Excellent demo on hitting hybrids Glen! I carry a 3 hybrid with a 20 degree loft. I like your recommendation of thinking "brushing the grass in front of the ball" in hitting the hybrid. I am now using this "thought process" on irons and fairway woods. Maybe this will eliminate my "fat and skinny" shots from off of the fairway. I'm really enjoying your videos! Keep them coming!!!!
Thanks John. We love hearing your feedback and how we help you improve. Here’s more on flushing those fairway woods: STOP TOPPING FAIRWAY WOODS - 3 Steps to Hitting off the Grass ruclips.net/video/P0P6B41FUWY/видео.html
Just picked up my first hybrid ever got the ZX 2 hybrid. Unfitted but the shaft is similar to what I was fitted for in my ZX7 driver and 5 wood. Was amazed at how easy it was to hit, makes me want to put more in the back for that end of the bag.
Hey Glen and Steve, Another Informative Video. I have always struggled hitting my Hybrids left. I prefer my high lofted Fairway Woods. Keep up the great videos. Cheers Joe
Hi Joe. You’re not alone! I used to play the Titty 910H and had too much draw. The Srixon ZX was easier to control with just the soft draw. Cheers, Glen
Brilliant! Thanks Glen. I’ve just put 3 hybrids in my bag, a 17,20 and 23 degree. I love the 20 and 23 but have a harder time hitting the 17 pure. I often end up taking a big divot but it’s more reliable than my 3 wood. Maybe I have too much weight forward? Anyway, love the videos mate. Cheers, Steve
Thanks for your message Steve. Which model did you go for? Yes, sounds like you’re a bit steep if you’re taking big divots. Try this drill using the 17° & 23° - ruclips.net/video/Euq-IGuYzwQ/видео.html
Hi LG. Thank you for your question. It’s tricky to answer without seeing you play the shot. My immediate reaction is to ask: ‘Which part of the club is striking the golf ball?’ If it’s a toe contact or a ‘skied heel’ shot, this could cause the hooked 5 hybrid. Check this out with a couple of long tees with this gate drill: ruclips.net/video/o8yDxhLYESk/видео.html - You can also see where the grass is mashed against the clubface. Let’s continue our analysis after we have some more information. Cheers Glen

Wonderful feedback John, thank you so much! 🙏
Got fitted yesterday for a srixon 19 degree hit better than all the other big brands.
I’m sure you’ll love the ZX 19 Jon!

Great lessons. 👍
Thanks for your feedback D Licious!
I went away from hybrids because I had trouble hitting it left . I play a driving iron atm . I mite need to retry a hybrid.
Thanks for checking in Jason. They are generally easier to draw.
good video mate !
Thanks JDDD33!
Hi Glen. When I use a 5 hybrid out of long grass it hooks left severely. Would I just keep the hands forward of the ball to stop this?

Pity the manufacturers usually make these with a draw bias. Just go left for me.
Some hybrids can be draw-biased. You need to find the right one for you.
