3:20 after connecting geometry and object is disappeared how to solve this problem i used blender version 3.6.2
Would be neat if you later made an updated version after the full version of sim nodes / blender 3.5 releases

How would you use the attribute node to change the colors of the firework?
I can't seam to get this to work with the simulation nodes in 3.5 beta :/
If you're using an equalizer, turn up the highs some, was a bit heavy on the low end. Sometimes muffled.
I think I love this bassy low pitch vocal better xD

I also want to mention that I assume the render of a single frame will not work because of the buffer loop which needs a previous frame to work.

Hey man, I know I am a little late to the party though trying this in 4.1 I have an interesting problem with all of the particles being stuck on a perfect x/y/z axis. Everything works except the fact the whole simulation is run in a single line. Just hoping you knew anything off the top of your head as to why this would be happening, I've quintuple checked the nodes and buffer are the exact same :) ty for the amazing tutorials

Interesting, I can render video or image sequence fine, but can't render a single frame, if I use F12 to render current frame the image is black

thank you for the tutorial. it working great in the viewport with Cycle, but I can't render it when rendering a specific frame.
plus, the animation is not stick to a specific frame. it just continue in each next frame. I want to make it start in a specific frame and bake so it will be the same for any run.

@@EduardoAlfaro_ the problem is the Recursive Buffer with the Sim objects. the one points to the other, and it makes the scene unrenderable for final rendering.
If this video creator ( @CartesianCaramel ) can assist in this point it will be great. Because the great animation done here is not usable at all.
I also had issues with the rendering. Simple F12 image render will propably not work, because the effect uses a lot math nodes. I can still not render a single image with F12 but if you render instead an animation starting with the first frame 0 it worked for me. The effect needs to start with frame 0

@@manel6666 eevee. cycles I have not yet tried. I also want to mention that I assume the render of a single frame will not work because of the buffer loop which needs a previous frame to work. you may check there are interessting youtube videos when you look for blender geometry nodes buffer.

What is setting up buffer? I don't understand why you are using it. Can you like a video where it is explained properly? I can't seem to find it anywhere in your playlists. Thank You.
I think it was a way to simulate things before the simulation area existed.

Great tutorial and explanation, I only have the problem if I want to render it in EEVEE I only see a black screen 🤔 is there a way to bake the geometry nodes or does anyone have a solution for this problem?

Maybe you using 3.4 in 3.3 should work, in latest alpha I also couldn't get it to work.

@@Mati_Motion Also noticed one more thing which can easy make you think it's not working is clicking disable in viewport instead of just hide in viewport. Now I managed this to work in 3.4 but sometimes it just didn't want to work for me, the nature of hacks in beta I guess.
The developers noticed such a life hack and covered it up!))))))))))
@@alexeyua4025 I don't believe this is the case, public experiments with this may actually help them with development they can't possibly know all crushes, all possibilities etc, so for example if some nodes cause crushes often and don't play well with loops, devs may look into it and fix it before it even goes to main alpha build. Prototype loop nodes and sim nodes are already in first tests, they have no reason to block this.

I can see your tutorial is good, but only for someone who has basic understanding of Geometry Nodes system. I'll be back when I got there. It's hard to me to follow now.

@@johntyler-ev9xc (Sorry for answering 2 days later) The buffer technique still wouldn't work BUT I got it to work using simulation nodes instead. So it was easy to follow the rest of the stream.

@@CartesianCaramel at 4:40 you dup the store named attribute and drop between the two nodes. hit some shortcut and it dissapeares but the connection is still there so you didn't delete it. can I ask what you did to hide it? I missed you adding it the first go around, so mine wouldn't work. dropped the store named attribute and finally got the instance to lift up and move. when people miss that part I think they lost the rest of the tutorial. thanks awesome information.
