrawn’s) 2. This was made before TROS… sorry! 3. It doesn’t say either way, just the origins of George Lucas and Star Wars/Indiana Jones as we know it.
@@StarWarsOriginsFilm thanks man, but how long was that star destroyer buried in the sand, because i can belive that this ship is still working after all that time.
I know it takes time and money to write produce and film, a small film short of outstanding quality, storyline and acting. You could use Kickstarter for a continuation I know you would get fans wanting to donate, I know I would donate. Just a thought I would put out there, ask the community would they be willing to donate.
This took three years! We’d have to raise a few million to make another so it’s just not feasible. We’d love to but we’re working on some other stuff... 😉
I don't get it ... long star wars fan since 1977 , and not once is earth mentioned.. Now we're supposed to believe this is all created here on earth during ww2 .. Help me understand 🙏
Did we miss any that you've spotted? Let us know!
Why did Jamie Costa delete all of his social media accounts? I just tried to find him and his Twitter and Instagram are gone now.. :(
@@SylasG He’s taking a break from social media at the moment.

So much detail.... well done Phil enjoyed that
I sincerely appreciate all the hard work that went into making this short film for us fans! You are a legend sir! Masterpiece, bravo 👏🏽
You’re welcome!

I didn't know there were that many easter eggs, a very well done film. Im waiting for more of this kind of films
What about the way the lightsabre jumped into her hand - she used the force to get it!
I was certainly very curious about that. Maybe a sequel to Star Wars Origins could explain it.
The bad guys had the ability to unleash a hail of gunfire and consistently not hit anything important, just like the typical Stormtroopers.
Yep. See what we did there. 😉
Loved Origins you are Cannon in my book.
🙌🙌
Long, have I waited...
Dr. Bloomberger, go you must 🤩
Wow, incredible amount of detail! I love it even more now.
🤓🤓🙌
9:24 Not sure if it's deliberate or not, but for me the cracks reminded me of Ice Age. :D
This was amazingly Fantastic
Thanks for taking the time to do this - your film is brilliant and I look forward to what you'll do next.
Thanks David!
Thank you so much, Phil!!!

Oh YEEEEEESSSSS LET'S GO!!!!!!
You forgot to mention the "Raiders snakepit scene" right before the Vader Mask unveil. I assume you were trying to remake the famous cobra encounter
Yep, well spotted!

@@StarWarsOriginsFilm that would be a shame., the content you are producing is amazing, makes a fan like me so happy. Can’t wait for a blooper reel 😂
Not many idols left in this world. But you're one of mine
I sincerely hope you are making a sequel to this film.
Unfortunately not... this took three years and a lot of personal cost so unless Disney comes knocking we may have to leave it here... 😉
Just so you know, you are one of the best fan filmmakers of the Star Wars genre out there!
@@garybrown3361 ☺️☺️

It would have been cool to use old republic artifacts and starship to really emphasize the origins part
Loved it :-) What happens next???
Just finish watching it , so earth is supposed to located in the unknown regions ?
Maybe.... who knows... it was all a “long time ago”
I didn't miss all Easter eggs. Nicely done though.
When are we gonna see the story continue or will we?
Unfortunately unless someone has some huge suitcases of cash lying about, there won't be a follow up.

Was the final battle of the Empire set on Earth in the past?
I should have watched this first
I think you see too many eggs where there are none.
Easter eggs are small hints, not copies of something.
That’s symantics. Call it what you will. They’re references/nods/homages all covered by “Easter eggs”. Thanks for watching.

It’s the origins of George Lucas not the Skywalker saga… who was born in 1944 🤓
great use of holocrons, etc! forget about the sequels, they equal to trash!
