I love the original and it’s dark lavender musky quality… But it definitely could have used a flanker…
my opinion it was too soon to do an ocean edp flanker without even making a luna carbon edp or prada black edp first…. prada was jumping ahead trying to sell ocean as their best smelling fragrance
Facts, they made a flanker of their worst Prada Luna Rossa lmao, it's not a bad scent but it doesn't compare to Prada black, carbon, or even sport.
I really like this and will have no problem wearing this on all but the hottest summer days. Like most of the Luna Rosa line, it smells so much better floating in the air than up close. Performance is really good.
Great video! I just received my bottle yesterday! It’s really good. I liked the EDT also. I sort of get a hint of Armani Code Absolu minus that dry suede note.

Appreciate the review Chris! Interesting about that piece of Code. Luckily there's a ton of wood and vanilla ice creams in the ocean so the name fits. Maybe they couldn't name it Reborn since Davidoff used it for their Cool Water flanker the year before? Anyway all these nautical puns are giving me a sinking feeling and stern demeanor. Perhaps I'll just wait for a sail? ⛵ Boom.

I would say it you like wearing spicy sweet fragrances in the summer then this would be more approachable as opposed to something like Layton. It has a clean smoothness to it that I like after the grapefruit dies off, which happens very quickly. I picture standing in the middle of food trailers at seaside and getting whiffs of funnel cake and ocean night air.

Ok just got it , this is Freaking Awesome, Beautiful Scent Profile, and perfect for the Summer. A 9 out of 10.
Smells like a softer smoother Italian style Bleu de Chanel. I like it a lot.
Yesterday I was wearing Guerlain L'omme Ideal Cologne and ended up at a Macy's. They had this out on display for testing and I put it on my hand and walked around for a bit. I know it's probably unfair to compare the two, but the Prada was completely underwhelming by comparison. I like the Prada Luna Rossa line, but thought the original Ocean was on the bottom for me personally, and I'd put the EDP right there with it. It just wasn't that exciting.
This one actually reminds me of ATH Hard Candy a bit in the opening and mid!

I'm about to buy the edt but then the edp came out. I haven't had the chance to test the edp yet. Which one do you like better, edt or edp?
@@shaunphan9039 I just tested it today, I wouldn't be able to tell it's ocean.
To me it's an entirely different perfume, I got Ocean because it was ocean. I don't know what that sweet EDP ocean is.

For me the edt just smells better it smells nicer in the air and more masculine. The edp for me smells dull and just sweet.

Lol Chris. The name clearly doesn't fit the fragrance but its a definite improvement over the EDT. It actually reminded me of the vanilla in the sadly discontinued Luna Rossa Extreme.
Is the skin scent “woody vanilla” at all like Dior Uomo Intense? I perceive that one as very vanilla and woods

Didn't like the EDT, just got the EDP and love it. I mostly pick the amber with some vanilla. Honestly sexy, my wife loved it.

It might just be me, but I feel like this is two parts ocean edt, two parts Layton and one part code all mixed together. There was something I cannot put my finger on in the EDT that smelled good, but was just way, way too much. That smell is toned way back in this and it’s quickly becoming one of my favorite smells and it’s great for days at work that I don’t want to wear Layton.

In my opinion it smells alot similar to 1 Million, Code Profumo and Invictus Victory but more grapefruity, though the name Ocean is very wrong here 😂 smells not like a the raw ocean nor woody pine shores that you would think of by ocean.

I'm wearing it now and I get like a lavender vibe....I don't know if its just a mental thing but I do get this blue-ish lavender scent.
Ralph’s Club Parfum smells almost too close to Armani Code, which Luna Rossa Ocean smells very similar to as well. There’s a lot of copying going on in the designer world, and these three are an example.
Ralph's Club EDP Smells close to Y EDP/Parfum as well.
Agree there's a lot of copying going on, but respectfully disagree that Armani Code smells like the new Prada Ocean.
I have the Armani Code Parfum (2022) and it's masculine, fresh, powdery (iris) and long lasting. I've tested Ocean EDP twice, and it after the first 15 mins it becomes a smooth vanillic yet clean smell IMO.

Let's clear things up. Ocean stands for Clean not Fresh. And it is very clean smelling. Not out of the shower type of clean.
And if you want to smells like clean and demanding the Ocean is a good choice.

Just tried it today. I definitely like the EDT much,.much better.
This one feels like another boring ultra sweet uninspired modern scent similar to others like Invictus Victory or Born in Roma Coral Fantasy.
I ll defintely pass.

Tbh, did not like it at all, smells very chemical, generic and plasticky on the dry down. Even though I like L’Homme very much. As there is no such place as Homme.
Can´t understand why men are running around smelling like a woman....I have seen thousands of reviews and street tests and most girls do not like all those hyped sweet vanilla bombs on men. Dior homme intense, Tom Ford JPG and more... Girls say it´s too feminine and want to wear it themselves and they like fresh clean spicy woody scents on a man. When i got Prada Black my female friend said it was too sweet for her taste so i guess i will never fall for the hype again and trust my instincts when i blind buy stuff.
