Holy cow! That was a great bag! And wow - a 1936 DDO! I have never found a penny DDO! And I need a 1916 for my book! 😂😂 There was a guy who was dumping a bunch of old coins at the credit union over a couple of weeks during the time period when I picked up these bags. That is probably why you had those four rolls of 1959's. The teller scored a couple rolls of steel cents from the guy because they were clogging the coin machine and she bought them at face value. I hunted a bag of nickels from this same time period and found 40 dateless Buffalo nickels, and I have another bag of nickels I haven't searched yet - and I could see five buffalos through the bag. I didn't find anything in the dime or quarters bags from that period, but the half-dollar bag hasn't been filled yet. Finally, thanks for the shout-outs!
Since I started learning about coins and values. Whenever I see someone dumping coins into the machines, I cringe. I just want to trade fiat for what they have.
Y'all are my favorite RUclips personalities. Such humble folks. Kind to all. I love you guys. Awesome awesome awesome. Good people.❤️ BLESSED ARE THE PURE OF HEART
I reluctantly accepted a $1,000 bag of quarters a few weeks ago. I won't balk at them again lol! Multiple stunners, and some proofs. Can't complain 😁 That's a fantastic bag of pennies!!!
Always great to get a notification brother...... Penny bags were my favorite of all time.... Got that 301 wheaties about 2 years ago .... Felt like a king
I just inherited a coin collection from my late father-in-law & theres a ton of wheats just loose and in rolls, but there's also a large sewn canvas bag from or for the mint that's really heavy, but I haven't opened it yet. Right now it's 420 miles away, so it's going to have to wait for now. Great video though, thanks!
Your videos are always great, I got a 1961p unc dime and a 1950p quarter and a 1$ peso and two 30s wheats from coinstar 12/5 . Christmas time is always good a sac dollar and some other foreign out of the vac at the car wash. and i have been getting a lot of star notes especially 20$ ones. and quite a few fancy notes also.
Awesome bag, Rob! Great spread of coins and not just a bunch of 50's. The amount of Frisco wheats made the bag worth it alone. Too bad about the shape of the DDO, but at least it was a nice find! Can't wait for the second bag!!!
Rob, you have to start checking for the 1942 DDO, eyes. Bunch of different ones. I found one in my bag of wheaties I've had since the late 90s. Can do a 1942 only hunt too
I have been lucky for the last few months to be getting a bag a week from a US bank. Bags vary way more than boxes do. I can find 20 wheat cents and none, lots of copper, and hardly any. My hands get way dirtier. I would say my best finds of the year have come from bags.
I actually found a 1936 DDO #1 15-20 yrs ago! I've still got it. Haven't sent it in for grading but have been seriously thinking about it. Last I checked & the condition I believe it to be, I'm thinking it's worth about $350! May be worth more now though. Excellent find despite the damage!
I know. Wish my banks had counters for them but they don't. Also, been trying to get the grocery store managers to sell me the coinstar bags but they won't - yet!
Good video I just recently have been going through my pennies from 70 years ago all wheat backs. Exciting to find 1907 Indian head lots of good early dates about 40 pounds left to sort through.
Nice, I pretty much did this today. Your videos inspired me to look through the collection of pennies I've been saving up since I was 3 years old. Ended up with 22 wheaties, three 1 Pence British Pennies, and one Canadian nickel (and a butt ton of Canadian pennies).
Crazy good hunt for a single bag but the damage on the 36 DDO is a bummer. I would probably consider having that one slabbed for posterity since it was a CRH find even though it's not technically "worth" it.
That was a penny collection but if you look at many of the cents they had been cleaned. It was funny though if you look at many of them it was either just at date or on some only the field around the date . It looks almost like it was a collection that a kid or young adult had. In any case it was a nice fun hunt .
My oldest penny SO FAR is a 1920 Wheat Copper Penny! But my OLDEST coin in my entire collection so far, is some old chinese tokens! Around 1,000 years old I believe.
First, amazing finds! Second, is there a reason why your hunts are not set up like your live streams? What I mean is the different cameras, is the editing process longer and difficult in post production?
Great video as always, Rob. I'm loving all those wheaties for sure. How many hours/days did it take you ? I just ask because I've done a 1,500 bag of wheaties last year myself to try to sweetin' up my album and it took quite a while to do. 5,0000 pennies is a 💩 load to say the least. Thanks for taking me along for the ride.
I am still a novice. I am just looking for some help. I found a cent that looks to have a very good grease stamp. From what I can see there is no date missing the LIBE in Liberty and the G in god. Just looking for some advice on this
I just got 16 pounds of pennies from my brother Joe yesterday.I was at his house watching the Bengals Chiefs game.I asked if he had any change and he did.I told him I will hunt them and give him all the finds.I will get his nickels, dimes and quarters later. What a coincidence.
Am I the only one who sees a big cache of change and immediately wants to get their hands on those coins? Every time I hear a friend talk about their grandparents’ coins I want to tell them, “break them out-I’ll look them over and give you an idea what you have.” I don’t even need to own them. I just wanna look at them, and I’d be just as excited if I found a great coin if it belonged to my friend.
A majority of these wheaties have evidence of being cleaned/rubbed in the date area, is that you doing it Rob as you find them before filming, or just a whole bunch of someones collection dumped ?
I would not do that. This is obviously from someone's collection and looks like they erased them to look "nicer" or couldn't read the dates and tried to make them legible.
This is part 112 of the series (Boxes 207-208) and I do plan on updating it from each penny box I hunt from this point forward until the penny coin collection is nearly completed!

