My tournament controller finally broke on me after 3 years of daily use. It wasn’t the controllers fault it was mine, for trying to desolder the analog sticks 😭
Hey, it lasted 3 years. It shows that the TE is way more durable than the Ultimate. I mean, if you take exceptional care of it, then it could last as long as the TE. But wow, 3 years of daily use.
@@kilo_imm best controller out there for sure. I’ve been using the Power A Fusion Pro controller for about a month now and it’s actually pretty solid, but I still prefer the feel of the TE.
TE is my usual controller because it's wired and grounded, but for playing claw it is by far the most comfortable. Also, only button to break so far after about 1.5 years of daily use was my LB from dropping it off of a 4 foot drop, which was fixed using a single drop of super glue. very good.
@@hunterXhamster I can't find the te either, I decided to go for the razer wolverine v2 chroma, unfortunately the ultimate isn't anywhere near that price in the uk lol
Just bought the ultimate on the amazon warehouse for 160 CAD. We'll see how it goes. UPDATE: It came in and had joystick drift I called Amazon and they gave me a discount of 25 percent off my item. I then called Razer and had it sent out to be repaired. In the time that I used it though, I loved it. Great with fighterz. Great with fallen order. To combat the stick drift I just changed the stick deadzone in the steam controller settings.

Just got my TE. The buttons on the back dont feel as smooth to hit as an elites paddles. Also something about the low wide thumbsticks feels funny, has me trying to adjust and re figure my sensitivities. It could just be I need more time for my muscle memory and hands to adapt. Have had it since last Thursday and I even played a 4 hour zombie sesh to lab out the controller. Just my 2 cents. The extra buttons on top are extremely fire tho.
@@SpankinYaBoy I think it’s holding up pretty solid so far. Sticks still feel fine. I use a kontrol freek on the right stick because they are so low. I play a lot of apex and 8 months later it still feels pretty crisp. I still think my next pro controller will be one with paddles or the Wolverine ultimate because the tournament back buttons aren’t my favorite but that’s just my opinion. Apex requires alot of jump and slide spamming and I don’t think the back buttons are as smooth as paddles. If that makes sense
I play mainly FPS games on PC and have owned the Razer Wolverine Ultimate, Razer Wolverine Tournament Edition, Power A Fusion Pro, and Power A Pro Fusion 2. Which one is best? In my opinion, none of these are as good as a controller that lots of folks have never heard of- the Flydigi Apex Series 2. This thing is marketed for mobile gaming but if you're on PC, hear me out. This thing is a beast. While both Power A Fusion controllers have four extra paddles, and the TE has 4 extra buttons and the Ultimate has 6, the Flydigi Apex 2 has eight. The layout is similar to that of the Razer Wolverines in that you have your triggers, bumpers, and two extra buttons placed in between RB,RT as well as LB, LT. The four back buttons are a lot more ergonomic than the Ultimate, TE, and you don't have to deal with flimsy paddles that get loose like those on the Power A Fusions. The controller can be played wireless through a USB dongle or via bluetooth but you can still be a tryhard if you're worried about latency and use the 10 foot USB type C cable for a wired connection. It also has customizeable RBG if you care about that. This controller includes two extra buttons that I have never seen anyone else have underneath the A and B button- a C and Z button. Also, theres a draggable wheel feature for the BXY buttons (I never use it) but it's there if anyone would care to use it. Finding the software for the controller was annoying but once I did, I loved all the different mapping features (4 custom profiles can be saved). vCuda, I highly recommend you take a look at the controller, not at all for mobile gaming use but for PC. This controller is a beast.

Love the reviews man your'e funny as shit. Just one thing. I went from a TE to the Ultimate and I gotta say the differences are small but important at least in my experience. Firstly The back buttons are better and more accessible in my opinion (I did get used to the TE ones but it took a while). This had a flow on effect as I felt the positioning of the TE back buttons meant I had to hold it in a specific way and this at least for me made it difficult to make use of the M1 and M2 buttons on top of the controller. I noticed almost immediately that with the layout of the buttons I was now able to use those buttons without even thinking about it. Just my two cents but I think useful for anyone looking to "upgrade".

I've had both of those controllers for about a year and a half I think. The tournament's bottom buttons are useless unless you have long fingers. You have to press towards the back of the buttons because they pivot at the front. So unless you have huge fingers you have to move your hand to press them. Setting them to increase or decrease stick sensitivity is cool though.

