I appreciate Grief's enthusiasm. You don't get much off of adding another +1 to your gear (especially on armor) so it's nice to have someone there to enthusiastically affirm "IT'S STRONGER!" XD

Here's a tip, how I get them to stick, you use augments you don't like or care about losing and that you have plenty of, use 1 of them on the gear you want to get the better stuff on, hopefully it failed, do this a few times, to get the system happy that you have failed. I fail till it feels right, then I use Aug protection if I got, Success booster sometimes used if I have and 1 Aug I want to stick. And I mostly get them to stick only using 1 Aug and only losing the Aug I want to fail.

I failed 17 Lux's before the first one passed, 5 of those were 47% q.q
Indeed, the RNG is a pure mess to deal with, I honestly can't say much about Dudu shenanigans (as when I played classic PSO2 almost always ended up with Monica instead and I only got that type of luck twice... one on purpose as I was trying to get an achievement and was on a easy augment to recover) but I can sympatize with this feeling of wasting resources and on a low odd the game decides to show mercy.

I tried fixa enhance yesterday, I failes 93 times in a row and landed a termina on 94th try
I always use aug protection, every time it appears on my treasure shop I buy it right away.
Also when gambling, Idk if its just me, I found out that I have more success when the augment I use is the one I crafted myself.
I feel your pain! Although I have never been that lucky in being able to augment. I feel as if Sega's % is off by a decimal, it is more like 2% not 20%.

While i absolutely hate the augmenting system, seeing you sing the song just to be dissapointed was hilarious. Also did they add a way to transfer your augments to a new weapon yet?

that's why i make sure to get my 3 weekly "augment success rate +10%"s
@@spark9189 doesn't work on augments that only got a 7 or 8 percent chance, need those 30s and those are pretty rare.

Why I'm glad I don't change gear often and can use 3 aug + 20% + aug protect method. Saves a lot of stress from this bullsht.

Not worth it for grand dread and gladeist soul those are for glen gigist mastsa and lux helpfullnile sorry for bad spelling. The ac badge is around 100k each now you need 40 of them item protection is worth about 4m

Augging bis useless, only saves a min or two on runs. Use LC augs, then bis when actual content comes and not rinse and repeats of copy an paste.
At 27% success probability, it takes a minimum of 10 tries to have a 95% confidence of finally getting a success. In other words, you have a 95% chance of having finally succeeded after 10 tries if the success rate of each try is 27%. Of course, that still allows a 5% chance of failure, and RNG will be RNG.
At 17% success rate per try, you're looking at needing a minimum of 17 tries for 95% confidence of finally succeeding.
The RNG of this game is stupidly harsh and is coupled with some rather extreme grind, a FOMO cash shop, and some pay-to-win aspects. Add to this the lacking content, I am completely disinclined to give ANY money to this kind of game design. I just about quit playing, altogether; I had even uninstalled it a couple weeks ago. Only reason I decided to give it another chance is I saw another vid about farming 1 mil meseta an hour. That, at least, while still a hell grind, is somewhat tolerable. But, yeah, as a F2P player, this game is solidly on the shite side of the spectrum, imo. It is clearly designed primarily as a cash-grab, an electronic cosmetics casino, with only marginal hints of a game in the background.
About the only thing that keeps me in the game are the alliance I’m in, the fact I like the bow combat (I play bow braver), and I like the look I’ve been able to make for my character with just the free cosmetics available to me (though I did get a few items with meseta off the personal shop, but those are still essentially free as meseta is farmable in the game).

i have lux and i never took any chances of it failling, or halph, and the others i deemed too... meh to even bother with.. have like 50 exdi, etc i am just sitting on and highkvar domina.. i.. whats the point? imo dreadkeeper v is better than gdk, honeslty. anyway.. i'm assuming this is just a big insiders joke that im not getting lol, jbecause if i have to pay 10m+ to get it to 70% i'll do it, i'm dumb like that i guess.
This is why I quit the game months ago. Not worth the RNG. There are better things to play if you don't low-key have a gambling addiction.
