Thank you everyone for saving our most precious Bald Eagle. A young one at that, being a sub-adult about 3.5 years old. You gave Wolf a future to a beautiful life. I am forever grateful for all the fine work you do.
My coworker lives next to a river and shared this story. There were two people in a canoe fishing, and they'd been out there for hours with no luck. An American bald eagle dove into the water next to the canoe, and flew out with a fish in its beak. My co-worker said the people started swearing so loudly he could hear it from the shoreline; co-worker thought it was funny.
YOO I had a very similar experience, it was so cool!! we were fishing right near the nest and he just swooped down to the water, grabbed a fish with his talons and flew back to his nest! He was a papa and he had two little chicks with his mate :))
@@spicybrown75 well it gave everyone on the boat an rush of adrenallin since we’ve never seen an eagle so close before! we were all so hyped we didnt care if the eagle scared the fish off for a bit lol
Just here to say unless it was a minnow or the eagle was a cormorant the bird carried the fish in it's talons. It would be idiocy for an eagle swooping at that speed into water to stick it's head in, that's why their legs are that powerful and non-booted is to break the water tension and grab the fish without changing trajectory.
Wow! She’s extraordinary. So grateful that she was brought in and rescued and that you were able to surgically repair her wing. Hats off 🎩 to you& all those at the rehab, those who brought her in and everyone who participated in her care. You rock! To the wildlife, we owe a simple respect.
They wouldn't be able to do that if they wouldn't be supported by the government and welfare organizations. So I guess we're all going to be a bit in that special place.

Hello from the USA! My apartment is right next to a river and behind a lake and during the Winter, we get to see so many of them just from the comforts of home. These birds are HUGE and so majestic. 😶🌫️🥰
@@courtneygrier2015, thank you so much, it must be a honor to see these majestic birds from your Apartment. In times when people and States want to go to war again this brings hope to me. There are still people at this planet with a good heart. And I think the rescue of this Eagle might be a symbol for all of us. So why can we people at this Planet not work together? We will be more and more people, so we all must come together!
I've no words to describe my gratitude to you all as you've made this magic moment to this Eagle.
Just so you know, the eagle is Germany's national bird as well. 😘
Greeting from your neighbors in the Netherlands.

This definitely brought tears to my eyes. Thank God people like this exist that have the skills and knowledge to help save lives.
These people are called doctors. And it's great that they have the oath of hippocrates that encourages them to help every person and also every animal.
How about not shooting damn ducks? That's how she got messed up
@@whitealliance9540
Also, the extensive usage of rat and mouse poison is what's the biggest threat for birds of prey in Europe. Maybe in the US, too. So its usage should also be subject to regulation.

Eagles are so beautiful, I'm glad that she got better
Thank you everyone for saving our most precious Bald Eagle. A young one at that, being a sub-adult about 3.5 years old. You gave Wolf a future to a beautiful life. I am forever grateful for all the fine work you do.
Might well be why the bone healed so well. I had my suspicions.
@@sayosweeti5757 but I bet you didn't throw a tantrum like those 2 "fishermen" 😁
Indeed, most people don't know that the bald eagle is a sea eagle.
That was beautiful the way she stopped after she was released and turned round to look back as if to say thank you. 👍
she really did
Que belleza!!!
Wow! She’s extraordinary. So grateful that she was brought in and rescued and that you were able to surgically repair her wing. Hats off 🎩 to you& all those at the rehab, those who brought her in and everyone who participated in her care. You rock! To the wildlife, we owe a simple respect.
Thank you, Dr. Cliff, and the rehab center, for taking care of Wolf. She is such a majestic beauty!🥰
She stopped and looked back “thank you humans!” There’s a very special place in Heaven for people who rescue and rehabilitate wildlife.
They wouldn't be able to do that if they wouldn't be supported by the government and welfare organizations. So I guess we're all going to be a bit in that special place.
Right like “oh damn no warm enclosure to practice flying in… we done?” She’s not done healing. I teared up a bit at this. Glad people care about eagles I guess.
"For that tasty finger"
More like, "Thank GOD I got away from those weird hairless apes. They smell funny!"
She's a very dangerous raptor and she is beautiful. My eyes were watery too after seeing her flying to freedom. Great video and story. 😊👍❤
Thats why we all should go vegan
Who eats eagles?
@@rebmosher5512 No one because apparently we are able to show empathy towards some animals but not the others. Show it to all like those people showed it to the eagle.
@@niedermitderjagd1968 why animals can eat animals but humans can't tho? Some animals god created them for getting eaten and other things
@@brumbrumroma Because we dont need to eat them and we have one ability animals lack: empathy. Why deprive yourself from your evolutionary ability to show living beings empathy? God gave you that, so why not use it? Even Jesus tought you compassion.
Thank you to all who saved her. What a majestic gift! An honor! She definitely won’t forget you either.
What a beautiful bird wolf is. So glad she is back out in the wild. 🦅💙🦅
Bald Eagle: "Just because you fixed me up, Doc, doesn't mean we're going to hold hands and sing songs together."

@Laper Wolf ummm what do you mean whit this?🤨🙄😒
@@Bian_ky It's a loose reference to an old Clint Eastwood movie. He's a Marine and when one of his team saves him he response with something like this. Not quite the right wording but close. The eagle taking a nip at the vet reminded me of that scene.

She was still a juvenile, based on the coloring. Maybe 3-4 years old. Statistically, already a survivor among eagles, to make it thus far. Beautiful bird.
I love how she turns back and looks back at them of the 'Thank You' look. And takes off and flies away💜
She just said thankyou may god bless you always
Props to the duck hunters who realized their mistake and phoned for help - less scrupulous people would've just ran and left her there.
But they kill the ducks??
@@onthedamsquare Because they're hunters. It doesn't mean they have to be dicks.
Hey, Duck is pretty good tasting too. As long as nothing goes to absolute waste.
Pretty sure they wouldn't have just outright left her like that. Afaik it's even forbidden by law and bound with very heavy fines if you hurt one of them.
Bet the ducks dont think the hunters are heros
Dr.Cliff seems like a wonderful vet and so caring to save her. She showed her appreciation with a goodbye bite! 🤣

We saw a Barn Owl struggling to fly. We brought it home and nursed it back to health. When we released it, it did the same thing. It looked back at us as if to say "thank you". Then it flew away and disappeared on the other side of the lake.

*How the hell does one mistake a Gigantic Bald Eagle for a duck? Sounds like a few to many beers might have been involved that day...*
The first thing I said... HOW?
Hunters don't know anything about nature.
Yeah, when I saw the size and knowing how both birds move and fly I'm a bit surprised at the misidentification. After all the eagles big enough it could carry two small ducks as parasite fighters. Methinks a little too much redneck petrol, either that or a newbie that just blasted away at anything with feathers.. At least they had the honesty to get the bird in a safe place and treated, and I do *not* envy them trying to pick it up and get it boxed.
Yeah MORONS
And how good are these duck hunters?
Eagles are very fast when it comes to flying casually.
