Hi, Yes I’m aware that thicker acoustic panels are needed for the audio however it’s mostly the rear right corner as due to the bay window the room narrows off there, I may look into some bass traps for that corner. To be honest no one else really notices the audio in the way I do, and from the MLP it’s pretty spot on. The panels on the wall are mostly for aesthetics as I like the look of them as well as cutting down on light reflections as even compared to Matt black paint they still reduce a lot of light from and to the projector screen. If I did the room again I’d use thicker acoustic panels in the reflection points, however I didn’t want to encroach too much as the space is already small and I wanted to maximise the seating in the room. Appreciate the feedback, as and when I do make any changes I’ll post them to the channel but for now I’m happy with it and don’t really have the time more than anything else to be making changes.

I’ve had warranty work done with this but you can always factory reset if you’re concerned.

If you only see 1 file then it means your tv is patched through firmware updates

Not sure if you’re sticking up for this product or not but from personal experience I can tell you every one of these that I’ve tried has failed to stay charged unless it’s used in a location where it simply never has any detections, if it detects moving objects then it will need to be charged manually. Also the solar panels themselves have failed on most of my eufy cameras which means over time they charge less and less until they finally die completely.

As before, watch the video for my thoughts on this brand. As for the 4k/6k that just what they claim the processer is capable of playing back from say local files, most still output in 1080p or an upscale of that not native 4k.

@@MATechRUclips yeah I know I’m just stating it for other people to realize false information, and when it comes to electronics, you have your good ones and you have your bad ones, and it seems to me you’re just having a bad experience, now if you were to take more boxes of the same and come up with the same problems, then I can say this brand is junk, and when it comes down to Wi-Fi. Well, there could be a lot of problems there. So watching one video doesn’t prove nothing.

If the subwoofer doesn’t have any connections as I’ve described in the video then it won’t connect, the soundbar most likely won’t have an output so it never connects to that directly, you’re bypassing that and using the tvs output with this hack.

I don’t listen to music on its own but during movies there’s always soundtracks and for those they (I have 2) perform brilliantly

Yes, I disabled it on mine as I don’t have reversing sensors or camera but initially it would automatically show up when reverse was selected

CarPlay needs Bluetooth and WiFi on to work so make sure both are enabled, also if you’ve used AirPlay then you’ll need to manually disconnect from that before CarPlay may work.

They didn’t show up for me as my radio didn’t work with my car’s antenna

If the issue is on the amp board then the only option is to swap it out for a new one if you’re in the US or swap the whole subwoofer if you’re in the UK (they don’t make replacement amps for UK models), this is what I was told by Monolith/monoprice last time I spoke to them.

They’re usually paired with the subwoofer so you can’t replace it without going back to them

@MATechRUclips you can go on line by another subwoofer you just got to make sure the serial number the same on both subwoofers

Yes, my repair was done under warranty and they ended up paying me out the full amount for the soundbar eventually

Not sure if that’s possible, it’s not something I’ve tried or really wanted to as it’ll most likely carry more risk of bricking the tv

I have 4 Monolith subs including x2 M-12 V2s, Monolith 13 and this M-15 V2. So I have quite a bit of experience with them. It sounds like your sub lost signal to AVR. It should be an easy fix for you. It does happen to one of my M-12 V2s. Make sure you turn your Gain/Volume all the way down on the back of your sub and then disconnect and reconnect your RCA wire going to your sub. It should fix your issue. If it doesn't then turn off your sub (it will take like 30 seconds or a minute to power off) and then turn it back on and if still keeps flashing the green LED then try disconnecting and re-connecting your RCA sub cable. This works for me and should work for you.

First thing to check is always power down for a while and disconnect and reconnect the cables after that period and then power up again and test

@@weecious I use the balanced XLR connection ( not that it makes a difference ). When its powered on, it flashes red, then solid red, then off then flashes green. I've followed the instructions Monoprice sent me last year ( power cycle it 5-6 times ) and its made no difference. They said flashing green means its gone into protection mode and the power cycle should reset it ( except that it hasn't )

@@MrElchav Powering down like you suggested and the comment above doesn't fix this. I would assume XLR cables will work the same way as RCA when trying to fix this problem. I suggested turning down Volume/Gain knob to no damage the amp. Just make sure the Volume/Gain knob doesn't click otherwise turn it down all the way and disconnect your XLR sub cable and reconnect it. Check if the LED on the back of the sub is solid green now.. if it is then it means your sub should be propery working again.

​@@weeciousI have since found the problem! The sub powers up when connected via RCA. Connect via XLR however, and it flashes green. The problem is on the XLR circuit. Monoprice are swnding me a new sub though.

It shows up on the phone but usually just says connect. AirPlay on these devices is always hit or miss and you need to be disconnected from CarPlay in order for it to work.

I’ve not tried this but I would imagine it may not work as others have had issues when using anything other than a direct optical to analogue conversion.

Trace your power cables to ensure your factory wiring isn’t backwards for live and switched live. Also just try pressing the power button as it may need switching on manually if it was powered off manually (by holding power button). To power head units you need 3 cables, earth/ground, live (constant) live switched (ignition).

There’s a slot where you can insert a sim card on the harness iirc. Don’t think there’s many navigation apps that work without a signal now, maybe search to see if any will let you download maps offline

I don’t use it like that personally but iirc it’ll stay on the last screen/app used but like I say I only use CarPlay for navigation and leave it in android mode the rest of the time.
