    Thank you for a quick and concise video on this - saw several before yours that were vague and irritating. Great mural too, btw! Lovely work :)

    This is a really cool technique! How do you know where to put the doodles though?

    • @Kaspersart
      @Kaspersart  5 месяцев назад +1

      The squiggles come first the design comes second so it doesn’t matter what you squiggle or where it’s placed. I have another vid on it if you check that out you might understand a bit better

    I think its better to have different colors between doodle grid and the drawing lines to avoid confusing. But its a great technique though

  • @kelceykeenan4739
    @kelceykeenan4739 Год назад +1

    Did you intentionally create the general overall shape with the squiggle wall art?

    • @Kaspersart
      @Kaspersart  Год назад

      Yes so this helps avoiding any un needed extra gridding and patch up. In another video on my channel I teach another doodle grid technique that’s a bit more in depth about this

    Thanks for the explanation! I am preparing to paint my first mural ever, do you think this technique is for first timers also? Or should I search for a projector..? Thanks!

    • @Kaspersart
      @Kaspersart  2 года назад

      If you’re going to continue to paint murals get a projector anyway, it’s always good to have a backup and you can find them for $100 if you search hard enough

    Isn't it easier and faster with a projector?

    • @Kaspersart
      @Kaspersart  2 года назад

      Yeah if you can get power on site and night access for sure

    Hey man, this is very difficult to do, why not use a grid of squares that have been tested long ago?

    • @Kaspersart
      @Kaspersart  2 года назад

      Nah its easy man, can mock-up digitally in about 2 minutes and sketch up in about 15-20 with no measurements needed and all on site with adjustability of elements on the fly if needed. There’s a good reason why a vast majority of people doing commission or commercial murals use it

      Any app that has an overlay feature will work. The first ever app i had for this was called overlay but that was a long time ago now

    How do you work out the costs for a customer? What £ per litre do you go off

    • @Kaspersart
      @Kaspersart  Год назад

      All artists have different methods for pricing some may be meterage some maybe hourly and some have other methods. On that end it can be quite a person to person journey

    Great video, but the music is a but to loud, it's kinda hard to hear what you're saying over it
