  • Let's make a scrap filled baby toy!
    Crinkle Plastic can be purchased here: a.co/d/19jnDW5
    My Fabric Addiction 1 scrappy strip packs can be purchased here:
    www.etsy.com/l...
    For the first taggie toy, I used 9” squares of fabric and cereal bag. The “tags” used were made with fabric that was 1.75” wide, using lengths of scraps on hand.
    For the second taggie toy, the center square was 6”, surrounded by fabric scraps that were cut to 2.50” wide by needed width.

      I’m happy that you like the project! Yes, making a few and setting them aside is a great idea. They work up rather quickly, especially if the tags are already sewn from scraps, or you have a lot of ribbon or ricrac on hand.

    You could also “make” fabric from crumbs, or, if you don’t have square scraps, you could also make these circular, triangular, etc. Looking forward to making a few soon.

      Hi there Doris! You're very welcome! Yay, I'm so glad that you enjoyed this video! Yes, I can remember when I started making them with fabric instead of ribbon. All the patterns that I saw called for ribbon and I didn't really have much of a selection at the time , but I did have a great big pile of fabric scraps. Necessity is the mother of invention, right? 😉😜

      You’re so welcome! Last night when I was getting this ready to go up this morning, I had a whole description box written. I tagged about 40 different channels, I had that description box written out in detail. Somehow it didn’t get saved. Ugh!!! Earlier, someone asked me for a link to the crinkle paper and my first thought was that it was already in the description box. When I went to check, it wasn’t there. Thankfully, I was able to at least put a few things in the description box.

      Thank you for your question! We had a piece of a wood tray table that we used to use in the living room and my husband cut it down to the size I wanted it to be. Then, we covered it with layers of 100% cotton batting, followed by a layer of upholstery fabric that we pulled tight and stapled around the back.

    did you find where to get plastic for the baby toy? I do not get cereal in a bag like that. Also are these washable and how does the plastic hold up?

    • @MariesScrappyCreations
      @MariesScrappyCreations  Год назад

      Hi Linda! Thank you for your question. Last night before I went to bed, I had filled in the description box with links to the crinkle plastic and cutting measurements, and then I went to look after I read your question and realized that all my information was lost somehow. I apologize that it was not in the description box when you looked. Here is a link to where you can purchase the crinkle plastic. As far as washing goes, I have always told people to hand wash them, and lay them flat to dry.
