As a really petite girl and yoga instructor trying to toughen up my core, I've tried a ton of ab workouts, and yours are certainly one of the best. I love that you're mindful enough to incorporate breaks but still able to maintain the challenge. I broke a nice sweat and feel amazing - endorphin overload!!!

Imma record my journey cause it seems to work for people: me: 4’10, 96 pounds, goal is flatter stomache toned abs. (My period is in like less then 3 days so i do very low intensity workouts on period days but anyway,,) PLEASE COMMENT ON THIS COMMENT SO I DONT LOSE IT ❤❤ Day 1-✅ i overall have a decent core strength already wasn’t too hard but did sweat a little!! Day 2-✅ very sore from yesterday but always remember to stretch! I feel like it was harder today, idk if I’m being delulu but it has already toned my upper abs a bit! I do a leg workout before this and I do 10 pushups to finish my workout! See ya tomorrow! Day 3-✅ still sore but stretching morning and before workout helps. I pick 2 or 3 days a week to do 2 ab workouts and today is one of them Day 4- Day 5- Day 6- Day 7- Day 8- Day 9- Day 10- it’s my goal to make it to day 10
Usually lifting your head and shoulders can help with 2 things: ● it can help you to have more of an ability to lower the legs a little more without the lower back coming up off the floor. ● and it can also increase the intensity a little bit because now, instead of just using the abs to hold up the lower half of the body, your abs are also holding up a small portion of the upper body
@cassidyguarino8574 Thank you. I have an injury - discs c1 through c7 - and elevating my head aggravates my neck so I was hoping it didn't matter. I figured it would be beneficial to elevate my neck for the reasons you explained. Thank you so much for answering. :)
@@MR-cy6jn Yaa if lifting your head is something that puts you at risk of an injury than definitely don't worry about it! Your still gonna get a lot out of the excersise with your head down. As long as your legs are as low as you can possibly get them, WITHOUT your lower back coming off the floor.

Best thing to do is... To diet and stick to other bodily exercises.. working out your legs will only bulk them up more

Don´t cheat the leg raises by holding hands under butt! - Out with hands/arms or have hands folded behind neck for better effect on abs.