It was definently a collection dump, a lot of the wheaties were cleaned around the date. what a good bag
Good Evening My Good Bro & Sis Rob Finds Treasure
I reluctantly accepted a $1,000 bag of quarters a few weeks ago. I won't balk at them again lol!
Multiple stunners, and some proofs. Can't complain 😁
That's a fantastic bag of pennies!!!
Great bag and a fun hunt! Southern Metal - he's a good guy, I reckon...
That was a great video Awesome penny wheat cent album fill hunt Congratulations on finding a 1936 ddo fs102 type 2 find thanks for sharing Rob
Morning coffee and a penny hunt! It just makes cents.
What a fun hunt Rob! All those 1959's are a year younger than me just more shine LOL! Thanks again for another great hunt! Happy Hunting Stephen
What an amazing hunt toy did today Rob have a good day
A bag full of wheaties does a body good .
Incredible hunt, the bags have more luck then the boxes it seems
Always great to get a notification brother...... Penny bags were my favorite of all time.... Got that 301 wheaties about 2 years ago .... Felt like a king

One of the best hunts I've seen !
Funtastic bag hunt! Can't wait to see the next bag 💰 Thanks Southern Metal & Rob for the goodies hunt 👍
This bag was LOADED! Congrats on all the finds!!!
Whew that's a bunch of great finds!! That DDO was pretty cool though!! The 59 rolls were interesting. 🤘🤘
What a great hunt. Wish I could buy amounts like that. None of the banks around me will sell boxes or bags. Super fun to watch. Thank you !
Great vintage that 1959!!😁😁
Wow. Looks like a wheat field. Happy harvesting. Nice video.
Very very interested and enjoyable hunt. That's how I hunt, by the bag. 1936 ddo holy cow brother, you have a great eye.
Love the longer videos. And know your always trying to keep them short but your content is good and your videos well done. Thanks!
Nice bag! Can't get mad at that. 👍❗️

New comment filter option! Cool!
I must thank you 🙏 you Rob cause you’re videos have taught me sooooooo ! Much 💪🤩
Really fun hunt! Loved seeing so many wheaties!
Hey Rob, I found a 1950-d nickel today! I send he good luck of the 50-ds to you in the hunt and fill series!
Congrats and thank you!
That was a crazy bag full of awesome finds.
That was a good bag of Pennies! Cool Video
Awesome bag, Rob! Great spread of coins and not just a bunch of 50's. The amount of Frisco wheats made the bag worth it alone. Too bad about the shape of the DDO, but at least it was a nice find! Can't wait for the second bag!!!
Thumbs UP as Always Rob ^^^^^^
Awesome penny hunt. Great to see all those wheaties.
This was FUN !!
Very good video and nice change up with a bag with 5000 pennies!
Love that 59!!
Rob you have done it again another awsome video, always enjoy watching these hunts. 🙂
Rob, you have to start checking for the 1942 DDO, eyes. Bunch of different ones. I found one in my bag of wheaties I've had since the late 90s.
Can do a 1942 only hunt too
Yeah, I've thought about it. Problem is that in brown condition almost no one cares for them. Bright red, for sure - and very valuable too.
@@RobFindsTreasure good point. However, still educational for the watchers. Good stuff my man

