    My 30 Popular Southeast Asian Recipes Series is coming close to an End. Part 29 out of 30. Hope you guys have been enjoying this. Twenty-Ninth on My List is Cured Fermented Pork Sausage | Som Moo | Nem Chua | Nam
    For those who never had this. The Flavors are Savory, Tangy, with the Perfect amount of Saltiness. So Delicious with Rice or Sticky Rice. I enjoy this with Chili Pepper per bite.
    Taste very Similar to Ham in My Opinion. Just with More Texture from the Shredded Pork Skin.
    Recipe:
    2 Oz of Jasmine Rice
    1 1/2 of Pork (crucial, remove fat)
    2 Tbsp of MSG
    1 Tsp of Sea Salt
    2 Tsp of Sugar
    5-7 Garlic Cloves (Smashed)
    1 Package of Nam Powder Seasoning Mixed
    8 oz of Pork Skin (I used packaged and ones that I cooked myself).
    Instructions 📝
    1. Rinse Pork Skin in Cold Water 3-4 Times.
    2. Add a little Vinegar. Clean Well. Strain. Thinly Sliced.
    * If using Raw Pork Skin. Cook for 15-20 Mins. Use same cleaning method above.
    3. Let this dry out.
    4. Add No Fat Ground Pork to a Mixing Bowl.
    5. Add Nam Sausage Seasoning Mix. Sea Salt, Sugar, MSG, Smashed Garlic and Cooked Rice.
    6. Knead Fillings for 10-12 Minutes until Fillings until Firm.
    7. Roll Desired Amount of Fillings in a Log Tight in Plastic Wrap.
    8. Place in Tubberware. Or Second Method is to Vacuum Seal.
    9. Let this Ferment at Room Temperature for Three Days.
    10. Refrigerate once Completely.
    *Chilies, and Garlic is Optional.
