    I really like how you explained everything and made it pretty straightforward. I'm going to setup my new house with this and a few other smart home items. Thank you!

      Any time, This is what I wanted to do on RUclips, Just did't get the views and likes.(Kinda Sucks as I really like smart home stuff) Did one computer as a test and the video kinda blew up. It seems like there are a lot of people doing smart home stuff on youtube (seems saturated) I feel like they do not do it in a real world setting. Just laying it out on a table and saying this wire goes here that wire goes there. In my option it is not that same as putting it in a wall. Just not as in dept as I would like. If you need any help with any thing, Just comment I am on most afternoons, I try to reply to all sane comments :P. Good luck.

      If it is a metal box ground it to the box, If plastic you can leave it in the box. If you want to go above and beyond with the plastic box. wire nut & tape it up.

    What is you are in the US and have a 2 or 3 gang outlet?
    Do you need to buy 2 or 3 single gang outlets and place them one next to the other?
    If your answer is yes, esthetically talking, will those look good?

    • @TNW1337
      @TNW1337  3 года назад +1

      No with the sonoff outlet you can get 3 switches in a single outlet.(They call it a 3 gang switch witch it is not) In the US the we call one outlet a Gang usually, so a 3 gang box would be 3 switches.

    Absolutely the worst product on the market.I purchased sonoff switches for my whole house 6 months ago.All the switches just stopped working.When I called the supplier he said that if they do not have internet for more than 2 weeks they break.Now I have to replace all the switches again.What a waste of money.
