    Bought one last week with Caliber U680 in SS. Unfortunately in this region, wasn't available in Titanium.
    I found some discrepancies in owners manual (transaction to Slovak language), for example it is stated to adjust charge indicator to EUR instead to 6 O'clock position (China marking) which is reading wrong now when fully charged or confirming radio signal where comes from.
    I must re-set it as per your instructions.

    There is a mistake in this calibration, to do with the charge indicator hand.
    The video starts with the charge indicating full charge, but ends indicating half charge. Also the radio location will indicate wrong too. The issue is that an earlier design had this face so that you calibrate it to the 6 o’clock position, but this model (like mine) is a bit different and is zerod at a 7:00 position, pointing to the dash for Europe. Those graphics have been rotated 30 degrees or so from what is shown in the manual, but manual does say that hand should be zerod to point at EUR.
    When you calibrate set to EUR, will go back to showing full charge. I noticed this issue after I could not figure out why the watch was not fully charging and syncing to EUR instead of NYC. It was at full charge and received the correct signal but hand was off.

    • @READComment1
      @READComment1 2 года назад

      This is very interesting, thanks for sharing. I’m noticing the same issue where the watch is staying at charge 3, despite giving it light. Accidentally played around with the hand calibration mode and came upon your comment. Are you sure EUR (at 7 o’clock position) is the correct zero position? The manual on the website states that the 6 o’clock CHN is the proper zero. It may be that you’re not getting full charge due to lack of exposure to natural light (the best source of light to charge vs artificial light).

    • @christianmoreton9326
      @christianmoreton9326 2 года назад

      @@READComment1 Yes I am sure it's the correct position now because when I check that the watch has done it's atomic clock sync, it indicates that it's using the USA station, and correctly showing full charge, which are accurate. Both those were wrong before.

    • @READComment1
      @READComment1 2 года назад

      @@christianmoreton9326 And I assume you are situated in the US within reception of the atomic radio tower? If so, then it seems like your power reserve hand is properly calibrated, so when it indicates full charge now, it is indeed full. The issue is that mine indicates charge 3, but when I press the 4 o’clock pusher to see where it tried (and failed) to get a signal, it points to USA. If I offset the zero to EUR, it’ll indicate charge 1 as the location, theoretically…

    I just bought one with no booklet. When I do a manual radio sync the rec needle points to Eur although my home time is set to Chicago. Do I need to do a reset? Or am I doing something wrong?

    • @TheRocketman360
      @TheRocketman360  2 года назад

      In this case there are 1 of 3 things would recommend..
      1.) Make sure the rec needle is properly calibrated (as seen in this video). If the hand on that subdial is not properly calibrated, it will not show that it's receiving from the correct antenna even though it is.
      2.) Make sure you have selected a US city in the main display. Before acquiring a signal.
      3.) (This is the most common answer to your problem) if you look at the battery power/antenna sub-dial, you will notice that "USA" has a small line leading to a tick mark under it. Same thing with "EUR". When the pointer indicates which antenna it is getting its signal from, it points to the tick mark, NOT the actual letters "USA". As poor design would have it, the "USA" tick mark lines up with the lettering "EUR" this misleads many people to believe the watch is getting a signal from EUR when it's actually getting a signal from USA. So make sure you are looking at the tick mark under the lettering, and not the lettering itself.

    • @TheRocketman360
      @TheRocketman360  3 года назад

      Forgive me if my answer does not adequately answer your question, but it sounds to me like after you do a full reset the hour/minute hands on your watch go to the 10 o'clock and 3 o'clock position respectively. Is that correct? If this this the case, it sounds like you may need to perform the watch reset first, THEN do the hand alignment procedure as shown in this video. In short, hands will be considered "aligned" only when the watch is in CHR mode, with the crown pulled all the way out, and the hands in the 12 o'clock position.

      Hi there, I'm having the same issue here. My goal is to sync both my digital and hand clocks,. However, when I follow your steps in this video (crown all the way out and in CHR mode) the hands do not reset to the 12 position. Any help would be much appreciated

    How do you set it to show the date, it only seems to show the time 🤷🏽‍♂️?

    • @TheRocketman360
      @TheRocketman360  Год назад

      simply pull the crown out one click, turn it until the mode hand is over "cal" then pull the crown out the rest of the way to set the date. Once you have the proper date set, push the crown in all the way, and it will display the date in the digital display. Part 1 of this video can help with that! ruclips.net/video/Re4IR6FWz3w/видео.html

    Why did the power gauge go down?

    • @TheRocketman360
      @TheRocketman360  2 года назад

      Doing full factory resets and aligning the hands takes an abnormal amount of battery power. During the course of filming, I performed about six factory resets, so by the time I got to my final take (the video you see now) the battery had drained thus the needle dropped a little bit.

    Hi, my skyhawk utc time is 2 hours off...
    How do I fix that?

    • @TheRocketman360
      @TheRocketman360  3 года назад

      Humm, this is quite the interesting scenario. If all other time zones read correctly, and daylight savings time has been set properly, UTC time should be reading correctly. Unfortunately with out being able to see your watch, the best I can offer is this link. If the UTC time does not match the time in this link, and a full reset of the watch does not resolve this issue, you may need to send your watch to citizen for repairs. www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/timezone/utc
      I am sorry I could not be of more help😔

    My UTC dial is 4 hrs ahead than actual. How to fix it. My digital UTC IS SET to actual

    • @TheRocketman360
      @TheRocketman360  3 года назад

      This has been an interesting issue that a surprising number of people have. As of now, my research has shown me two possible options: 1) there may be a firmware update that citizen needs to perform. Unfortunately this can only be fixed at a Citizen service center. 2) Try to do a full reset first, THEN aligne all the hands. If you continue to have the issue, perform the hand alignment, but set the UTC hour hand behind 4 hours (essentially placing the UTC hour hand at the 8:00 position). This "fix" is really more of a hack job than an actual fix, but is a way to get your UTC time to read properly.
      Hope this helps!!

    What would cause the radio signal not to work. It keeps saying no when I try to get a radio signal.

    • @TheRocketman360
      @TheRocketman360  Год назад

      Good question! So this is where the watch can get a little touchy. The signal that the watch gets is very weak, so any little thing can cause it to not get a signal. If the weather is poor, if you are moving it around, or if the watch is too close to a computer or radio while trying to get a signal, it will have a hard time. Also, location has a lot to do with it as well. If the watch is trying to get a signal when in a building with a lot of medal, or if the building is next to a radio station, or even sometimes in a downtown area, it might be hard to get a signal.
      When I first got my watch, I was struggling to get a signal on it. So I waited for a night with clear skies, and took it to the middle of a Walmart parking lot, about 20 feet away from any car and it worked! Since then I have found that letting it sit next to a window at night helps a lot!

    • @garystafford3354
      @garystafford3354 Год назад

      @@TheRocketman360 I may try that. I have a newer citizen thats radio controlled and it has no problem getting a signal every night between 2 am - 3 am. I can live with it as long as it keeps accurate time. I may do a reset and see if that helps. Thank you for the fast response. And your video on this particular watch. Great job👍👍
