She was on sale for about that much during the Holidays. My sister bought her for me as a Christmas gift. For that price, I couldn't really complain...even though I essentially got her for free. But she's definitely not worth the full $24.99. No accessories (aside from the BAF parts) and extremely limited articulation due to her robes. The figure itself looks great. That likeness to Kathryn Hahn is spot-on. You just can't do much with her, unfortunately.

He looks like a character made for/by people who think Lobo's a little too subtle and understated in concept and characterisation. honestly this year I collected the LEAST ammount of marvel legends that I couldn't even make a top 10. there were some really cool ones but i honestly did not feel great buying hasbro products this year. they did a lot of really scummy shit as a company especially with the D&D and Magic products that it really turned me off from the hobbies i loved. I feel I collected way more wrestlng figures and other 3rd party/import figures and was way happier
I like the Ultron for the new head, and while the marbling is questionable, the silver molded plastic makes me less scared to pose the figure compared to the previous (superior) Ursa Major Ultron wherein the painted silver makes it prone to scuffing. Pretty good list and perfectly understandable choice for worst figure, but I honestly can't hate it when it's still one of the better figures of Ultron from Hasbro.✌😇
I got the Random figure delivered and in-hand before sitting down to watch this video, and hard disagree. I don't mind this Random not having the exaggerated 'roidy hugeness of his early comic appearances, not when he's no more than a head shorter than Strong Guy. I however CAN complain about not being able to arch him back or make his head look up, the goofy shape of his bio-cannon, and how Hasbro was too lazy to include interchangeable forearms and blast effects. But not big enough? Can't see it, plus Random's got so much attention to detail otherwise that I felt I got a good deal buying him individually, way more than Vertigo.

I definitely get the complaint about Kingpin being too small, personally I don't mind it, I think the head sculpt looks incredible and I'm happy to have him stood with the MCU Spider-Man villains and he looks great there, but I completely get why some would have a problem with it. Same with that Magneto, I get the complaints but personally I don't mind it for what it is. I don't have a top 10 worst Marvel Legends solely because I've majorly cut back on that line, so many just aren't worth the price for me anymore. I will say whilst it's a few years old I did get that Richard Rider Nova this year, major let down, felt like a figure that was released five or six years too late.
Kingpin being a bit too small is the only gripe I have with that figure. Otherwise, I think he's great. Like you said, the head sculpt looks incredible. That likeness to Vincent D'Onofrio is dead-on in my opinion. A family member bought him for me as a gift during a sale. He was going for about $11 or $12. At that price, I wouldn't really be able to complain...even though for me it was free.
@@SlasherIncorporated I pretty much 100% share that opinion. To me the size would bother me if he were a comic style giant, but I didn't even notice it until I heard people point it out, and even then it still doesn't bother me, I look at it and it's unmistakable who it is.

Avalanche hands down. Such a vanilla figure, but needed him to complete my brotherhood. I got him of Mercari and paid $11 brand new but that hurt still to spend money on that figure 😂
Lol oh man your poses with BTLD were awesome, solid list, I did take that gambit and mod it's arms to bare black and stuck on the toybiz coat, gave him a matte finish and using a marvel select card accessory and I personally love it now. I hated how the old jacket arms had all the wrinkles and the new coat part was totally smooth. But Gambit needs the pinless treatment on his classic costume next or we should riot lol.
My biggest let downs is Luke Cage and Blade, they need to redo those asap stop with the spideys, iron man, caps and wolverine and give us characters that need updates with the best molds for articulation and accessories

