Today I played the new Resident Evil 4 VR and I had a blast. It's truly amazing what they were able to do with this game. Resident Evil 4 plays a big part on this channel, in fact my first video to ever blow up was an RE4 challenge, so I'm so happy I was given early access to one of my favourite games of all time.

Yes, this. Especially if he does them in the story format instead of the adlibbing. The physical comedy of aiming wherever he wants and the hand gestures are a great addition.

If you think about it, the fact that a game from the early 2000s has managed to stay this relevant and get a vr adaption is amazing. This looks like so much fun. Holding two weapons, caressing the merchant, I can't wait to get this.

Hands down the most enjoyable play through of re4 VR on youtube ever.
You can have a shotgun in one hand and another gun in the other? Speedruns of this version are gonna be nuts lol

Speed runs just run past all the unnecessary enemies.
Re4 vr will have to have its own speed run side apart from other speed run because the games mechanics is alot different with the fuel wield and running with knive instead of stationary
Would be like comparing king of fighters 2002 vanilla and 2002 um which is like 2 different games because of the mega changes unlike 98 and 98 um

I just finished playing through RE4 VR, and it was absolutely enjoyable. I loved it and it was the first game I really enjoyed in VR. Also to use the scope, just hold the rifle with two hands as you would in real life and bring the scope up to your eye, it automatically goes into scope mode lol. Funny video man

I just played 2 hours straight of this game, and it’s a fantastic port, it’s not like Skyrim vr where you don’t even have hands or physical interactions, you need two mods. This port I just fucking awesome.
This looks like the most fun game of 2021, truly incredible.

@@Creed606 just got done with a 3 hour session. Haven’t been this immersed in a game since… ever. The best game of all-time ported over to vr. The only stretch would be to say it’s not the game of the year

Men this looks amazing! only downside I can imagine is that Leon is super fast to avoid almost all damage, but that is only my guess.
Yeah it's very easy compared to other versions, you feel like a god. Aiming and moving at full speed at the same time is a big deal.
It makes you feel like ADA though.
Try it on professional (after you beat the game one time) and without the gun laser.
Ups the difficulty enough to be challenging and fun. (Although it is fun on any setting lol)
Yes and no u will still get damaged it is easier in some parts but u gotta remember when u have to watch Ashley it gets more difficult always has been a pain protecting her, also the cabin defense part and the water palace is still not as easy especially if u play in immersive weapons mode which I am doing, I am currently at the Salazar maze it’s been a wild ride but fun asf.
I actually have never laughed so hard at a Dante playthrough.

I love how you are the only youtuber that didn’t pick the teleport mode and use the walk. Any chance there will be challenges you will do on the VR or on Resident 8?
For how awesome this looks, it seems like the game is mechanically broken. The Ai is completely overwhelmed by the fact that the player can move freely and shoot how they please. I was a little pissed that oculus only released this on the quest 2, but now that i see gameplay, i really don't think i'm missing out.
Ive played for about 2-3 hours now just got past the house scene. I would say that the ai actually works quite well and isnt as bad as it looks in the videos. The troll and fish boss fights were actually very fun as well. The game looks a bit janky but works fine

It’s actually a blast. Your advanced movement does make you more OP than ever before, but it’s still insanely fun. I mean the Wii port had the same issue, aiming was so easy it made the game that much easier. But tons of people say they think the Wii version is more fun than the standard controller

There’s a classic Leon mode where you can only for forward and backwards in the direction you’re facing which makes it more difficult and true to the original.
I’m enjoying the regular play through it’ll be lit when Dante does challenges

You hear that? That's the sound of a man who recovered his will to play RE4, can't wait for challenges in the VR version, you can even now move as you meant when you were describing the scene
I don't know about this game being everything Dante said, but one thing is for sure, this is now the way to watch some challenges. The hand gestures, the aiming wherever he wants, it adds so much to the humor through physical comedy. Dante, you have to redo at least some of your old challenges through story videos in VR, please please please.

I've never had any interest in vr at all, even after having played it multiple times at my friend's insistence, but this looks incredible. I just might have to get it, honestly it looks so exciting to play through one of my favorite games ever with an entirely new experience. Damn.

Since the very time i lay my eyes on these RE4 VR gameplay and saw how fast the knife is and how fast you move, it'll be very cash money of you to run a Knife Only no damage run.
I love this game. I think it's really cool how you can dual wield your handgun and secondary firearm.

Not sure if you figured out the sniper yet but to use the scope you just move it really close to your eye/headset.

Just the fact that your name is Dante made me think about the fact that if they really wanted to, they could possibly make the first devil may cry in Vr as well, especially since that game had a lot of unused textures and stuff from RE4, idk why I want it so bad but having my 2 All time favorite games both have vr support would be so cool to see, ESPECIALLY because they are related in multiple ways such as they are owned by capcom and also are basically made from the same textures.
