One franchise that i would've loved to see in Lego dimensions that fits the theme of it is kingdom hearts, and possible to have a sora, riku and kairi as lego figures and the other kingdom hearts characters could've been in the hub world and having a lot of kingdom hearts original worlds in the area. Such as destiny Island, twilight town, keyblade graveyard, hollow bastion, the world that never was, dark world, dive to the heart, and maybe traverse town.
God this makes me so disappointed. I need someone to make a petition to bring back Lego Dimensions. Think of how many franchises we could finally put together in one game. We could have all our favourite characters interact with each other in an extremely well put together lego game. It was killed long before it should’ve been. Give it a second chance
I would have liked to see a Star Trek pack. A level pack would include Captain Kirk with the vehicle being the Enterprise shuttle and gadget being a tricorder. The level would have you play through the episode "The Trouble With Tribbles" (which would fit the lego tone really well). The hub world would have you exploring the Enterprise (which would have been really cool).
I'm guessing the Arrowverse hub world would have been Star City and Central City combined, like how Gotham and Metropolis were in the DC adventure world, with The Island off in the water.
This is my personal headcannon of the franchises that I think would've been featured in Year 3. Since Year 1 had 14 franchises and Year 2 had 16 franchises, I'm just following the pattern and assuming Year 3 would've had 18 franchises: - Minecraft - Despicable Me - Looney Tunes - Tom & Jerry - Shrek - How To Train Your Dragon - The Croods - Captain Underpants (Locations from the film as well as the book series would be featured in the adventure world) - Avatar (I believe that it would've been the movie, not the TV show, personally) - Godzilla - King Kong - Pirates of the Caribbean - Universal Monsters - Angry Birds (The adventure world will take aspects from the film as well as the games) - The Smurfs (The adventure world will take aspects from the old comics and cartoons, not the live action movies, nor the animated movie that came out at the time) - TinTin (The adventure world will take aspects from the old comics, however, the animated 2011 movie is simply based on some of the comic's storylines, so locations from the movie will technically still be featured in the adventure world) - Thunderbirds - Megaman(?) (From what I've heard in other places, the adventure world wouldn't have been just a Megaman world. Megaman was simply the mascot for an adventure world based on popular video game franchises. So, the adventure world would comprise of different video game locations) To get a few things out of the way, I believe that Minecraft and Despicable Me would've been saved for Year 3, and were not scrapped content for Year 2. I also believe Godzilla and King Kong would've been separate franchises and adventure worlds based on each of their respective movies, and feature nothing from the Monsterverse films. If you don't think the two adventure worlds will be unique enough to be separate, Godzilla's adventure world will take place mainly in Japan and feature many of Godzilla's enemies, while the King Kong world will feature Manhattan and Skull Island. I imagine the two characters (Godzilla especially) would be able to swap into their different designs throughout the decades and have different abilities. And yes, apparently Megaman was just supposed to be the introductory character to an adventure world, similar to the Midway Arcade world, that's a combination of locations from many different video game franchises, I believe it would've most likely been themed around "incredibly popular video game icons", and probably characters from the older side of video game history. And as for the other franchises mentioned in this video, I believe they would be saved for Year 4: - The LEGO Ninjago Movie - Arrowverse - Wonder Woman (2017) - Avatar: The Last Airbender - Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles - Steven Universe - James Bond A few too many of the franchises listed above just consist of repeated characters, including Lloyd, Green Arrow and Wonder Woman... Also, I think the reason James Bond was replaced for Mission: Impossible instead was because the Bond franchise is a lot more adult to be featured in a kids game (idrk how much my statement holds up since we also got The Simpsons, The A-Team, Gremlins, Knight Rider and Beetlejuice... lol). But the rights thing could be another reason too. Btw, while watching this video, I just found out that the Arrowverse, the Wonder Woman movie, and James Bond were supposed to be featured in LEGO Dimensions. I've never heard about those rumours before and this is the first time I've heard of those after being a LEGO Dimensions fan since the beginning, which is crazy to think that I'm still learning new things about this game to this day XD
You’re telling me we were robbed of getting LEGO Avatar, Godzilla, Mega Man, Tom and Jerry, AND Universal Monsters?! Man, LEGO dropped the ball HARD here. I’m surprised Avatar didn’t come back when the Netflix show came out, and even more so that we haven’t seen a Mega Man CMF yet.