I passed on everything you passed on, and I only have two of the figures that made your top ten worst list (Gambit and Tarantula). I also passed on quite a few in your thumbnail. My taste must be getting better. Maybe they should start calling this line “Marble Legends” in honor of their swirly plastic.
I noticed Agatha as one of your runner's up. True, it's a figure that I was really wanting until I saw how terrible they made it. But. It has a redeeming quality in that if you simply swap out that horrible Agatha head with almost any other female legends head, it's actually pretty good. The limited articulation due to the clothing isn't really a big deal if you're just looking for a witch/magic user figure. The arm and hand posing is still more than suitable for magical doings. And certain heads make it a really cool figure, IMO. For example, the Sheikla head looks really good on it. As does the head from that awful Yelena figure that was also part of this wave. The unmasked head from the Jane Foster Thor also looks really good on it. I plan on using 3 of them with these heads as a sort of Weird Sisters trio from Gargoyles.
You really threw me for a loop with that #1 pick. Maybe the camera is playing a trick on me or I just need new glasses, but the new head looks the same or smaller in size to the previous mold.
I don't know what happened to the Marvel Legends figures, but they have fallen off badly and aren't worth collecting anymore, in my opinion. I was buying every figure they released a few years ago but I don't think I bought any in 2023, not at full price anyway. The character selection sucks, with way too many MCU figures from sub-par movies and shows, especially the amount of Disney + figures. I'm not interested in animated or cell-shaded stuff. And they are pushing all that X-Men '97 stuff before we've seen the show, and I am getting the feeling it will suck and no one will want the figures anyway. The price is too high and quality sucks, I can look at them and tell the plastic is flimsy before I even pick them up. They often don't come with enough accessories anymore. There are more and more sets without BAFs, and some of the BAFs we got this year were too small or mostly reused like Cosmo and Ch'od. They often aren't worth $25, I think that Tarantula figure should have been $15 for what they gave us.
Shame to hear about the infinity saga spidey, i really wanted it as one of the few pieces of evidence of that old suit design before the final one used in the movje
Basically the entire 2023 was a crap year for ML. Seems like HASBRO Marvel brand team never fully recovered from the failure of EOV and thereafter putting out mediocre figures waves after waves, that explains why so many retail stores are clogged up with them and end in up at clearances.
My guess is Random was small to be cost effective. He is part of a boxed set so they could get away with it. They will probably make a larger figure later.
Legit surprised i'm not seeing that Luke Cage on more Worst-Of lists this year. No ab crunch, no boot swivel, skin color is different between head and torso. Off-center headpiece. Gap under the armpits. Most disappointing ML of 2023 by far.
Agatha and Fury from D+ wave should get honorable mentions, due to traffic coning. The Hydra Stomper is cool, tho, so I waited to finish my second one..and now it seems it lost the Fury leg? 🤦♂️ I put the Baby Steve head on that Retrocard “Winter Miles” you showed, and it fits. So he’s Team Spidey, now. 😂 Oh, and Future Ant, I had a choice one day between him and Crossfire, and thought I had seen more than a few Cross. Nope, Future disappeared from multiple stores, have not seen him since, and my spare Stature I planned to custom Giant Hope with is now Giant Hop. 🤦♂️ There were SO MANY I didn’t get this year, mostly due to Walmart not carrying them AND Target only carrying “select” figures, not whole waves. 🤬🤬🤬 Most notably, I still don’t have the Ch’od complete, never saw Fang in person. And most exclusives, esp Pulse/online, are dead to me. 🤬🖕
I'd say this year has been a decent year for Legends, but yeah, a bit disappointing. For me the most disappointing figure is still the Super Adaptoid. That thing could have been an absolute knock out but they reused a 12 inch Captain America mold and didn’t even bother to give him wings or additional hands. Kingpin should have been on a new and bigger mold. I love the figure but it definitely feels more like a custom than an official figure. That Ultron was completely unnecessary. I'm all for re releasing figures for new collectors but you can still get the Ursa Major Ultron for a decent price. I have a feeling that movie Kang and He Who Remains figure is gonna go up in price though when Hasbro inevitability discontinues them.

