Watching LHT videos is part of my daily routine. I love you guys! Awesome content all the time. Also at 7:22 George is sitting in the silver s2000 with red interior after the exhaust install. I had to look at it a few times, cause it looks like George is 15 years old in the clip LOL. Keep up the good work guys!
Thank you for all the amazing content I subscribed right before I bought my s2k about 8 years ago!! I just received my shifter foam insulation for the s2k I got the order super fast only two days and i'm in California.
Would you consider doing a video on suggested tools for DIY on our S2000s? It would be nice to hear your opinion on different tools and brands that work well with the S2000.
@@LHTPerformance Ya that'd be perfect. Maybe suggestions for those on a budget vs those with more money to spend and those with smaller vs larger garages too.
Dang, sad that I can’t make it to the dragon this year. Didn’t get done on my GSR what I wanted to get done, and don’t have any lodging lined up. Hope to make next year.
Gotta disagree on the battery replacement "just because its never fun when they die". I bought an AP1 in 2011. I'm Canadian, so our winters are cold. I've generally left it in the car so I can start it once a month and keep some oil on the moving parts. I keep the battery on a tender when it needs it. I still have the same OEM battery I bought it with. 13 years. I've had plenty of batteries die on my Tundra's and 4runner's since then from general use. Replacing a battery without just cause is pointless.
@@Wallstreetavarice Planning a trip into the mountains that on a good day has very little cell reception, with very few parts stores ( No Honda dealers) I’d like to make sure things are covered. Based on almost 30 years of building cars in Florida, we see enough batteries fail around 4-5 years. The heat seems to be very hard on them. I like eliminate a potential break downs when I can. Wasting vacation time looking for jump cables and a new battery when it can be avoided isn’t pointless to me. I’ve been there done that enough times. lol.
just found your channel... sweet content. I'm presently struggling with an EPS light on my 03 AP1 (32k miles). Any recommendations on how to reset or find an EPS replacement module?
I'm jealous, cause I can't be at dragon 😂 If not in 2024, then hopefully latest in 2025. Need to figure out how to get my car over there or rent a proper one there. Enjoy the Dragon with the CRX 🍻💪
What about the timing chain and those things mine has around 130k miles try to do diff trans and brakes once a year belt depends on how it looks and pulleys if they sound rough My battery just go for 2.5 to 3 years max
The timing chain and guides don’t really have issues. We’ve seen them with 200+K miles are still not real wear. Long interval oil changes are the biggest problem. Timing chain tensioner and valves are the first to show issues.
@@LHTPerformancegood to know.. I have an '02 ap1 with 110,000 kms on it... I did the dealer 100, 000km service, 5 years ago. So that means I got another 20 years left ..😉

See you there! Save me a small shirt!

@@SteveoFilipino Yes. I should do that. I’ve had Snap on, Matco, Stanley, craftsman etc. I’d be happy to show what we use on a daily basis.

Unfortunately I have a mandatory work weekend on Oct. 7th and 8th and can’t make it. Work always seems to get in the way of fun! Grrrr
No worries bud. Go make that money
Dang! I’ll be there the week after. Hoping for some good colors 🍂
I'll be with you in spirit. Made a small order today, but you are out of cheap sunglasses. ZZ Top would not approve!

I love my headlamp. only two minor issues I've experienced...1. gets a little warm on the noggin 2. bugs flying in my face if I work at night
Yea , I noticed after a while it gets a little warm. One thing it doesn’t weight much so doesn’t make you tire after 15 minutes or so
Head band lights are awesome need a little adjustments if you have bi-focal glasses 😂

Follow the Honda sequence to confirm it’s an EPS module first as they are pricey now.
Oh I wanna go to Dragon again. It's been 10+ years and a different S2000 ago
199k miles on original clutch scares me though lol
I'm at 160k on original. How high is the grab point on your clutch pedal at this point?
@@chachacamel pretty high, but not horrible.... 199,4XX now
That's great, mine feels like it's right at the top, but it still grabs hard on gear changes@@naturalsr405

Tentatively looking forward to seeing what horrors you film at Butt Crack Creek this year 😯😁.
Lol. We’ll for sure be swinging by that ‘ borderline PG13 ‘River 🤣🤣🤣
awesome!
did you ever find the little rubber bushing on the dipstick? I bought a new dipstick but it is not as good quality as the original dipstick.
I haven’t, we still need to experiment
What resonator do you replace on the invidia?
Just a heads up, the lower nob on the store, looks like it has a dent/is low quality. You may want to redo the website pic.
Thanks buddy. I took the picture in bad lighting. I’ll get better ones tomorrow
I have the q300 on my 9th gen si it is the bees knees
I got the HKS SSM exhaust in box....recomended?
Unless it’s turbo charged, most exhaust are just for sound. Until you hit 400+ WHT. There’s very little horsepower and an exhaust on the S2000
As an S2000 owner (AP2) it still sounds like a Honda :/
