Great review. Which one would you personally go for, this one or the Eonon unit, they both look very similar? Which would you say has the best software and smoothness of use? Thanks for the help.

They’re both about the same for most things but I’d probably just pick this one as I prefer the custom icons a little better on this one.
Speed wise they’re both almost identical and all functions work identical.

does it work whit an older android version, i have android 9 on my phone

That will depend on android auto compatibility, if it’s officially supported then it will work.
I don’t use android so can’t personally test

Mine has an issue where the date and time keeps resetting after the car is turned off and turned back on.

Mine did the same thing, think hard wiring would be the only way to make sure it remembers as it doesn’t lose power but not 100% sure because I didn’t pay too much attention as I ran it in CarPlay mode all the time.

Does it drain the battery when off?

It switches off with ignition when using the 12V power cord.
