Who's your favourite minifigure here?
Favorite: Vampire knight
You, bro (why even ask 😂) second is my 🍄 I want it SO MUCH
Harpy and Basil the Bat Lord
I REALLY want the one with the sword🗡️😃💯
Probably the vampire night but I personally don’t like the moustache.
The red herring for the noir detective is such a nice detail
It's so clever
I'm already seeing custom Inspector Gadget
Might get a few of them to make a mob for a Spider-Man Noir display.
@@wilfred9 that’s a really good idea. 🤔
I love it
I love how they remade Basil The Bat-lord :D He was so cool, especially when he had to be my Batman back in 1997
Ahaha ya I remember a time when people used that headpiece for that
Basil is a great addition given they’ve been giving out various members of the Lego Racers series over the years, like Johnny Thunder in series 14 I believe.
@@TBevill1231 and Rocket Racer himself in racers sets... huh, I wonder if they'll put Pepper from LEGO Island in the future...
@@TBevill1231 I hope they do Alpha Draconis
It's really cool how they did modernize him, but he still has that simplicity of the old castle theme. The prints are high-quality, but simple enough.
It's just the best of both worlds
The Triceratop costume will be perfect with the T-Rex costumer where they can both be mascots for the Museum Module 🙂
Shame that they didn’t make a piece to cover the face.
@@gregleuze6657 For what I'll be using it for, I don't need to cover the face, but yes, it would have been nice if ne side of the head was just a solid black square or something so it could look like just an open mouth if you wanted that.
Clever n cute idea
Night at the Museum 🦖
@@gregleuze6657may as well be a real Dino 🦖 then ,it’s a person in a costume innit
@@Bart-Did-it The extra piece could make it either. My children like that figure, I am not as big of a fan.
They call him Goatherd and not 'goat herder' because Goatherd is the proper term. it's equivalent to Shepherd being the term for a sheep herder. Also the stud in his backpack is a wheel of goat cheese.
interesting, I'd interpreted that as a chunk of goat hair/wool
Exactly that! Goat herder is the job description, not the title
@@JohnDoe-wt2zz Nah goat cheese is more known than goat wool.
I was looking to see if someone had already mentioned that it is goat's cheese :)
Indeed, if you have ever bought a feta goat cheese then this would be a no brainer.
Love the train kid!
Fun fact, the eye patch the kid is wearing is to train a condition called a "lazy eye".
It occures when one or both eyes cannot focus properly on its own due to either bad muscle stimulation or eye placement (also thanks to the muscles). due to this, the other eye has to over focus which can damage the "good" eye.
The patch helps the lazy eye to focus more and use its muscles better.
had this happen to myself when i were younger.
This is the reason why I don't have stereoscopic vision because it was done at the age where that should develop. I can change from eye to eye and get a different field of vision. Also why I can't see 3D effects from movies or video game consoles like 3DS or any VR glasses.
I've actually got train boy
Basil the bat lord is the peak minifigure of all time. He has arm printing, cape printing, and a distinguished moustsche.
Looks like he assembled the axe wrong though.
@@IceWolfLoki Whatever.
That new fedora is perfect for Spiderman Noir!
RIGHT!?
My first thought when I saw the reveal was to see which miles head had no red on it (spider man 2 venom suit head costs way too much and other venom heads I saw on bricklink have tongue out or other expressions)
It's interesting that the barbarian woman has the same chaos symbol on her belt like the barbarian from series 11 has on his belt.
Maybe the start of a new faction
That would be awesome. More factions is never a bad thing.@@UnfortunateBricks25
Omg the detective is holding a red Haring, a type of fish and a saying when your missleaded in a crime, amazing 👏👏
LEGO knew exactly where to punch a hole in my heart 🥺🍄❤️
The noir detective is perfect for a costum Grey Ghost figure from Batman.