Great comparison dude. I got the Ultimate after watching your videos. Have you had any experience with the Thrustmaster ESwap X Pro Controller? I feel like that could be a contender for pro controllers from a durability standpoint
Thanks man, I appreciate it. As for the ESwap Pro, I haven't gotten one yet, and I have a lot of other controllers in line before it unfortunately. But hopefully I can get to it this year
Just bought the v2 chroma that has the same paddle buttons as the ultimate. I’m taking it back. Could have been awesome if they were shifted a centimeter or even less maybe towards the outside. I wanna try the tournament edition but I haven’t seen that one at Best Buy.
I've heard a few people saying that you can't sprint in Apex legends or Cod with this controller. Should I let this stop me from purchasing? I only play Apex legends on Xbox and pc
There really Isn't a comparison tbh. Elite controllers are big, heavy, and bulky as hell. The 9110 is compact, small, lightweight, and has a bunch of smaller differences that make them totally different controllers
my tournament edition has started to wear out heavily and i'm trying to decide if i should purchase a scuf or purchase another tournament edition, which do you think i should go for?
I wouldn't touch scuf under pretty much any circumstances, but powera might be your best bet. I f it's your thumbsticks that are wearing out, my theory is that the rubber is susceptible to certain kinds of sweat, which causes erosion. I'd give the fusion pro or spectra a shot
returned the Ultimate, the paddles on the back are in a pretty bad place, in no circumstance do I want to adjust my grip on my aiming hand to hit a paddle, might spring for the TE even though its much more expensive than the Ultimate in 2022.
people who have a fusion pro on console do not update the controller software you will get stick drift for some reason and the triggers will not work on some games like skate 3 and rainbow six siege if you have a trigger finger
holy crap dude thank you!!!! i thought i was alone and going crazy i have a tournament edition and the A B X Y destroys my hand in games like rocket league (Grand Champion fast play) and Tekken fighting game. I might return the TE and get the ultimate i havent seen the whole video yet but i came here specifically to see what u have to say about a b x y
So I’m liking the ultimate so far coming off of 5 years playing with the Microsoft elite. One thing I’m not really liking though is it feels like there is slightly more input delay on the ultimate compared to the elite.
The ultimate is actually quite a bit faster than the elite. By both, being wired, and its extremely quick tactile buttons. The ES1, while fast, isn't AS fast as the Wolverine controllers
i want to buy Razer Wolverine Ultimate , but some people say that stick resistance is too low, its true? And even you set up deadzone in to 0 in games its stil have? wort it to buy?

Also the paddles in the fusion pro are not very stable. The more you use them the more that plastic flexes loosening up the paddles. Nice controller, but as you said, flimsy.
Yeah the paddles have a design flaw in them causing the plastic that keeps them in to strip, and allow them to move around freely. Its a consistent thing that a bunch of people have come to me about. when it comes to your sticks, their actually supposed to stick like that when you take the faceplate and/or thumbsticks off. That means they're retaining their tension. Issues begin arising if they start NOT sticking lol
@@vCuda ahhh good the know man. I had no idea that sticks were suppose to stick like that. Appreciate the info bro. Been watching you for alittle while now. Great reviews and your energy is great man. Guess I just got unlucky with the drift.

You could also put the spectra enhanced controller head to head with the fusion for a video. And btw what controller do you think you would be best for Rainbow Six Siege on xbox? Great vid as always btw.
Thanks man, but I'm not too sure about seige. I've never really played it, but I really like the Wolverine TE for FPS games, as well as the Fusion pro. The spectra is something ill be looking at this year, but not soon

I have a elite series 2 controller i love the back paddles because they rest where each of my four fingers do, so im most likely going to get the ultimate controller
Conclusion: Buy the TE if your a casual gamer with the pro that its likely to last longer than everything else. Buy the Ultimate if your a crackhead tryhard (like me) if you want the biggest advantage, more comfortability, with less durability then the TE, but sure as hell is more durable than Scuffs and Elites. I am about to get my 2nd Ultimate Edition, the first one broke at around 8 months of use (it was working very well, nothing was wrong with it) i just dropped it on a hard floor and broke a trigger... I love the Ultimate though, it just feels like your holding an absolute monster.
I can’t blame anybody for getting either of these, they are both better than the Elites and Scuffs in almost every way, trust me i have had all of these controllers.
@@nickplayz5960 so i’ve been looking at both the elite and the wolverine. what about the wolverine makes it better than the elite? i love the look of the wolverine but i prefer having a wireless controller.