Dimensions was a great idea and I'm grateful for it giving me actual Gremlins, Sonic, Portal and Beetlejuice minifigs. I would have loved more like the universal monsters and Shrek. They were supposed to do a Sauron pack as well. It's a shame the packs were quite expensive and didn't sell well.
this makes me sad that the game did get canned. I wish that they could bring it back, idc if it's toys to life or not I just want the franchise to come back.
actually, Vortek would have been great for the game's lifespan past it's active time, because of the fact that, it'd turn the purchase from "To play Lego Dimensions, you need hundreds of different sets" to just "The starter pack and Vortek." all you'd miss then would be the characters, but you wouldn't be locked out of too much content
I remember putting an entry in on lego ideas FOREVER ago as a kid for a Steven Universe pack for Dimensions and put in all my ideas even down to the hearts being cookie cats or half a cookie cat depending on your health but got denied cuz they weren't taking ideas for dimensions
I was actually surprised this game got cancelled after just a year, because in my honest opinion, it was actually one of the better "toys to life" games with fun crossovers and more interactive features than others of the genre like Amibo or Disney Infinity which only really had static figures. Considering this game was around $80 AUD at release and with that you got the base game plus a few cute, interesting Lego builds and the hub thing, that's a lot more than what you get from these near $140 "deluxe" and "ultimate" editions of games nowadays that paywall features which should be included in the base game without any other features that properly make it worthwhile. While I do agree the packs could get expensive, Amibo and DI figures were practically twice the price (at least where I live) for just.. y'know, a static figures in comparison to mini Lego sets you could build.
I'm surprised Ben 10 wasn't planned. They'd made Teen Titans Go and the Powerpuff Girls reboot, so I thought adding Ben 10 would make sense, even if it were the reboot. A fun pack would have been fun, or a level pack with Ben and maybe an alien like Heatblast or Diamondhead. Idk man, I just want Ben 10 minifigs.
For wave 10, I would’ve LOVED at least ONE more Sonic The Hedgehog pack. I was thinking a Team Pack with Silver The Hedgehog and Blaze The Cat. They perfectly fit the theme of LEGO Dimensions, Silver’s a time traveler and Blaze is a Princess from another universe. I also daydreamed of 2 other franchises which were Battlestar Galactica and Tomb Raider as Substitutes for Star Wars and Indiana Jones
Sonic The Hedgehog - Playable Characters That I'll Love For Lego Dimensions Reamake, or Lego Dimensions 2: Sonic Metal Sonic Rouge The Bat Cream Amy Shadow Knuckles Doctor Egg Man Tails Nights Into Dreams Seelkadoom and Reala 💯😫🙏🏿.
Funny thing is we just got a new game specifically funko fusion that’s literally just like Lego dimensions and funny thing is they have a possibility on bringing all these ideas that never made it to the Lego dimensions game considering the fact that funko has A LOT of ips they could use
I wanted a Lego dimensions without the toys so bad And also a Total Drama Island world and Gwen, Duncan, Trent, Geoff, Leshawna, Heather, Izzy, Owen and Alejandro as playable characters The Island, the s2 studio, the aftershow studio and the s3 plane being the parts of the open world And extra missions with Chris McLean, Chef, Eva, Noah, Cody, Katie, Sadie, Ezekiel, Blaineley, Sierra, the interns and other characters
If lego dimensions actually did have dreamworks franchises in the game the 4 movies I'd pick to have their own worlds would be: 1. Shrek (Puss in Boots would be a playable character to the Shrek world) 🧅🟢 2. Kung Fu Panda 🐼🥟 3. How to Train Your Dragon 🐲⚔️ 4. Megamind Ⓜ️🔫
Lego Dimensions: Was rumored to include Despicable Me. Me: I KNOW YOU HEARD THE RUMORS. Also maybe for Shrek, the alternate reality from Shrek 4, could've been a TARDIS location, where you battle Rumpelstiltskin and his Witches! Also the Smurfs: We live, we love we lie.
I find it interesting that sometime in 2019 Lego styled Godzilla minifigures started to appear online. I have a theory that the mold from the dimensions pack is the same as the knock offs the mold being stolen causing the pack to be cancelled. But that’s just my personal theory
I kind of wish there was a reimagining of LEGO Dimensions, but without the toys to life gimmick. Maybe have additional characters, kits and levels as DLC for a much cheaper price.