I completely agree with the Infinity Saga Spider-Man. He sucks, the carnage I do agree has missing black. And a lot of black is missing. I do believe u can customise it but u shouldn’t have to seeing as the two pack is a bit expensive.
Despite not being perfect i still enjoy the Rose and Tarantula figures. I will admit I bought them because I doubt they'll get new figures for a long time.
I like to watch dissappointments of orhers I wouldn't agree with: Gambit since well as I said that is my first experience with this character. And I actually really liked it to consider him on my top favorite figures of 2023. I like the colors the most than everysingle one made by hasbro. Shame he is not that poseable and doesn't have other hand to grab the stick tightly, I really did not mind the rose I like everything in this figure. This spidey is a great addition to civil war display. It's not the best one cause there is no painted webs and no wall crawlers. But it's not the worst like the black and red one from far from home which looks like a toy because of the cheap plastic, black and gold from NWH and iron spider. Aunt May I can kinda agree but she is not that important character to me and she looks acceptable. I don't have a Kang but he looks cool still. and Random is for me fine but I can understand you don't like this design. First coming to some Dishonorable mentions: Chasm looks really fine but man no clawed hands, or thwips, wall crawlers, man and again visible pins. Secret Avengers Steve Rogers looks fine mostly but I only wasn't convinced into the head. But I'm willing to buy him and give him a chance. So maybe he shouldn't be mentioned. King daredevil..... Looks almost good but I wish he could have hood, and some changeable fists with those sharp knuckles. Spider Gwen is really neat but man no full sets of hands is so frustrating and I kinda don't like the angry eyes on masked head. Across the spider verse Miles Morales with no wall crawling hands, weird choice of painting and the bodymold when you move it.....the figure looks really off especially his back. Spider woman/ skrull queen another reuse, I know the head of skrull is new but no double jointed elbows and outdated bodymold, even no new head for spiderwoman Now coming to my actual top worst ones: 10. Across the spider verse Spider-Man 2099.......I want to give this figure a chance to like it but...... I don't know I had a feeling he looks like cheap plastic toy because of paint. The clawed hands looks weak and when you pose him he looks kinda off? Still trying to like this figure. 9. VHS Symbiote spider-man. RyV bodymold is always good, but IMO lack of the blue paint just hurts me. Customs look far better, how Dwight could said this is his favorite shading on figure when you have Retro VENOM with perfect amount of paint it looks like shading. WHAT THE HELL? 8. Peter B Parker in tracksuit? On the back of the card I was really hoping to get him in full suit. But in tracksuits? Maan that was dissappointing. 7. Tarantula, is a villain I would really like on my spidey rogues gallery display even more than rose. But with bad things as you said: Blue bandana really? No claw hands or opened ones, not pinless which looks disgusting since they didn't even bother to paint them red. Headsculpt is not bad actually IMO but he could have mad face. 6. Six arm spider-man. Even tho as you said I don't have these.... I still know this is a LAZY reuse with just a moving torso? Colors still look like cheap plastic toy, red joints visible on the blue, he is still too short, and old amazing spider man head? Doesn't fit at all. 5. Morbius the same thing as spidey is a reuse with nothing new. This is just sad. Man how long do we have to wait for the new one? 4. Retro Kraven. I wouldn't mind a Animated Series Kraven since this costume is iconic. And he was almost acceptable but just a spear, no fists, not even a knife, and the head which is a reuse of previous one and doesn't look like the one from TAS at all. 3. Magneto I really wanted finally a good classic magneto but he is too short, no purple gloves, and no effects. They need totally different approach to this figure. 2. Disney+ Kingpin is TOO small and this just hurts my eyes, I'm just speechless. 1. Carnage is my the most disappointing one since I really wanted CLASSIC Mark Bagley one and he was almost perfect but lack of black painting is even offensive. I was really pissed. The same situation as with retro Green goblin and Retro hobgoblin. Ugh.....

