Worked 100% here in Spain. I think codes that contain a "R" work in North America, and those that contain a "S" work in Europe. New sub bro!!! Thanks 😎🔥
Dude, you are a Hero!!! I literally just checked a duplicate we got recently, and it was accurate 😮 I subbed, in the hope you're gonna keep doing these for future series. Please 🙏 do it, for the good of mankind
These codes make me buy more knowing I am not getting a duplicate. So long as they keep printing the codes on the next series I'll make these guides. Thanks for the sub!
Great video and explain, thank you! I recently returned from a store. For my surprise, the code scanning application, for almost each box shown number ends 117 (with North America's 'R'). This was weird, and i started recheck the codes, and noticed, that sometimes it shows **117 and sometimes different code. I opened such box and it was Ice Planet. Probably some glitch in the app.
Correction. My bad, there is no glitch. I should cover the bar code, when scanning QR. The bar code is what messed up my scan. I did proper re-scan at home, and got the proper codes , all are different.
Nice to hear it. I know when I'm in store I put my thumb right over at least half of the UPC barcode so that the QR code scanner won't recognise it as valid and look at the QR code instead
Your smartphone should already have a camera capable of reading these QR codes, so you shouldn't need to install a new app. When I first was testing, I just downloaded about six to play around with. They all basically worked the same to me. Just have to deal with the ads. You could also try falconbricks.com/figure-finder/ which looks like it only needs camera permissions and not having to install an app
Depends on the numbers underneath the QR code. If the number includes an R, you'll need the codes at 04:50 If the number includes an S, you'll need the codes at 04:55 The numbers will look something like 110R4 or 306S4
Instead of scanning the qr code itself, the code under it is different every time. So couldn't you just write it down and then dont pick a box with that code next time???
You definitely could do that. At least it looks that way going forward. In series 25 it wasn't so clear because the codes were mixed between the small and large QR code versions. Will be keeping an eye out for how the next CMF series runs it.
@@cardboardandsundry I don't know why I commented that when I immediately downloaded bricksearch after. I scanned the boxes and pick the nurse android and it was correct.
@AK.__ A full unopened box of 36 normally should include full 3 sets of 12 figures. You can't rule out someone mixing around the packets in store as they go through them and putting one back into the wrong case
@@cardboardandsundry Thank you much for clarifying. This is probably the first series that I want to collect all and have few sets. So looks like, the box isn't sealed and there is a chance to get something mixed up. Thanks again!
I got one, but its qr is completely different :( also bricksearch app could find the which minifigur it is :( so I crossed my fingers and opened the box. but no luck. it is number 2 but I want number 3
Did your box have an R or S in the numbers under the QR code? There is a different set of codes based on what region your box was made in and that R or S is how you can tell which list to compare against
For the S series numbers you'll need to compare with the list at 04:55 The Alien Tourist would end in 94 for an S series box like yours. Ending in 87 would be the Impostor
1. Scan the large QR code and it will show a string of letters and numbers in multiple parts 2. Get the first number segment and look at the last two numbers 3. Lookup those numbers on the S or R series list at 4:50 (based on what the five character number is underneath the QR code box) and that will tell you which minifig is inside the box
Space has all large codes. X-Men Series 2 and Series 25 had a mix of small and large. I believe the next series, D&D, will also only have large QR codes
If you scan the big QR code you will get back a series of numbers. Based on the last two numbers of the first segment you'll be able to detect which minifig is inside.
04:50 R series codes
17 Blacktron Mutant
18 Ice Planet Explorer
19 Impostor
20 Robot Butler
21 Alien Battlezoid
22 Retro Space Heroine
23 Nurse Android
24 Flying Saucer Costume
25 M-Tron powerlifter
26 Alien Tourist
27 Orion
28 Spacewalking Astronaut
I just tried this and it worked perfectly! You just got a sub from me!
04:55 S series codes
85 Blacktron Mutant
86 Ice Planet Explorer
87 Impostor
88 Robot Butler
89 Alien Battlezoid
90 Retro Space Heroine
91 Nurse Android
92 Flying Saucer Costume
93 M-Tron powerlifter
94 Alien Tourist
95 Orion
96 Spacewalking Astronaut
thanx

Thanks for the confirmation from Spain. Interesting to see which countries get which series

very helpful thank you!!
What are some good apps for the qr codes

Hope to. Looking forward to what the next series will be
Is it different depending on the country?

I've got them all 😊
Nice!
Can you that looking like bug minifig name cuz i dont know it
#10 on the call sheet is Alien Battlezoid.
For the R series the code would end in 21
For the S series the code would end in 89
I cant find one ending in 23, even after checking a full untouched box! Gotta keep trying i guess.
That sucks about the box. Good luck on the hunt
@@cardboardandsundry So the 36 units box doesn't guarantee to have full 3 series of 12 figures for 100%?

Mine ends in 96 can somebody explain
96 should be the Spacewalking Astronaut
Ah kk
If this works it’s an automatic sub from me!
This should work so long as the QR code is the large version and the numbers beneath it have an R or S. Happy hunting!
