They still tour! Saw them at a major local concert venue a couple years back. Not as well attended as some others, I've been to at the same aphitheater, but one of the best acts I've seen and best audiences I've been in. And they've STILL FREAKING GOT IT.

I've seen many a clip of amateurs on drums or guitars just shredding like bosses, but for prominent musicians who have left their mark on music history, Nancy is a longtime veteran and is much more skilled than she displays in their/her tunes. Her overall command of the guitar is actually quite high tier.

Did you guys see the Kennedy Center Honors Award ceremony from 2012? Heart played Stairway to Heaven, and the members of Zeppelin were in attendance. They all 3 were in awe of their version. A lot of great acts came together that night to honor Zeppelin. They were all great but Heart was amazing.
Yes, there are a couple of places where it's obvious although I'm actually amazed at how well it was edited. I heard that the sound on the live version was screwed up so they overlaid the studio version.

Sometimes bands were obviously miming / lip syncing for these types of promotional or television spots, sometimes they were really playing and studio tracks were dubbed over the top. I just wanted to point out that he wasn't really listening to a live performance, which might not be obvious if you aren't familiar with the original studio work.

Did you guys see the Kennedy Center Honors Award ceremony from 2012? Heart played Stairway to Heaven, and the members of Zeppelin were in attendance. They all 3 were in awe of their version. A lot of great acts came together that night to honor Zeppelin. They were all great but Heart was amazing.

Yes, there are a couple of places where it's obvious although I'm actually amazed at how well it was edited. I heard that the sound on the live version was screwed up so they overlaid the studio version.
@@ninline2000 I'm certainly not trying to complain, like Dean alluded to above, this kind of stuff has been standard promotional practice since at least the 1960s. Sometimes bands were obviously miming / lip syncing for these types of promotional or television spots, sometimes they were really playing and studio tracks were dubbed over the top. I just wanted to point out that he wasn't really listening to a live performance, which might not be obvious if you aren't familiar with the original studio work.