Yeah this year for Marvel Legends was terrible. The only ones this year that I really liked were the Been Riley Spider-Man with the large pearlescent eyes, The Blob, 97 Bishop, Wolverine, and Gambit, Extremis Iron Man, NWH Green Goblin and all the NWH Spider-Men, and my TOP Marvel Legend this year, Black Widow. I think the Legends team is relying way to much on the older classic designs, which in my opinion are really bland and uninteresting (Classic Drax and Moondragon look good though). You can tell some of the sculptors add extra textures to make the designs really come to life, but others just have bad paint schemes and no extra tertiary details.
I gotta hand it to you Russ. I like seeing your lists because it helps vindicate me in my own choices. What I get and what I don't get. I'm happy to say I did not purchase any of the ones that made this list, but I did purchase a few on your Best of 23 list. Basically the ones that made sense for what I am shooting for.
Worst figures for me are the Indiana Jones Helena Shaw, Jurgen Voller and Renaldo from Dial of Destiny. Not only were they figures from a medicore film..they were almost made essential if you wanted to finish the builf an artifact temple of doom shrine and the grail table. Even the Old Indy was mediocre. Hw didnt even have a gun and his pants were too dark.
Yeah, that MCU Kang was very upsetting when I got him. Way way too small. For them to put out the cost for what seems like an entirely unique sculpt, they should have made him larger. He's slightly smaller than the Ant-Man figure and that's just ridiculous. As for Random, I've seen other people commenting that he's too small, too. That's actually the only comments I've seen about him. Which is interesting to me as he's done on one of the larger bucks - mostly just a re-use of Thunder Strike. And I'm not familiar with a huge version of the character. From what I remember of him from the 90s, that's about the size of him. I mean, his chest and shoulders could stand to be a bit thicker and broader (though, not Strong Guy size). But height-wise I don't remember him being exceptional. The Omega Red or Cypher buck may have been a better choice to use (though I'm just guessing as I don't have those figures - both too small for those characters). Edit - Actually, after some more thought, the torso from the Mcfarlane Lobo would prob make a good Random - just not as tall as that figure. Maybe an inch shorter in the legs.
G.I. Joe Classified is my main line, and have been trying to cut down on Marvel Legends so my list is shorter of even who I bought. Tarantula is my top worst figure of the year. I had a story book with him fighting Spidey when I was a kid so I was so excited to get him when I saw he went up for preorder, but he was an absolute turd. No extra hands, no alternate heads, nothing. Same body mold we’ve seen a hundred times, so the cost went into a new head and feet. Absolute garbage. The Rose is the only other ML I had to modify. That dang suit coat was straight 1990 and too long. I trimmed it and smoothed the hem to look a lot better. That made him awesome in my mind, but definitely in no ways top tier.
i absolutely love the ultron!! hes my first ultron and i utterly love the headscultp, same with the tas carnage yeah its not accurate at all but its my first carnage and i really really like that body mold for carange as well i also really didnt like the miles fig at first but the ps5 games version of that costume really turned my opinion on it around still a good top ten shart!

I'm like... Genuinely disappointed in the Kid Omega figure cuz like... I LOVE Quentin??? Like so much???? And they went with the SHITTIEST costume, just because it was cheap and easy... I'm so disappointed... I have like 3 other custom Quentins, but like... Fuck me man... That's so bad.
I guess it just comes down to personal preference, but I’m not too unhappy with the scale of Wilson Fisk. He’s significantly taller than the “No Way Home” Matt Murdock, so that’s what I mostly care about. He’s also much taller than the Tom Holland final swing figure. I hope it will scale well with the inevitable red and golden daredevil figure that I know we’ll be getting in the next Disney plus wave. Hasbro would be insane not to make a pinless live action daredevil, which they could basically just repaint when the Born Again show comes out. I have no problem getting repaints if the mechanics of the figure are up to date, and if it makes sense. Charlie Cox’ daredevil is a favorite of mine, so I really hope they do him justice in his suited figures. I’m expecting Moonknight levels of detail
Actually Random is a kid .. by kid he’s probably a teenager he’s a mutant version of Rage you know that avengers who turn out to be an actual kid but goy super human strength and looks like an adult. So yea I think his figure is kind of accurate
Just about every comment you've made about Tarantula is completely wrong. Don't think so, go check out his first appearance in Peter Parker Spectacular Spider-Man issue one. If anything there should have been some blue on his boots and gloves. Sorry, but the mask WAS originally blue. And Ultron has had a lot, and I mean a LOT of different looking bodies, plus it's a robot. So the scale isn't really an issue at all. The marbling sucks though, admittedly.
extremis iron man was kinda disappointing for me, wish he can move better than he does and the eyes being yellow is super distracting and the 10th anniversary miles 100% sucks and im sad because its one of my favorite suits for the character and it can barely move and its not pinkish red like it SHOULD be 👎🏻
It's odd that they are willing to give Beast a fabric lab coat but they refuse to give Gambit a fabric coat too.
I'd like just a jacket less Gambit so I can put my 3rd party custom wired coat on him.
I think it’s because if they made a softgoods cape/coat for a regular figure then they would feel pressure from us fans to keep on giving it to us.

