awesome installation vid. I got the V2 version and it wasn't too bad. I used the video link they provided but ended up macguyvering the whole thing lol. I didnt use the magnet connector for the brakes. there should be an extra black wire that can be plugged in directly where the stock brake sensor is. I kept my stock horn and i made a diy bracket for the rear tail lights. the plastic mount they provided didnt fit anywhere under there.
I figured out the brake light adapter after emailing the owner. He was super helpful, just like this comment. Thanks!

Yes I got the sting MX4 and stock brakes. but no where to plug short orange connector with the plug. Looks like everything else iis plug and play
I Like the design of this. It's sleeker than other kits I have seen. However. I already made my stock running light into a brake light. with this kit can I not hook up the brake like and just use the turn signals with out the brake function?

Hey, so I have a customer that is having trouble connecting the oem brake lever sensor. Did the orange dongle adapter connect straight to the oem lever sensor?
My customer states that he needs the orange connector to have a male plug not female
It did. Straight in, probably the same way it does the Sur Ron. That’s where I got confused but it works flawlessly.
I installed this kit on my MX4 I got everything working just fine except the horn wire. I couldn't track the horn wire because it looked like the horn wire went into this block that split into like 9 different wires. I ended up just keeping the old horn button next to the turn signal controller.
I’m having the same issue but I’m also having the issue of none of my wiring looking like his, did you have the same issue and if so how’d you work around it?
@@tylersidmore4216 So I didn't really use the video to help me because it also didn't seem to be the same wiring like you. I just kept the battery outside the bike but still connected, so I could test exactly what connected to what. One weird thing I found was that there are 2 separate connectors for the headlights, and two of the connectors from the control set are supposed to be connected to those 2 separate headlight. You'll have to figure out exactly which goes in which by testing it with the bike on. I recommend disconnecting the battery when you are disconnecting and reconnecting the wires when you test for the connectors.
@11:50 does the rear black mount come with the kit cause I don't see it in pics on the website and if it doesn't 😂 where did u get it from cause I love the way the kit looks tbh and fri the 14th is when I get my Talaria sting mx3 I'm super excited
Mine came with it. When you order, you can confirm with them though. It's just a 3D printed piece.

Hi I was hoping for some advice. I installed the kit and am having two issues. The first is my headlight that was working the first time I plugged in the smaller led turn signals now won’t turn on. Could I have plugged something in wrong? Did anyone else have this issue…. Confused because it worked the first time I plugged the battery in and then the second time it stopped working. Secondly I am having a hard time closing the hatch. I took the rubber off and stuffed all the wires as best I could but the lid (where you open the battery) still won’t latch. Anyone else have this problem?

How did you get away with not using the magnet brake sensor?
You just use the sensor plug to plug into the lights, vs the sensor and it works!

So I installed this kit on my mx4, I can't figure out the horn, there's an extra female spade connector that I don't know what do with and now the bike won't come out of "wait". 😓 Please. To help.
Hmmm. I'm not sure know the answer, but my guess is you've disconnected a sensor somewhere. That's the only thing I can think of that would cause the Wait option to stick on.

Most likely. Check your local laws and regulations.
How do you register without a VIN?
It varies from state to state. I didn't actually register this one.

I’d imagine so. It seems like most of the changes didn’t involve the light connectors
Kind of with a little modification. They come with square furukawa connectors instead of oval h10s. Just have to depin and reset accordingly.

@@EpicMope if the horn isn't working, try replug the pin you pulled off and use the opposite side.
@@jekt360 Can you explain more about what you mean regarding the depinning and repinning. I just got this kit and noticed the oval connections. When I was under the hood last I only recall seeing the square ones. Can this kit be installed on an mx4 r using the parts that come with it or do I have to order modicfaction parts to repin wires (which I’d have no clue how to do). Sorry for the noobie type question here.
