You need to get this thing I got for my car. It is a cover that goes over the outside of your windshield and then you just take it of the next day or whenever and your window is clean. It also comes with a extendable brush/scraper combo!! It has changed my life as far as snowy or icy winter mornings!! Stay warm and safe!!

Thanks for being safety conscious.I appreciate people who clean off their entire vehicle. I was hit by frozen snow and ice off another vehicles roof and it shattered my wind shield. I was lucky it wasn't worse. My friend was hit by a snowplow...the munchie eater!

I just got back from my first (three-day) Smokey mountain camping trip in my recently purchased Element. Would love to see some content on getting in and out of the Element when going to bed. I’m not as nimble as I used to be and found it awkward reaching, opening and closing the side doors. My rear hatch has an inside lever installed that I could not get to work and would have make things much easier. Trying to figure it all out. Stay warm.

That Philly cheese steak looked amazing! The snow is beautiful, but I don’t like the cold. The drive reminds me of when I used to live in Northern California in a little town called Placerville the visits to Lake Tahoe were always great fun.
Nice video. I'm not quite ready to get on snow mode just yet but soon. It's fun to find the sweet spot in winter weather and many people don't know there's a thin line between great and miserable.
Having grown up in the big city, after graduating high school, I helped some friends move back home to central Oregon. I was offered a job in a local lumber mill and lived there for about 6 months. Hiking in the mountains, picking blackberries along the local creek, day trips to the coast, keg parties on weekends was a whole new experience after growing up in the suburbs of So Cal. Great memories from times past. I would love to try a veggie Philly cheese steak if I could get it on a gluten free bun. Sorry about the Phillies loss. I can't remember the last Dodger game I attended, but I am pretty sure that Koufax or Drysdale was the starting pitcher.
I don't eat meat either and that philly oyster shroom steak sandwich looked BOMB! I am going to have to try that out. Stay safe out there Elrond and Rosa!

@lifeinmyelement thanks, Rosa. I've always used all season tires myself, which aren't ideal, but they work ok as long as you adjust for conditions. When it's time for new tires, you may want to consider Toyo Celsius tires, which are all weather (instead of all season) as they're rated for winter conditions but can be driven year round.
That is really nice snow. You're so dedicated to getting all the camera angles in any weather. :) Anyway, at Lake Tahoe, we got our first snow; but at lake level, it was a wet, slushy, unimpressive, unlovely frozen mix. LOL. I can't wait for the fluffy stuff. Hey, if my sports team was in the playoffs, I'd pay whatever it takes to see/hear the game live. I feel ya. Sorry about the loss. I feel ya there too. In contrast, the Tarp Scenes were comedy gold. :)

Snowbird, I am so envious of you now getting to play in the snow like that. So cool to see snow so early in the season. Random question… do you keep a storage for your winter gear or does it get held at your parents house? Also what do you do inside your vehicle to prepare you for winter travel/camping/adventures? I’m starting to see a lot of creators winterizing their vehicles.
Nah, I don't really have much winter gear! Just chains, spikes, jacket, boots! I keep everything in my car because my parents are on the other side of the country! And I don't have to winterize my vehicle! It's just a normal car 😊

You need one of those long handled ice scrapers with the brush on one side and the scraper on the other. Best invention ever.

Snowbird, I am so envious of you now getting to play in the snow like that. So cool to see snow so early in the season. Here in Virginia it's 82 today and then on Halloween it's going to be in the 50's :(. I love the snow :) Be careful and have tons-o-fun. Are you ever going to come this way to the east coast? It seems like there are many more places to visit and stay on the west coast than here. A long handle squeegee works great at moving snow from the car. Better than a brush.

Random question… do you keep a storage for your winter gear or does it get held at your parents house? Also what do you do inside your vehicle to prepare you for winter travel/camping/adventures? I’m starting to see a lot of creators winterizing their vehicles.
Nah, I don't really have much winter gear! Just chains, spikes, jacket, boots! I keep everything in my car because my parents are on the other side of the country! And I don't have to winterize my vehicle! It's just a normal car 😊
