I'd like to see more departments utilize the helicopter tracking a fleeing vehicle rather than seeing someone dangerously driving trying to get away from the 20 cop cars chasing them.
Maintaining helo unit is extremely expensive. Chopper and pilots, are not cheap. Here in Riverside CA, it cost over $5 million dollars a year just for 2 old choppers and 2-3 pilots.
