Lovebites did not officially cover *Iron Maiden* yet, but they already wrote a song in hommage to them: "The Crusade", with obvious allusions to Iron Maiden's "Aces High". Very convincing!
Iron Maiden is probably the classic metal band that is closest in sound to LOVEBITES. Having said that, LOVEBITES really do play a variety of classic metal styles, including straight up Thrash Metal. For anyone who loves the classic metal from the 80s and the early 90s, LOVEBITES are heaven sent. I'd add that in terms of pure musicianship, LOVEBITES are better than any of those legendary bands.

Founded in 2016, Lovebites mainly were a hidden gem of Metal until about last summer. J-Pop, which Fami performed on her channel, is more popular among her peers and schoolchildren than metal. As a rule, the more complex the music, the fewer fans it has.

This is not power metal. Power metal is more "smooth". It doesn't have a threshing rhythm, ect. The song 'The Hammer of Wrath' is a fast tempo, threshing rhythm, shredding riffs, fast guitar solos. This is thrash metal. "Power metal vocals?" In thrash metal ranges from melodic singing to screaming vocals.

Lovebites did not officially cover *Iron Maiden* yet, but they already wrote a song in hommage to them: "The Crusade", with obvious allusions to Iron Maiden's "Aces High". Very convincing!
Iron Maiden is probably the classic metal band that is closest in sound to LOVEBITES. Having said that, LOVEBITES really do play a variety of classic metal styles, including straight up Thrash Metal. For anyone who loves the classic metal from the 80s and the early 90s, LOVEBITES are heaven sent. I'd add that in terms of pure musicianship, LOVEBITES are better than any of those legendary bands.

Founded in 2016, Lovebites mainly were a hidden gem of Metal until about last summer. The fact that the _global_ Metal community is getting to know them, is owed mainly to *word of mouth* by their fans (like in the 1980s), and to *RUclips reaction channels* . Here some information about them:
The band was formed in 2016 by original bassist Miho and drummer Haruna. Their first EP and album came out in 2017. So far LOVEBITES have released 4 albums, some Singles/EPs and also a bunch of DVD/Blu-ray live recordings.
Back in 2018/2019 LOVEBITES have already toured in Europe, including appearances at the major metal festivals as Wacken, Download, Bloodstock, Graspop. In 2018 they also won the Metal Hammer UK Golden Gods Award for best new band.
Then came covid, their original bass player and founder Miho quit the band for personal reasons and two babies were born. After a break LOVEBITES came back with new bassist Fami and new song „Judgement Day“ in late 2022. A new album with the same title came out in February 2023.
This year in June LOVEBITES‘ first world tour starts in Europe. In September they will play their biggest headline show ever in Tokyo. After that LOVEBITES will have their US debut …

Asami on vocals (the one and only voice):
She has an amazing vocal range and vibrato, writes most of the lyrics, also did parts of the song writing for their latest 2 albums, she is a former ballerina and RnB/soul singer
Miyako on guitars, piano, keyboards (the golden touch):
She is the musical brain of the band, main composer and arranger, a soulful but also shreddy guitar player and concert level pianist, furthermore she is a gear nerd
Midori on guitars (crazy shredder):
Incredibly fast and technical guitar player, has contributed to songwriting for a few of their songs, also she is a body fitness athlete
Haruna on drums (little big engine):
Plays very fast pace over long distances, she is very efficient and her stamina is admirable, the cymbal work is outstanding, she also wrote one of their songs including lyrics, creates handmade miniature fake food
Fami on bass since 2022 (shining fingers):
Absolute bass prodigy with outstanding technique, she speaks faster than sonic speed as she plays and smiles non-stop
Miho on bass until 2021 (natural born headbanger):
We will never forget her, she is a great bass player, she wrote several of the songs for the band’s albums 1-3

The bassist (youngest member in the band) has 700k subscribers in her personal channel (before joining the band) while Lovebites has 133k subs (total disgrace in my opinion about modern music taste)

J-Pop, which Fami performed on her channel, is more popular among her peers and schoolchildren than metal. As a rule, the more complex the music, the fewer fans it has.

This is not power metal. Power metal is more "smooth". It doesn't have a threshing rhythm, ect.
The song 'The Hammer of Wrath' is a fast tempo, threshing rhythm, shredding riffs, fast guitar solos. This is thrash metal.

as a metalhead myself mostly to the side of Black metal (and all subgenres that got to do with it) i have a weakness for this band. they are just perfect in everyway possible. hot AF shred like crazy. they are on world tour now but they played pretty much all over europe but skipped my country so i couldnt see them live. which suks. anyway if you want a iron maiden like song by them listen to the Crusader.
