My boss at work found out i was an artist and wants me to do a mural in the restaurant I work in. It'll be my first ever, wish me the best.

Doing my first mural tomorrow. I remember walking through Seattle around 5 years ago and passing one of your murals in a sort of loading bay type section of the wall. I was blown away by it and took a pic of the signature ... Been a fan and wanted to do a mural ever since :)

This is a great reason why painting murals is such a great marketing tool for artists. We get paid to paint our own billbards all over town

Friends want me to paint this huge mural in their new kitchen... Been watchin you for years man - I have my first "big ass important" mural coming up for a multicultural room in the college I graduated from. Surprise surprise, looking around for tips your vids are the ones that keep comin up everywhere. I used the same style projector, but now the LG projectors with miracast, usb, bluetooth etc. is the best thing ever!!!!!!!
I did one mural previously for a friend in her daughters room. My boss wants me to paint a mural for the resturaunt I work at!!!! I love painting big!!!! So hopefully I nail it.

When you do the grid system , have you thought of using a chalk line? It might speed up the grid system layout by diminishing the amount of measurements you have to do.

Sick work! Golden paint is ridiculously good. We got to go visit their factory & artist residency program in NY & the amount of time & effort that goes into making their paint is wild. Keep up the great work, your channel is awesome!

Dude. You blow my mind. Thank you. Also, i use 0,5l beer bottle crates to store my spray paint. Portable, stackable (sideways is best for instant access to your colour of choice). Cheers.

It's tough, but i am trying to release weekly. Art channels are hard for this becuase it usually takes me more than a week to finish a project/video
@@TenHundred Yeah I understand, you're the reason why I bought some video material to record my process ! And even filming all the process is hard as I change my mind on the go, forget to film stuff, get some bad angles.. but you're doing such a good job don't worry !

Do you use / have a preferred primer? Or do you request your projects are already primed and ready?
Also what about a protective finish? I know before in your pricing video you mentioned covering extra additions like that if the client wants it.

Wish I would have saw this before I did my first mural for my local police station!! It would have been so helpful but trial and error I geuss. Just released a 10k subscriber video three weeks ago. Probably be 40K by end of the week. Otherwise known as 400 Hundred.
I subscribed to him like 5 weeks ago. I had barely started getting into watching artists and painting videos to help me study and improve my arcylic works and like a week after that I started getting a ton of recommendations from small art channels. I was really surprised cause usually what's recommended are videos with sizable views and this guy's only had barely over 1 thousand views. I checked his channel and was blown away by his content. Sure he didn't upload at a constant rate of bigger RUclipsrs, but he's stayed farely consistant, especially given his tiny audience and the long process of his murals which were all documented and shown sped up in his videos. Even his video about a six story mural took him 6 months in total to make and he probably only had like 4,000 subs at the time. Anyone to notice that knew that his channel deserved wayyy more recognition, and it looks like he's finally getting it.

This was sooo useful! I'm doing my first mural and was trying to find another option than using a pencil to draw on the wall just cus its harder to erase, and hadn't thought of using chalk! I'll probably get a projector like yours in the future cus that's also going to make the job a lot easier and more precise.

I am researching how to prep an outdoor brick wall to do a mural, what should I do to the brick to prep it, prime and get ready for the mural?
Your art is sick man.!! You should definitely do some Russian Nesting Doll type paintings.

How do you deal with having or not having a water source? Do you have to take your brushes home and clean them? What do you do with your brushes when you are traveling around overseas?
BTW, Golden don't recommend Vat Orange, Green Gold or Turquois (Phthalo) for exterior use... No idea why, maybe Golden can advise. Damn jelly of your mega paint collection though. :D

I'm doing a mural soon for a kids playground (it's on the Eastside!) and I plan to use Golden paints too but I need some advice! How much coverage do you get from those big bottles? I need to cover at least 350sqft total and I plan to buy at least ten different bottles and probably some exterior paint to put down first, just don't know how far the Golden paint can go. Do you mix it with a medium too? Thx!

What would be the best medium/varnish/base to use for a bathroom wall mural that's prone to getting damp?

I’m using the golden fluid acrylics to paint an outdoor mural what would recommend to seal/varnish it to protect it from the weather?

I have to make a mural thats 11 by 4 meters. Golden paint is awesome but so expensive for a student/artist like me. Are there cheaper acrylic paints that are almost as durable as golden paints? *also I love your art ur one of my favouritest artists and u motivate me so much!!
There are some finishes that have UV protection. That way you can just buy the cheap paints and then put the protection over them to add some protection. Just a tip.

Hate using a hand roller on an extended pole , it's not really balanced for extensive use with a pole... but I always do it anyway😂 I should buy a proper roller for painting but i keep procrastinating