I really like the harpy. I have been collecting the mythological monsters. I already have the minotaur, Mr and Mrs Cyclops, and Medusa. Even got the demi-gorgon just too add to the fun.
The reprinted legs frome the fuan would be great with various customs.
Having participated in many different footraces, I can confirm that the numbered paper rectangle that is pinned on the back of the runner's shirt is called a "bib," which isn't an acronym. It's kind of like a baby bib, which is tied around a baby's neck to protect their shirts from splatters and spills. Similarly, the paper rectangle on runners is often pinned on their front (not their back), and thus why it is called a "bib".
My favorites are the bat loard, the barbarian woman, the harpy, the goatherd and the mushroom girl.
Im really not a fan of the hearing aid being part of the hair pieces, i liked it better when it was on the minifigure's head because now that means that we can only use those hairstyles for characters with hearing aids.
I love the intention with it but i think the old way they did it allowed for more customization
5:07 Actually "goatherd" is correct. It's a word in exactly the same way that "shepherd" is a word, and with almost exactly the same etymology...just, y'know, with "goat" in place of "sheep/shep."
Edit: And that white tile he comes with is most likely some goat cheese.
Hmmmm that’s a good point about a shepherd…. But I feel like I mostly hear “herder” - like if you go look at past videos about it, everyone types that
Yeah, that's for the same reason so many people never bother to include the hyphen in "Spider-Man." The Lego Group is required to have their spelling and usage correct on their packaging; people in a RUclips comments section are under no such obligation.
Google actually says either is acceptable
The mushroom head piece would be pretty nice for Toad customs.
I was thinkig that when it apeared on screan.
The hoat being back is awesome
Mushroom girl could be used for Mario Toad
Detective is awesome
For the sprinter he has a bib number (registration for the race / event they compete in) like when marathon runners wear bib numbers. Its pronounced bib like a babies bib
One of my favorite characters from any Minifigure series is the detective because of the really cool print of the hat and I love how they made the head white to show that he was from the old days. I love you content and love your reviews! Happy new year!! ❤️
The white part of the Goatherd's is Salt. Huge gems of white salt are heavely used to train goats as a little reward (Goats love to lick it)
Cool. I didn’t think of that. I assumed it was goat cheese.
@@Akompliss How do you know this?
@@Akompliss it's common knowledge, where are you from? For cheese I would expect a print or at least a piece. Of course I do consider it could be cheese, but I don't think it would be typically Lego
@@151eg Why would cheese be printed goat cheese is just white and why would a salt lick be round?
its not salt 😂 this is such an over explanation, it’s obviously cheese
Goatherd is a normal word, like shepherd. Also I suspect the white circle represents goat’s cheese.
The noir detective’s leg print would look great on Detective Zane from the Ninjago City Markets
Really hope that we get more Dino Costumes, I love this wave so much
The tail is great for reptillian monsters. I was working on a race of creatures called serpent men with human and reptillian elements.
I wish they bring back the blind bags, it’s a lot easier that way 😢
Kind of but at least now you don't have to worry as much about never being able to find the bat lord because everyone else already bought them all the second the store opened. Its just more of a chance game of if you get the right minifigure or not.
@@seankart4459 That's a good point. The brown spaceman suffered from that. I went to the Lego store in Liverpool and they were sorting them out and putting some behind the counter because as soon as they went on sale people started feeling them out and taking every one on the display.
I'm not made up about the boxes, especially as there's not that many I really want in this series, but I can deal with it, knowing it will make the difference you mentioned here.
It’s no fun that way!
Definetly gonna bricklink that Vampire guy as a Castle fan. That cape is awesome.
Finally we get another Lego GOAT
Wahooooo
@@Ashnflash Reaky wanted one but prices wer too high. Maby this time.
Got two in a 14 box set on ebay.
It would be cool if they re released series 1 but they remake the figures. It would be cool to see the original figures with updated printing.
The "BIB" is referencing the fact that those papers with the numbers are called bibs. Its not an acronym, its just telling you what it is.