I think the Godzilla and King Kong pack was more related to the original 1962 versus movie than the Monsterverse. Especially since Kong Skull Island would've only been out by the time of Dimensions year 2 and maybe difficult to incorporate compared to an easy Tokyo or general Japanese city with bonus tribal island world. Plus the vehicle/item add-ons would be easier to do with the original Japanese Toho version as they could add Maser Tanks or the ship used to bring King Kong to Japan.
That makes little to no sense. WB only owns the rights to their own versions of the kaiju. And seeing as the Monsterverse was already in it's early stages they would clearly have wanted to promote their own versions instead of having to buy rights from Toho to get Showa era Godzilla stuff.
It's a real shame that the game didn't perform well. I remember how my mind was blown as a kid seeing all these different characters from other IPs in the same Lego game. I guess now the closes thing we have to a massive Lego crossover game is Lego Fortnite.
At the point where I wish I stop hearing how cooler this game could've been. It just hurts to hear more about this game, it was one of the coolest games that ever existed.
I wanted My Hero Academia, Dimension W, Hell Teacher Nube, Monsters vs Aliens, Miraculous Ladybug, Steven Universe, Marvel, Ghost in the Shell, Power Rangers, RWBY and Gegege No Kitaro in Lego Dimensions
Watching this, my hope is still somewhat strong that we get a Lego Dimensions none toys to life remaster. Maybe without the cancelled year 3 content, but maybe some cancelled content like a playable Missy and Vortech. But personally we do need a version of Lego Dimensions like this to at least allow lots of people to have access to this game and also keep the game playable once a lot of the pads and character tags stop working
I actually have a list of ideas for what could've been added if "Lego Dimensions" didn't undersell. [FRANCHISES] 1.) "Looney Tunes" and "Duck Dodgers" - Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck can appear in a team pack that would not just unlock the "Looney Tunes" World, but with Daffy, you'll also unlock the "Duck Dodgers" World. In fact, Daffy would probably have the most abilities, as he can change into Duck Dodgers and Green Loontern. Taz, Marvin, Porky, and Lola would be available separately as fun pack characters with Porky and Marvin being cross-compatible with the "Duck Dodgers" world. 2.) "Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory" - While I prefer the 2005 film over the 1971 film, I chose the original film due to its cult status. which I assume Traveller's Tales wanted. Willy Wonka is the only character you play as, but he has a character changing ability that lets him turn into Charlie Bucket (who can fly with the Fizzy Lifting Drink), Augustus Gloop (who can dig), Violet Beauregard (who can solve gyrosphere puzzles by turning into her blueberry form), Veruca Salt (who has sonar smash), and Mike Teevee (who can shrink to enter vents). 3.) "Animaniacs" - Yakko Warner can come in a level pack with Wakko and Dot in a team pack. Or just have Yakko and Wakko in a team pack with Dot having a fun pack. Like the "Scooby-Doo" world, the "Animaniacs" world can have the characters cel-shaded graphics. 4.) "The Matrix" - Despite being an R-rated film, I'd simply tone down the mature content in some way (unless it's not a smart move to include it at all). Neo, Morpheus, and Trinity would have their own separate fun packs. They all can share the bullet time ability. 5.) "Spongebob Squarepants" - Spongebob and Patrick would come in a team pack with Sandy Cheeks available separately as a fun pack character. 6.) "Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius" - I don't know whether he should come in a level or story pack, but either way, Jimmy is the only character who would be playable, as all his gadgets from the movie and TV series serve as his abilities (ex. His jetpack for flying, the Shrink Ray for growing and shrinking stuff, the Hypno-beam for mind control puzzles, and the Neutronic Air Gum for swimming underwater.). He's also got the same hacking and fix-it abilities as Cyborg, Doc Brown, and Doctor Who, and can solve intelligence puzzles. 7.) "My Life as a Teenage Robot" - As criminally underrated as that show is, I would pay to see "Lego Dimensions" include Jenny as a playable character. In fact, being the only playable character from that franchise, Jenny would come in her own fun pack. Her world would also have a red brick that grants all characters invulnerability, including the titular teenage robot herself. 8.) "Danny Phantom" - This underrated show can also work if Danny and Vlad came in a team pack like Harry Potter and Lord Voldemort, or if Danny had a level pack and Vlad Plasmius had his own fun pack. 9.) "Avatar: The Last Airbender" - I'd have Aang, Toph, and Prince Zuko available separately in fun packs, while Katara and Sokka would come in a team pack. 10.) "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" - I'd use the 2012 cartoon as the basis. My thought was to have Leo, Donnie, April, Splinter, and Shredder available in separate fun packs, with Raphael and Michelangelo together in a team pack. For more information, click here [ ideas.fandom.com/wiki/LEGO_Dimensions:_Year_3_(321SPONGEBOLT) ] to see my suggestions for abilities they would have.
