- I finally got around to adding a new radio to my S2000. The installation was pretty simple and straight forward. The hardest part is routing the wires throughout the cash and keeping everything tucked away and clean. Overall it is a very easy job to do and i recommend it to all S2000 owners.

Products I used:
Modifry DCI: www.modifry.com/index.php?rout...
Modifry Harness: www.modifry.com/index.php?rout...
Head Unit: www.crutchfield.com/p_158GS82...
This video is so on time. This is the headunit I was looking for.
Great video for the AP2. I just installed a Pioneer DEH-6010BS with the Metra ASWC-1 - Steering Wheel Control in my 2007 S-2000. All went well and sounds great.
Left side the sound control still work ?
Any updates on how you wired everything together? I just picked up the DCI and the harness for my head unit and im always cautious when working with electrical stuff. Just wanna make sure i do it right the first time lol.
Thanks for the video. I am about to do the same thing with my 2007 s2000. Does the Modifry Harness connect the new stereo to the roll hoop speakers?
Great video literally have the same set up. One question do you have a video for the wiring with the dci?
Good Video!
Thanks for the vid
Curious how you ran the mic wire. Did you remove any panels to feed the wire?
Left side the sound control still work ?
is there an adapter that you can just plug and play instead of clipping wires
Thanks for the detailed guide! I used your video a lot during my install
I have a question, if the previous stereo I have already had a harness and if the new stereo fits the harness perfectly, does that mean I don’t have to do the wiring?
TrippieJuann if the radio connects to the harness and works properly then I think you lucked out on a free harness Haha
sir_dannyv thank you for answering, I’ll update you on what happen
Thanks
Hi mate, great video. :) Do you have any update/review on the HU? Has it been working out for you?
Juno Kwak I have the full review coming out Friday. Overall I'm very happy with this head unit though.
@@dverdin55 Awesome! I'll be on the lookout for the new video this week. Thanks!
Juno Kwak Hey! I just wanted to give you an update on the video. I forgot to mention two features about the radio in the video so I went and re did a section of the video. The video will be live tomorrow at 10 am PST instead so be on the look out 👍🏽
Nice!! Thanks for the update!
Btw, I saw an installation note in Crutchfield website that they recommend running a dedicated constant power wire to the battery for optimal performance. Did you have to do this?
Do you have to remove the center console to take the radio out for the ap1 too or is it just for the ap2
Not too sure. You might have to on an Ap1 but you have to on an Ap2
I have same headunit Modifry didn’t have the harness ? What would your suggestion be
They have a genetic harness that works with their dci. I ended up just buying their generic harness and Sony dci. The harness has everything you need to make it work with your car. All you need to do is put it together.
Thanks man 🏎
