Lover, there will be another one
To hover over you beneath the sun
Tomorrow see the things
that never come today
When you see me fly away without you
Shadow on the things you know
Feathers fall around you
And show you the way to go
It's over
It's over
Nestle in your wings my little one
A special morning brings another sun
Tomorrow see the things
that never come today
When you see me fly away without you
Shadow on the things you know
Feathers fall around you and
show you the way to go
It's over
It's over
Ok, I'll admit it. I never thought I'd come near anyone who could give even a pause to the singing of Linda Ronstadt.
So, should you ever find yourself sleeping on a winters ground, hold her voice close to your heart.
This song has to rate as one of her very best.
But so underrated
I am so glad that I live in this world, as songs such as this one are part of my history and past, and I belong to this era. I feel it passing, though, which is why I want to point it out...
Nobody sings like her i have all her albums to bad it took the idiots 30yrs to put her rock and roll hall of fame. I was heart broken when i found out she had parkinson disease
I agree with ya about Linda. I really like her early recordings for Capitol Records, both solo and with the Stone Poneys. This Neil Young cover is awesome! and wow those heavenly guitars!
GREAT TUNE! Happy 63rd to Linda today 7-14-09 Wed! I'll try to play as much of her 28 CD's as I can today!!!
She made it to 75! Hope she knows how much her talent is still being appreciated and enjoyed. Never saw her live so videos like this are just golden to me.
I love the guy at the end screaming "More! More!"
Yes!
I love you Linda Ronstadt!
Perfection.
A great Neil Young song and a great cover of it. She's a once-in-a-lifetime talent!
Dan Dugmore on pedal steel guitars makes this song so memorable.
It's Sneaky Pete
PM's Far-Out Grooviness I guess it wasn’t THAT memorable!
Just told someone about this song. I wonder if she'll listen & love it too.
Linda! Linda! Linda! When are you going to be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame?
inducted 2014, so probably just around the time of your comment.
very fine-
Linda will be 65 next month!
She'll be 75 July 15th! So happy we still have her. Pray she can bare the trials of her day.
Keep coming back to this song...
great version of this by valerie carter.
I mean, it's live as recorded on the album, but not a video clip of her singing in concert, as I was expecting...
Great song, Linda is the best, but this is not "Live". C'mon now...
I love the guy at the end screaming "More! More!"