My tournament edition after two years the A button stopped working:( but its ok because I can use the paddle and I don’t want another controller this is the best one.
Ok would you recommend the tournament to someone new to these types of coffee controllers? I'm looking to upgrade from a stock Xbox 1 But not looking for a cheap piece of shit
Halo and cod player here. I used the TE for almost 2 years. The paddles are natural and easy to use, front buttons are crisp. The feel of the controller is like no other ive ever had, unfortunately i dropped it a ton of times and got the look stick moving on its own. Now i might try the ultimate, but im very unsure about the paddle placing on it. Does anyone have experience from TE to Ultimate?
Before you dropped it, was the TE still going strong? No stick drift or anything even? I haven't owned either controller, but I might be getting my first ever upgrade from a standard Xbox controller, and since I don't have much money (and thus whatever controller I buy, I'll essentially be using for the next couple years+ if it lasts), I'm hoping to make the right decision, and the TE seems like it might last a long time!

I’ve been using the Wolverine Ultimate for over 2 years now and it’s been great but the top left back paddle kinda stopped working besides that I’ve gotten so used to it and I’m worried that I won’t feel as comfortable on the TE I just ordered one because it’s on sale but i might just keep using my ultimate since 3/4 back paddles still work and I only use two of them anyway and then I’ll keep the TE as a backup
The paddles require attention to use them, you can't hit them on accident. At least from what I've experienced lol
It's like 40 dollars online gamestop now
always fresh and accurate info, chur brother
Second video ive watched from you and i subbed. You do a great job of providing information, while being entertaining keep it up. 👍
Thank you so much!
Can you use wireless headsets with these controllers
I've heard a few people saying that you can't sprint in Apex legends or Cod with this controller. Should I let this stop me from purchasing? I only play Apex legends on Xbox and pc
I bought the easysmx 9110 and i liked it. How does the feel of elite controllers compare to easy smx 9110?
There really Isn't a comparison tbh. Elite controllers are big, heavy, and bulky as hell. The 9110 is compact, small, lightweight, and has a bunch of smaller differences that make them totally different controllers
You cool as hell kid, love the vids and contents
my tournament edition has started to wear out heavily and i'm trying to decide if i should purchase a scuf or purchase another tournament edition, which do you think i should go for?
I wouldn't touch scuf under pretty much any circumstances, but powera might be your best bet. I
f it's your thumbsticks that are wearing out, my theory is that the rubber is susceptible to certain kinds of sweat, which causes erosion. I'd give the fusion pro or spectra a shot
you going to test out the Thrustmaster ESWAP X PRO Controller ?
you deserve a lot more subscribers
returned the Ultimate, the paddles on the back are in a pretty bad place, in no circumstance do I want to adjust my grip on my aiming hand to hit a paddle, might spring for the TE even though its much more expensive than the Ultimate in 2022.
Just ordered an ultimate today idk how I feel with the paddle placement especially since I've been using a elite series for over 3 years
Would you say that the TE paddles are better in terms of placement?
Do u like the paddle placement?
@@miguelnavarro3545 how it’s going
people who have a fusion pro on console do not update the controller software you will get stick drift for some reason and the triggers will not work on some games like skate 3 and rainbow six siege if you have a trigger finger
It'll do that if you don't calibrate it properly lol. Like you need to follow the instructions dead on, otherwise it'll fuck up
I did it head on but i
tried 2 times and still
Tournament edition, but if you want to start off on your first paddle controller get a power fusion a controller what a steal of a deal
Can't seem to find a tournament edition in NZ 🥺
holy crap dude thank you!!!! i thought i was alone and going crazy i have a tournament edition and the A B X Y destroys my hand in games like rocket league (Grand Champion fast play) and Tekken fighting game. I use mouse and keyboard with shooters because im PC but when i need to press A B X Y many times, and fast, it literally tears my hand apart and i couldnt find anyone or any review to mention it. awesome video.
My ultimate kinda died so I just got the tournament edition today. Can't wait to get off work to compare and see how long this one lasts
i want to buy Razer Wolverine Ultimate , but some people say that stick resistance is too low, its true? And even you set up deadzone in to 0 in games its stil have? wort it to buy?
My razer Wolverine Tournament edition just randomly disconnects all the time😑 really not happy with Razer quality as my pro Wildcat controller also had the same disconnecting issue over time👎🏻