Biggest loss of my childhood gaming-wise has to be the cancellation of Lego Dimensions and Disney Infinity, can’t tell you how many hours I put into those games, now i just get sad thinking about it.
@@LegoManCam It’s just that, at the point this pack would’ve released, the Monsterverse was just two movies, Godzilla (2014) and Kong: Skull Island (2017), so there wouldn’t have been much to take from, not to mention that it was still fairly serious at that point too.
Despite some of these franchises being pretty cool, I think it would be cooler if lego used Actual Lego themes as Worlds like nexo knight of a world that would combine galaxy squad, monter fighters and lego agents, we barely got any actual lego frachises in the game and I would have like to see more
I’m pretty sure the Godzilla and King Kong pack was going to be based on the 1962 film King Kong Vs Godzilla, but whatever. Honestly, I kind of wish they managed to go through with that. I’m a huge Godzilla fan. Not so much with King Kong, but I like him too. This probably would have been one of the first packs for year 3 I would have gotten. Although, I also do wonder how this one would have worked since Kong and Godzilla are both giant. Other packs I would have liked to get for year 3, and probably also some of the first ones I would have gotten, are the Shrek pack, the Tom And Jerry pack, and maybe the Angry Birds pack. Also, for the Ninja Turtle pack, how about a story pack with all four turtles? Too much? And what TMNT would this have been based on?
If it was based on the 60s movies the figs wouldn’t be too hard since they were just costumes and the world probably would’ve been like small or something but idk just brainstorming
By year 3, I’d expect dimensions to not even have any releases based on brands with lego sets, rather just random nostalgic or relevant IPS which people want minfigures of.
I feel like we would have also gotten Green Loontern for Loonie Toons as either his own thing or as costume for Daffy when he entered the classic DC or Arrowverse worlds.

- Megaman(?) (From what I've heard in other places, the adventure world wouldn't have been just a Megaman world. Megaman was simply the mascot for an adventure world based on popular video game franchises. So, the adventure world would comprise of different video game locations)
To get a few things out of the way, I believe that Minecraft and Despicable Me would've been saved for Year 3, and were not scrapped content for Year 2. And as for the other franchises mentioned in this video, I believe they would be saved for Year 4:
- The LEGO Ninjago Movie
- Arrowverse
- Wonder Woman (2017)
- Avatar: The Last Airbender
- Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
- Steven Universe
- James Bond
A few too many of the franchises listed above just consist of repeated characters, including Lloyd, Green Arrow and Wonder Woman...
I wish that somewhere out there in the multiverse, there’s a universe where the entire game finished and was a success
the fact that mega man was considerd makes me so depressed, I'm thinking of calling up that bridge.
this makes me sad that the game did get canned.
I’ve got the perfect idea for a monsterverse team pack, minifigure Godzilla and Kong, brickbuilt skullcrawler, and maybe a brickbuilt monarch vehicle
Always have
For wave 10, I would’ve LOVED at least ONE more Sonic The Hedgehog pack.
Sonic The Hedgehog - Playable Characters That I'll Love For Lego Dimensions Reamake, or Lego Dimensions 2:
Sonic
Metal Sonic
Rouge The Bat
Cream
Amy
Shadow
Knuckles
Doctor Egg Man
Tails
Nights Into Dreams
Seelkadoom
and Reala 💯😫🙏🏿.
It’s a shame Despicable Me didn’t get in to Lego dimensions. I would pay good money to see Lord Vortech get Vectored!
Funny thing is we just got a new game specifically funko fusion that’s literally just like Lego dimensions and funny thing is they have a possibility on bringing all these ideas that never made it to the Lego dimensions game considering the fact that funko has A LOT of ips they could use
I wanted a Lego dimensions without the toys so bad
And also a Total Drama Island world and Gwen, Duncan, Trent, Geoff, Leshawna, Heather, Izzy, Owen and Alejandro as playable characters
The Island, the s2 studio, the aftershow studio and the s3 plane being the parts of the open world
And extra missions with Chris McLean, Chef, Eva, Noah, Cody, Katie, Sadie, Ezekiel, Blaineley, Sierra, the interns and other characters
I really appreciate that I'll bring up lego dimensions 2
I remember hearing something about a knuckles and tails team pack
It's a real shame Bionicle was never considered.
