Yeah this interviewer was actually really good. I'm shocked by the depth of his questions. Really good video tbh. Made me like Tarantino even more than usual.
And it would be easy for him to do. Just see a movie a week, and then talk about it, inevitably digressing into anecdotes, memories and the history of film. The real question is: who would co-host? That would be tricky casting.

It's important for him to be responsive, and if he laughs at Quentin's jokes it will let Quentin loosen up and open more up about him self - so the so called "fake laughs" are necessary for this interview to be this good.

These Australian interviewers ask good questions. All I hear when I watch American ones is what inspired you? and about the 70 mm and I've heard the answer to those questions to many times. He's probably glad he gets to answer some new questions
It's frustrating when interviewers waste time by asking a question anybody in the industry can answer like "so what is 70mm film?" What a waste having Tarantino on their show and asking him that. May as well have some nerd on. I agree, Marc Fennell is awesome at interviewing.
Considering Tarantino has ended multiple interviews in swearing and walking out, and he called this one "lovely," I think you definitely deserve some credit here. Finally an honest interviewer who isn't attacking Tarantino for his excessive violence (which we all know is fucking awesome), nice job.

Personally one of my favourite Quentin Tarantino interviews I have ever seen! I must first say thank you for having a title that isn't clickbait, yet still sounds like something you want to watch! Second, thank you for being an amazing interviewer and keeping it real; thank you for not asking generic questions and actually asking what most critics (i.e. Me, also known as a nerd/film buff - lol) are really wanting to know; an example being "What film of yours would you say taught you a valuable lesson?" That is the stuff we want to know about! We want to know what Quentin was thinking so we can see the film EXACTLY as he intended! This was a great interview to watch Marc, excellent work, and thank you. I watched Pulp Fiction and Kill Bill years ago, and thought they were good films. I felt the same way about Reservoir Dogs. About two months ago, I watched Inglourious Basterds, Hateful Eight, and Once.. Upon a Time in Hollywood within a fortnight, and loved each of them. Tarantino is a consummate filmmaker and director.
Still a good interview. If I was there, I would probably be looking at Mr. Tarantino with the same dumb smile on my face. It's nice to see him genuinely interested in the questions. That man just oozes passion from his face.

To every question Quentin gave a really nice answer. He really thinks about the question and gives a long and thoughtful answer.

Still a good interview. If I was there, I would probably be looking at Mr. Tarantino with the same dumb smile on my face. It's nice to see him genuinely interested in the questions. That man just oozes passion from his face.

This interview is one of the best I have ever seen. Thats because you asked the right questions but also because Quentin is a lovely interview parter (if you you ask the right questions). To every question Quentin gave a really nice answer. He really thinks about the question and gives a long and thoughtful answer.