Agree. Probably they wanted to over explain it’s a bib and not be an official Olympic 2024 endorsement. So they just numbered the bib 2024.
Love the new hairpiece on the sprinter, finally a style that looks like mine
I really like the harpy figure. Would be great for d&d style MOCs
Agreed, idk I don't think bright colours make figures like this bad. Fantasy and mythical creatures can be colourful and still look cool or menacing
It’ll be living in my medieval castle set up
All medieval and mushroom looks amazing.
The mushroom hat can be use to a custom toad for lego mario minifigure
The grey hat for the noir detective would be good for a custom 50s vision in his human form from wandavision
Great detailed review, thanks!
the vampire knight reminds me of the daedric armor from skyrim
It's similar to the original version of Basil the batlord from the 90's
Goatherd *is* a word, and it means exactly what you think it means; it's the same construction as "shepherd"
Good point about the medal... getting a gold, silver and bronze would be a nice touch... also a different colour ribbon would've been nice.
Next year will be the 2nd place
Really love this series! Favorites are prolly the Bat Lord (obviously), Viking lady and Harpy
Great series. I was definitely a bit too harsh in my pre-judgements. The Barbarian Woman, the Noir Detective the Bat Lord are my faves.
Its cool with that gaming black falcon fig, makes it seem like lego castles and lego city is in the same world, just hundreds and hundreds of years apart.
The eye patch for the train kid is to improve the vision for the other eye because I would know, I used to have them on all the time
You’re right, it’s a treatment for a lazy eye. Love the details on these Minifigs
The train costume piece makes me wish for some varients in the future, like a diesel engine costume or an industrial shunter costume
A buldozer or uther cunstruction suit would be great. My nephew loves trucks and such and he would love those on minifigures.
Wanna get the noir detective, the goat herder and the Triceratops costume guy!
Oh I am a big fan of warrior-women, so that Xena/Red Sonja fig is my favorite!
i rlly want the noir detective so i can make a custom detective zane minifigure, i can’t be bothered to get the ninjago city markets for that one character.
(ik i could use bricklink but there’s no guarantee on a good deal there)
Hi!
Big fan here!
Where do you buy the boxes with the 36 minifigs? Best I can find is a 6 pack. I'd like to have 3 of each of these.
I've been having a hard time calibrating my scale to get the same results like yours, what weights do you use to calibrate?
The noir detective is really giving me Schindler’s list vibes
What's the fish meaning?@@UltraPancake-qe6vh
I can see some minifigures being use for D&D characters and or creatures.
I let my kids make their character out of our extra mini figs. Some of these will be perfect
@@tompatchak8706 I always mix figures for my owne customes. Great pieces for bird men and uther fantasy creatures. I miss clasic castle but glad lego gives us some fantasy minifigures now and then.
@@TheOmegazerox really am excited for these. But would like to see cheaper sets.
Like maybe 4 or 5 at $40 to $60 to be put together into one big project
The black-and-white detective can be used for the Zane from that new Ninjago city set where he’s in his detective outfit, just saying
I am SOOOOO getting that Fierce Barbarian figure.
I wish I had known about these a little sooner. My local walmart accidently got some mixed in with the marvel series 2. They were not in the system so they couldn't sell them to me.
These look phenomenal! The vampire minifigure is my fav! 😅
Ash, the little white tile with the goat guy is obviously representing goat cheese !
The knight looks cool
Right!?
The torso and legs are great for a custom inspector gadget minifig
The hat too!
@@tompatchak8706 maybe but the hat won't be the same
@@theawesomeunclechannel4881 oh, I know it’s not the same but it looks pretty close to a random person. It’ll be perfect.
@@tompatchak8706 yeah but still the detective is great to make a custom inspector gadget minifig
@@theawesomeunclechannel4881 take off the hands and put a bunch of ropes and stuff
Harpy figure appears, god of war music intensifies…
Maybe in the future they can use the black and white detective hat for a Spider-Man Noir figure!
