Loon Rescue

Loon landed in Dix Pond, Ann Arbor, and was unable to leave because the pond was not large enough. After a failed attempt with a landing on the shore, birders took quick action and carried it in a towel up to a waiting car where it was transported to Barton Pond, a much larger body of water where Common Loons have stopped before.