If lego dimensions actually did have dreamworks franchises in the game the 4 movies I'd pick to have their own worlds would be:
1. Shrek (Puss in Boots would be a playable character to the Shrek world) 🧅🟢
2. Kung Fu Panda 🐼🥟
3. How to Train Your Dragon 🐲⚔️
4. Megamind Ⓜ️🔫
This information has literally ruined my night
Omg, I would've loved Lego Captain Underpants
Too bad they cancelled this, great video BTW!
I hope vortech may be in multiversus as it can get us closer to a minifigure.
Why couldn’t this happen!? With this and Disney Infinity 4.0 it’s always the coolest stuff that was cancelled
Am happy someone is doing lego dimensions videos I wish it came back but toys to life is dead
Always wondered what they’d do with that End Credit scene.
Man we could have gotten HTTYD?! Come on!
the fact I can't have missy or shrek is so sad
I really wanted lego the lone ranger in dimensions, as the sets got cancelled to soon.😢
Would've been awesome!
I'm still pissed Spongebob wasn't considered, he had lego sets!
Once again, Lego did my boy Ron dirty
I kind of wish there was a reimagining of LEGO Dimensions, but without the toys to life gimmick. Maybe have additional characters, kits and levels as DLC for a much cheaper price.
The minecraft asventure world should of been a collage of all the tutorial worlds
That would've been cool! I love that classic tutorial world from the XBOX 360 version!
I want lord vortech the most
Wasn't there also a data mine that discovered a bunch of assets for other Sonic characters?
It would be cool if we got LEGO Island characters like Pepper Roni and the Brickster.
It's a real shame that the game didn't perform well. I remember how my mind was blown as a kid seeing all these different characters from other IPs in the same Lego game. I guess now the closes thing we have to a massive Lego crossover game is Lego Fortnite.
Thanks for the video ❤
At the point where I wish I stop hearing how cooler this game could've been. It just hurts to hear more about this game, it was one of the coolest games that ever existed.
i would've lost my absolute shit over lego captain underpants
LEGO MINECRAFT WHYYY 😢
Red looks depressed to be a lego in the thumbnail
I wanted My Hero Academia, Dimension W, Hell Teacher Nube, Monsters vs Aliens, Miraculous Ladybug, Steven Universe, Marvel, Ghost in the Shell, Power Rangers, RWBY and Gegege No Kitaro in Lego Dimensions
The interaction between Amethyst and Himiko Toga would be funny and iconic. Also I would love to see Kamen Rider in Lego Dimensions
[FRANCHISES]
1.) "Looney Tunes" and "Duck Dodgers" - Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck can appear in a team pack that would not just unlock the "Looney Tunes" World, but with Daffy, you'll also unlock the "Duck Dodgers" World.

11.)transformers-with live action in 2007-2023.
19:43 That’s currently airing on MeTv Toons. Plus I prefer Fireball XL5 anyway.
Biggest loss of my childhood gaming-wise has to be the cancellation of Lego Dimensions and Disney Infinity, can’t tell you how many hours I put into those games, now i just get sad thinking about it.
I could’ve sworn the rumour was that the Godzilla and Kong pack was based on the old movie from the 60s
Very well could've been I was just thinking since the Monsterverse is so popular it would've been a hit
@@LegoManCam It’s just that, at the point this pack would’ve released, the Monsterverse was just two movies, Godzilla (2014) and Kong: Skull Island (2017), so there wouldn’t have been much to take from, not to mention that it was still fairly serious at that point too.
Despite some of these franchises being pretty cool, I think it would be cooler if lego used Actual Lego themes as Worlds like nexo knight of a world that would combine galaxy squad, monter fighters and lego agents, we barely got any actual lego frachises in the game and I would have like to see more
I've been replaying Lego Dimensions lately, trying to 100% the game using nfc tags, and its been making me wish we got a year 3.
I would actually love to imagine that they would’ve used Monsterverse Godzilla and 1976 Kong (the 1976 version holds a special place to me)
Lego Thunderbirds would have completed my childhood
I just want them to release a few more poly bags. Doesn’t even have to be an update. Give me Tails or Knuckles or Ron or Flash. That kind of stuff.
I always thought that a futurama Lego pack of some kind would have been super fun, especially with all the material they have.