Where you can buy this sleeve?
The detective reminds me Inspector Clouseau, the barbarian to Conan the barbarian and the harpy to the clash of the titans of 1981. Basil the Batlord is the best minifigure
So for the fitness trainer its not RT Sport its the last two letters of sport like how sports bras have it wrapped anround the entire bottom, thats why theres the SP on the other side of it
Does anyone know what the number was on the bottom of the box the goat was in?
So happy to see basil back
The noir detective reminds me of the simple earlier days of lego minifigures. A basic concept with a funny gag.
Awesome video ashnflash
Thanks 😁
@@Ashnflash you're welcome 😊 buddy 😊
They look great, but now it's in boxes i won't be collecting, too difficult to know which one you get. A shame as i would have liked the goatherd
Im not a big cmf guy but this series slaps. Im definitely gonna get the whole set. All I need is an ear canal camera lol.
I wish the head was yellow it would have worked well for the commissioner from ninjago ( talking about the dectective
Just need the Triceratops fig for my son's Jurassic Park display.
I want to make a Raziel (from Legacy of Kain) minifigure using the Harpy legs and wings.
Noir detective is going to be perfect for my commissioner Gordon custom minifig
7:15 That face could be used for a custom Mabel Pines from Gravity Falls.
BIB-> runners wear “bibs” with their number on it so that they can be tracked during the race
I love basil he looks so amazing and I love his new cape
I bought some of these today on whatnot. Managed to get 7 out of 12 lol
Eyepatch Kid, with Glasses
I know I'm gonna use that to make a custom Ralphie Parker, from "a Christmas Story"
"You'll shoot your eye out"
i would say that the detective has a swedish fish candy
Im only interested on the Detective and the Triceratops but idk if I want to buy boxes cuz I don’t wanna waste money and end with minifigures I don’t want
I'm always looking for a colection or lot of figures on ebay or lego. With bags replaced with boxes I'd rather finde a colection of figures and get a better chance of certiant figures then just get 5 or so at a time. Found a 14 pack of series 25 on ebay.
Not sure if anyone answered the "BIB" question. I think it's just bib, because I'm pretty sure that's what you call the piece of paper that they put on your outfit when you're running a race.
I would assume the hole in the mushroom hat is a safety feature because it looks like it could be a choking hazard especially for kids.
Nah it’s for attaching accessories
I bought one pack and it just so happened to be the vampire knight
I can’t wait for the marathon runners hair to come in dark brown! It would be perfect for a sig fig of me. Right now now I’m stuck with TRoS Finn’s hair in dark brown, which is fine, but this one will be much better.
very nice sets .. specially the goat guy with the round plate. I think it's goat cheese
The axe blade on the top on the vampire knight is upside down
For the goat guy, the white tile is a cheese goat.
I really like the noir detective.
Does LEGO sell all 12 as a boxed set?
I'm looking forward to Series 25. I want to get the Barbarian. The Mushroom child and the Gamer.
Basil turned into a vampire
The mushroom kid could be used to build a mother mae-eye Minifigure.
That’s a goat cheese!……….the tail is de-tailed? Lol
Ahhhhhhhh interesting lol
Great video. But im pretty sure that it ist RT Sport, the RT is just end of spoRT. Took me a while to be fair🤣
It is that's why the SP is on the other side
Bazil the Batlord! Woooo!
Runners wear papers called bibs so it just says bib on it
Interesting... Didn't know it had a name
The bat lord is back
Any knight or pirates is great
That’s goat cheese his holding
I would say the 1x1 white circle tile in the Goatherd fig would be some goat cheese
I herd somewhere it's salt for the goat. That's just something I herd so feel free to corect me if an oficial explination comes oout.
i miss more real "anthro" figures like the Robin Hood one :<
the goat is awesome and the Bat knight remidns me so much of the old Leog Knight sets