I am most disappointed with Luke Cage. The arm sleeve holes are too big, and it limits what you can do with it.

I definitely get the complaint about Kingpin being too small, personally I don't mind it, I think the head sculpt looks incredible and I'm happy to have him stood with the MCU Spider-Man villains and he looks great there, but I completely get why some would have a problem with it. Same with that Magneto, I get the complaints but personally I don't mind it for what it is.
I don't have a top 10 worst Marvel Legends solely because I've majorly cut back on that line, so many just aren't worth the price for me anymore. I will say whilst it's a few years old I did get that Richard Rider Nova this year, major let down, felt like a figure that was released five or six years too late.
Kingpin being a bit too small is the only gripe I have with that figure. Otherwise, I think he's great. Like you said, the head sculpt looks incredible. That likeness to Vincent D'Onofrio is dead-on in my opinion. A family member bought him for me as a gift during a sale. He was going for about $11 or $12. At that price, I wouldn't really be able to complain...even though for me it was free.
@@SlasherIncorporated I pretty much 100% share that opinion. To me the size would bother me if he were a comic style giant, but I didn't even notice it until I heard people point it out, and even then it still doesn't bother me, I look at it and it's unmistakable who it is.

Lol oh man your poses with BTLD were awesome, solid list, I did take that gambit and mod it's arms to bare black and stuck on the toybiz coat, gave him a matte finish and using a marvel select card accessory and I personally love it now. I hated how the old jacket arms had all the wrinkles and the new coat part was totally smooth. But Gambit needs the pinless treatment on his classic costume next or we should riot lol.
That Aunt May figure is the ultimate version of the character only because her competition is that Aunt Busey nightmare from ToyBiz
My biggest let downs is Luke Cage and Blade, they need to redo those asap stop with the spideys, iron man, caps and wolverine and give us characters that need updates with the best molds for articulation and accessories

I passed on everything you passed on, and I only have two of the figures that made your top ten worst list (Gambit and Tarantula). I also passed on quite a few in your thumbnail. My taste must be getting better.
Maybe they should start calling this line “Marble Legends” in honor of their swirly plastic.
I noticed Agatha as one of your runner's up. True, it's a figure that I was really wanting until I saw how terrible they made it. But. It has a redeeming quality in that if you simply swap out that horrible Agatha head with almost any other female legends head, it's actually pretty good. The limited articulation due to the clothing isn't really a big deal if you're just looking for a witch/magic user figure. The arm and hand posing is still more than suitable for magical doings. And certain heads make it a really cool figure, IMO. For example, the Sheikla head looks really good on it. As does the head from that awful Yelena figure that was also part of this wave. The unmasked head from the Jane Foster Thor also looks really good on it. I plan on using 3 of them with these heads as a sort of Weird Sisters trio from Gargoyles.
You really threw me for a loop with that #1 pick. Maybe the camera is playing a trick on me or I just need new glasses, but the new head looks the same or smaller in size to the previous mold.
I don't know what happened to the Marvel Legends figures, but they have fallen off badly and aren't worth collecting anymore, in my opinion. I was buying every figure they released a few years ago but I don't think I bought any in 2023, not at full price anyway.
The character selection sucks, with way too many MCU figures from sub-par movies and shows, especially the amount of Disney + figures. I'm not interested in animated or cell-shaded stuff. And they are pushing all that X-Men '97 stuff before we've seen the show, and I am getting the feeling it will suck and no one will want the figures anyway.
The price is too high and quality sucks, I can look at them and tell the plastic is flimsy before I even pick them up. They often don't come with enough accessories anymore. There are more and more sets without BAFs, and some of the BAFs we got this year were too small or mostly reused like Cosmo and Ch'od. They often aren't worth $25, I think that Tarantula figure should have been $15 for what they gave us.
I think 2023 was the worst year of marvel legends since the dark days. I skipped on so many figures, didn’t complete a single BAF