I used a Brillo pad on the triggers for the tourney edition. Works great.
How's the extra button work with most games? Does games recognize extra button from the standard xbox/ps controller?
The domed thumb stick on both the wolverine ultimate and fusion pro are godly. You can't change my mind.
Far too slippery lol. At least for me
@@vCuda if you wash your hands with no soap right beforehand, its perfect
On the right or left side?
@@lolViralVideos on the right stick. Since the dome to it isn't very aggressive, it feels like a smooth normal stick that can roll on your thumb much better which can help with the smoothness of your aiming.
Need more content from this man I have never seen him b4 and immediately know he is gonna be epic big if he wants to be.. guaranteed liked and subbed all that RUclips shit.. oh and thanks for the advice
Fusion pro is nice, but flimsy. Less than a month and I’ve went through two. One had a bad bumper and the other got stick drift in weeks
Same story on my current one, its currently developing drift in its left stick
@@vCuda I had a feeling it was going to cause when I took the face plate off and was moving the sticks freely the modulars would stick at times.. sure enough weeks later it began drifting, so I returned it and got the wolverine ultimate.
I have had my TE Controller for about 2.5years now and it finally broke the A button stopped working it will work once it won't respond to the second and third hit then it will go back to responding the the rest and its on and off
I haven't gotten a controller that hasn't had stick drift in a long time. Both the last 2 s/x controllers had stick drift out of the box my brothers razer wolverine had stick drift right out of the box...
I want a pro controller one with no extream dead zone issues like the razer controllers had the elite 2 which had trash quality control mine literally had two of the smaller paddles from the left side and at least 15% more dead zone than a regular controller.
What thumbsticks are usable to buy for the ultimate wolverine?
You could also put the spectra enhanced controller head to head with the fusion for a video. And btw what controller do you think you would be best for Rainbow Six Siege on xbox? Great vid as always btw.
Thanks man, but I'm not too sure about seige. I've never really played it, but I really like the Wolverine TE for FPS games, as well as the Fusion pro.
The spectra is something ill be looking at this year, but not soon
I don't speak English :(, which is the winner?
Does the ultimate use propietary cable? I noticed grooves. Or can you use any?
hi dude....fun vids. i want out of the elite v1 and v2 and been lookin at wolverine te. wich would you choose wolverine te or ultimate? your honest opinion. have a great one =)
Te for simplicity, the ultimate for the ultimate experience
I have a elite series 2 controller i love the back paddles because they rest where each of my four fingers do, so im most likely going to get the ultimate controller
How did you get the control freak on the Wolverine…mine just stays falling off…
Love your vids, my ultimates' bumpers and dpad are kinda busted so im thinking of using mu warranty soone
I'm sorry to hear it man
R the paddles easy to hit on the ultimate? I’m switching from a series 2
As I say in the video, very
@@vCuda thx my guy much love ❤️
can you add a modifier button to these controllers?
What type of kontrolFreek did you use for it to fit on your razor
Ps4 kontrol freeks are the only ones that'll work, and they still need to be messed with to work properly
@@vCuda i have xbox kontrol freek so it wouldnt fit on the tournament?
Conclusion:
Buy the TE if your a casual gamer with the pro that its likely to last longer than everything else.
It's the wolverine te for me, my stock Xbox controller started to get stick drift after 3 months and my ps4 controller still going strong after 5 years.
Anyone having a problem where your party chat cuts out on xbox one with a wire headset in the tournament edition?
Will you do a raiju vs wolverine comparison?
Eventually
My tournament edition after two years the A button stopped working:( but its ok because I can use the paddle and I don’t want another controller this is the best one.
did they discontinue the te? it says they arent making them anymore and they are out of stock everywhere for me
They've had inconsistent stock for a while now. It'll pop back up again sometime. Amazon would be the best place to keep an eye on
Ok would you recommend the tournament to someone new to these types of coffee controllers?
I'm looking to upgrade from a stock Xbox 1
But not looking for a cheap piece of shit
11k???? Congrats bro last video I watched today was 10.9k
I Appreciate it my man for real!
How did you get your kontrol freeks on it?
i like youre vids bro, keep it up
@@marcusna8268 shut up
end up changing the sticks on the TE for the xbox ones to fit the control freak thumbs XD
Maybe a stupid question but does the ultimates mic mute button work on wireless headphones?
I don't believe so lol
What monitor should I get BenQ ZOWIE XL2411P 24 Inch or Asus VG248QG 24 and what’s better
