ShartimusPrime Biography:
Inspired by watching boring Transformers action figure reviews, the ShartimusPrime youtube channel was launched in 2008. Engaging the audience with an edgy sense of humor while maintaining appropriate language for all ages, action figure collecting has never been this fun, and videos are posted daily! Unexpectedly, the channel became more popular for Marvel Legends reviews and Spider-Man, Avengers, and X-Men collection display videos. After a few years, the channel has branched out to review other figure properties aside from Marvel Legends and G1 Transformers Masterpiece. Hot Toys, Star Wars, Diamond Select Toys, DC Collectibles, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Dragon Ball Z, Attack on Titan, Godzilla, Evil Dead, and The Walking Dead toy lines have all been added to the roster of nearly 2,000 video reviews. Japanese import figures from SH Figuarts, Bandai, Figma, Square Enix, and Medicom MAFEX have been favorites as well. More recently, Kotobukiya Statues (including the very sexy Bishoujo line) and NECA Toys have become more prevalent on the channel. Being a big fan of movies such as Spider-Man, Batman, X-Men, Iron Man, Captain America, The Avengers, Evil Dead, Pacific Rim, Aliens, and other films has lead the channel in the direction of also reviewing movies, movie trailers, blu ray releases, and tv shows. News updates for 2016 releases and beyond are also posted. Audience engagement is a big part of this channel, with giveaways and fan mail being read publicly once a week in the PO Box Pick-Up videos. Impressive “Shart-Art” is shared via social media and included in the opening theme song. The audience is also kept up to date with any changes to the channel, along with recent comic book pick-ups, unboxings, and action figure hauls. Stop-motion segments punishing the popular meme of the Big Time Let Down Spider-Man close most of the comparison segments, and are compiled together for guaranteed access to patrons. Lastly, all figure reviews close with a slideshow featuring dynamic poses of the figure inspired by ACBA, with the added bonus of music performed and recorded by ShartimusPrime himself.

I usually don't take joy in a line being terrible(it's like movies. Who wants a terrible one?), but since the 6 inch Multiverse line killed off a 3 3/4 inch line filled with untapped potential, I'm kinda happy that the current line is so looked down upon.

Couldn't disagree more about the Captain America segment. I LOVE seeing things like that, for example the Ralph McQuarrie Star Wars figures. This was an awesome looking version of Cap and he looks great next to other characters.
#6 is SO subjective it's painful. Cap HAS worn that costume in the comics before, and just because it's an alt costume does NOT make it a bad figure.

Patrick Trujillo you have to understand though it is a review so its supposed to be subjective. Its his opinion and while you like the figure, he didn't. For example he just did a preview of the new Hot Toys Vol 2 Star-Lord and he actually mentioned that he wasn't too thrilled with how it looks. However I think it looks amazing. Reviews are always subjective because they are the reviewer's opinion.

The captain America costume is not just merely based on concept art, it is based on the costume that he wore on a short, yet solid mini-series called secret wars. Worth a read.

not to mention: hating a figure for just the attire based on a concept art isn't a good reason, specially after Phoenix, it made sense for Sandman cause that color scheme looked like dirt, but that wasn't the main reason he sucked

Secret War Cap is NOT concept art. It was featured momentarily in the title Secret War (2004)....it is still not a noteworthy costume and was only briefly seen in flash back sequences where Cap was a part of a group of heroes gathered by Nick Fury to Infiltrate Latveria within the comics 5 issue run.

They didn't even try to make it unique by, say, using sandpaper or something like that on the mold to give it a sand-like bumpy texture. They just slapped on brown and tan paint and called it a day.

Ya'll really be complaining over a TOY REVIEW. i know he may have talked "bad'' about #6, but in the end, its still just a toy/action figure. No hate to Shartimus or any of you viewers , just saying that you viewers are mad over something he probably didn't even know about. The Sandman figure featured here could be used as a sort of accessory for a "Spidey-Sandman" fight. Recently, Sandman is shown to create copies of himself, so maybe you have Flint Marko stage a Sub-Zero-style fakeout on Web-Head. Just a thought.

How does a concept design make a figure one of the worst? If the figure quality and paint are fine' why do you care that you can't put it in any particular group. Some figures can stand alone.

As an artist, I actually think they should do MORE concept art figures. It's absolutely one of the most unique Cap figures we've gotten. If they made for ML's like that, I'd actually buy more.