Nice! Too bad there's not more bags like that.
Entire rolls of uncirculated from the 50s is nuts.
Sure was neat to watch though. 👍
WTG Southern Metal!
It seems that you're getting more wheat cents in the bags than in the boxes.👍😃
Rob bagged some goodies today.
What was a great hunt
Super fun hunt, Rob!
That was fun. I gotta get me another $50 bag to hunt. It’s been a while…
Wow Rob, a 1936-DDO even though it's damaged it's better then not having one, congrats brother, can't wait for the 2nd bag now 👍
I haven't been able to hunt pennies in a while. I miss this hobby
It misses you brother!
Nice, I pretty much did this today. Your videos inspired me to look through the collection of pennies I've been saving up since I was 3 years old. Ended up with 22 wheaties, three 1 Pence British Pennies, and one Canadian nickel (and a butt ton of Canadian pennies).
I want them all lol you can have all my 107 wheaties for those lol
Great bag! Shame that 1936 DDO was damaged. Those are hard to find.
I know... 1st I have ever found!
Holy cow what a fun hunt.
Long time viewer. First time I've seen a DDO on an old Wheatie. Nice! Bummed about the damage.
Thanks Bill - first time I have found one from that year but have found a few of the 1941 DDOs.
cool! i wish i could get a bag of pennies! But, Still Rob! what the heck how can you get mad at that bag
Very picked over bag already. Soooo many cleaned dates.
For sure
Never done a bag of coins. Thought about grabbing a bag or 2 from the coin shop. Although this looks way more fun. Very nice, finds.
Very nice hunt 👍
Looked like someone took a pencil eraser to most of those wheaties.
Hey, Rob
Crazy good hunt for a single bag but the damage on the 36 DDO is a bummer. I would probably consider having that one slabbed for posterity since it was a CRH find even though it's not technically "worth" it.

In any case it was a nice fun hunt .
Could have been a lot of metal detecting finds. Personally I'll rub the date on a wheatie in a heartbeat, never a silver coin though!
Awesome Video!!😎👍
My oldest penny SO FAR is a 1920 Wheat Copper Penny! But my OLDEST coin in my entire collection so far, is some old chinese tokens! Around 1,000 years old I believe.
Hi Rob
I’m first on the video tonight 👏🏁
That certainly was a lot of S mints.
I put it on eBay on Saturday and when I woke up on Sunday morning I had 2 offers and I sold it to a coin dealer in Florida for $450.00 🏁
I could tell by the length of the video, it was going to be an epic hunt. It is.
It looked like the date area on a good majority of the wheat cents had been wiped or cleaned with a pencil eraser or something.
First, amazing finds! Second, is there a reason why your hunts are not set up like your live streams? What I mean is the different cameras, is the editing process longer and difficult in post production?
Yes, but I also like the "hunter's view" for filming so you see what I see.
I found a 1919-S in $20 worth of pennies as well as 6 other wheats from the 40s and 50s
This particular bag took me almost 5 hours to hunt.
These cents look like they came out of a wishing well!
👍
Very cool bag.
I found a 1916 D Mercury dime 😱👏💵
BOOM!
I am still a novice. I am just looking for some help. I found a cent that looks to have a very good grease stamp. From what I can see there is no date missing the LIBE in Liberty and the G in god. Just looking for some advice on this
Some of my best hunts were from bank bags
I just purchased a vintage penny album with all the pennies...now I finally have a S steel cent
Hello Rob 👍
Is there a reference book for coins with the prices and such?
Thanks for these videos 👍🙏🏽🙏🏽👍
I just got 16 pounds of pennies from my brother Joe yesterday.I was at his house watching the Bengals Chiefs game.I asked if he had any change and he did.I told him I will hunt them and give him all the finds.I will get his nickels, dimes and quarters later. What a coincidence.
It's a shame most of the wheat cents looked cleaned on the right side in the date and surrounding areas. Someone must've had trouble reading the dates
Wow I never so many Wheaties
Am I the only one who sees a big cache of change and immediately wants to get their hands on those coins? Every time I hear a friend talk about their grandparents’ coins I want to tell them, “break them out-I’ll look them over and give you an idea what you have.” I don’t even need to own them. I just wanna look at them, and I’d be just as excited if I found a great coin if it belonged to my friend.
For sure!
Where can I find bags like this to hunt I'd appreciate any info I can get I love hunting pennies
They come from banks coin counting machines. So banks give them out, some don’t.
Thanks guys thanks Rob
Been meaning to ask and cannot find online but what states do the different mints supply. P D S which ones go to which areas?
Sweet
Hi
A majority of these wheaties have evidence of being cleaned/rubbed in the date area, is that you doing it Rob as you find them before filming, or just a whole bunch of someones collection dumped ?
Rob wouldn't clean the coins like that. This looks like a dump of extras in someone's coin collection.
I would not do that. This is obviously from someone's collection and looks like they erased them to look "nicer" or couldn't read the dates and tried to make them legible.
Rob! Can I buy one of those 1959 toned Pennie’s from you?
Within 5 months, I have gotten 12000 copper pennies, about 45% from home and 55% from work
ROB where did you fined this bag of coins I want to search it to if and when I get to fined one
Good
Have you ever found 95, 55, or 72 double dies? I found a 72 DD in change
I have found the 72 and 95, not the 55
Do you check for the 84 doubled ear?
Every one, every time. I have found 2 now!
Wait... if they have foreign change in those, then they owe you money still XD idk feels liks they missin smt
I don't know if its just me but a lot of those wheats looked like someone had rubbed the dates clean on them.
For sure