I took that Sandman figure and spray painted the whole thing with that textured sand paint, that they sell at hardware stores (for doing sandstone effects on pottery and other household crafts projects.) It looks pretty cool now.

The DC Multiverse line for the most part....SUCK!!!! The articulation is horrible. They just suck. I did like a couple of them. Armored Batman was ok. I really wanted the Doomsday new 52 BAF. What I had to buy to get him....aaargh. Lex Luther in prison shackels? Crap. You get the jist. They suck.

I've been getting action figures since Star Wars originally came out, so I've been around the block with these things since the late 70's, throughout the entire 80's, stopped collecting in the 90's, and picked up the Hobby once I got a good job as a teacher about three years ago. Out of all the Figuarts, Hot Toys, NECA, and others I've been getting g, I honestly have to say that Mattel HS got to make the shittiest figures out there. I love DC characters more than Marvel, and Mattel effs them up at every turn. The posability is the friggin worst! The BVS Wonder Woman was one of the biggest letdowns in terms of action figures last year. I just stick to DC Collectibles if I want good to great DC figures. Screw Mattel. Lol.
One of the very first aspect of an action figure, should be the resemblance with his "human" counterpart. Now the Wonder Woman action figure looks ABSOLUTELY NOTHING like Gal Gadot. Not at all

I actually don't mind concept art figures. I really like concept art figures for Star Wars for example McQuirre figures and like Grievous concept art, but for Marvel Legends I feel like they should only do a handful. I don't care for a concept art Cap, maybe like some cooler versions of other characters such as Magento or something.
You obviously do not collect too many Neca figures anymore. I do collect them but man they can be frustrating. Breaks, warped limbs, loose joints, extremely tight joints etc. Neca makes beautiful figures for their price point but their quality is extremely touchy.
While I am bummed to see the Mafex Superman on this list, I completely understand. Especially after getting the DC Films Superman from DC Collectibles. It's far better.
The Figma Hulk really isn't that bad. It's so much better than the SHF one. Once you get it in a cool pose and don't move it around it really looks great on display. The movie Mordo is just in general a crappy character design, not much fault to the figure itself. The figure just looks so bland and boring.
The hideous Suicide Squad movie figures, the horrible Dr Strange Astral form and the f*ckin" Dr Strange from Hulkbuster wave with a NEW cape are way worse than Mordo.
I know this is late going to have to respectfully disagree with you on the cap and sandman figures. Some people were saying that the cap costume wasn’t a concept art but even if it was, it doesn’t really make it a bad figure, let alone putting it on this list. Same with sandman. Now I understand that you can’t switch out baf parts with that figure but like I said, that doesn’t make it bad. They would make good figures to play with for people who don’t put their figures on shelves or even for stop motion. Just my thoughts though.
Shartimus is drinking the cool aid on that old Phoenix figure from Toybiz . The face sculpt looks like a 50 year old truck stop waitress. Weird "spinning meat" articulation in the arms, and just an overall unappealing marionette like appearance.

Yeah totally agree about that phoenix she can't even stand hips are so limited, Hair sculpt has noticeable seam you could actually tear it off like a weave lmao. and again where the fuck are the double jointed elbows stop being lazy Hasbro. Toybiz did double joints on female figures, phoenix was good and so was storm it can be done.
Those McFarlane ColorTop statues have "collectible ACTION figures" printed on the box, so they probably all deserve a spot on the list.
I am I'm very disappointed it with the flash figure just like you it was so stupid you can't even get into poses I'm a huge fan of the TV show but that was just so crappy I just wish they added more articulation than they did but I just can't believe it I spent money on that and I hope many people out there do not buy that anymore I don't see what was wrong with the Captain America I don't really like the costume I thought the shield was pretty cool but the costume is kind of crap I couldn't find very many images online with it to find out what it was so I really don't have a back story form is it just the Captain America if you can tell me please answer to this

+Shartmis Prime, I have looked at many Wonder Woman figures for the Batman vs. Superman and none of them from Mattel would any good. I did buy the doll and there's no chest or ankle movement, she's the closest to Gal Gadot.
The concept art Captain America was actually pretty cool...... if you have any other Captain America (which you do) just put it there to show different costumes

You could've filled this list with most of the Suicide Squad line, don't know why you put Mordo here tho, hating the charcter has nothing to do with the figure, i love movie Harley but her Multiverse figs make her look like a dude in drag.