Basically the entire 2023 was a crap year for ML. Seems like HASBRO Marvel brand team never fully recovered from the failure of EOV and thereafter putting out mediocre figures waves after waves, that explains why so many retail stores are clogged up with them and end in up at clearances.
Worst ML for 2023 in my books is Classic Luke Cage. Horrible articulation and its dumpster trash in my rankings.
That is bull because everyone has been wanting an updated classic Luke Cage from Hasbro.
My guess is Random was small to be cost effective. He is part of a boxed set so they could get away with it. They will probably make a larger figure later.
Legit surprised i'm not seeing that Luke Cage on more Worst-Of lists this year. No ab crunch, no boot swivel, skin color is different between head and torso. Off-center headpiece. Gap under the armpits. Most disappointing ML of 2023 by far.
Agatha and Fury from D+ wave should get honorable mentions, due to traffic coning.
The Hydra Stomper is cool, tho, so I waited to finish my second one..and now it seems it lost the Fury leg? 🤦♂️
I put the Baby Steve head on that Retrocard “Winter Miles” you showed, and it fits. So he’s Team Spidey, now. 😂
Oh, and Future Ant, I had a choice one day between him and Crossfire, and thought I had seen more than a few Cross. Nope, Future disappeared from multiple stores, have not seen him since, and my spare Stature I planned to custom Giant Hope with is now Giant Hop. 🤦♂️
There were SO MANY I didn’t get this year, mostly due to Walmart not carrying them AND Target only carrying “select” figures, not whole waves. 🤬🤬🤬
Most notably, I still don’t have the Ch’od complete, never saw Fang in person.
And most exclusives, esp Pulse/online, are dead to me. 🤬🖕

I'd say this year has been a decent year for Legends, but yeah, a bit disappointing. For me the most disappointing figure is still the Super Adaptoid. That thing could have been an absolute knock out but they reused a 12 inch Captain America mold and didn’t even bother to give him wings or additional hands. Kingpin should have been on a new and bigger mold. I love the figure but it definitely feels more like a custom than an official figure. That Ultron was completely unnecessary. I'm all for re releasing figures for new collectors but you can still get the Ursa Major Ultron for a decent price. I have a feeling that movie Kang and He Who Remains figure is gonna go up in price though when Hasbro inevitability discontinues them.

I completely agree with the Infinity Saga Spider-Man. He sucks, the carnage I do agree has missing black. And a lot of black is missing. I do believe u can customise it but u shouldn’t have to seeing as the two pack is a bit expensive.
Despite not being perfect i still enjoy the Rose and Tarantula figures. I will admit I bought them because I doubt they'll get new figures for a long time.

I like to watch dissappointments of orhers I wouldn't agree with: Gambit since well as I said that is my first experience with this character. And I actually really liked it to consider him on my top favorite figures of 2023. I like the colors the most than everysingle one made by hasbro. Shame he is not that poseable and doesn't have other hand to grab the stick tightly, I really did not mind the rose I like everything in this figure. This spidey is a great addition to civil war display. It's not the best one cause there is no painted webs and no wall crawlers. But it's not the worst like the black and red one from far from home which looks like a toy because of the cheap plastic, black and gold from NWH and iron spider. Aunt May I can kinda agree but she is not that important character to me and she looks acceptable. I don't have a Kang but he looks cool still. and Random is for me fine but I can understand you don't like this design.
First coming to some Dishonorable mentions:
Chasm looks really fine but man no clawed hands, or thwips, wall crawlers, man and again visible pins.
Secret Avengers Steve Rogers looks fine mostly but I only wasn't convinced into the head. But I'm willing to buy him and give him a chance. So maybe he shouldn't be mentioned.
King daredevil..... Looks almost good but I wish he could have hood, and some changeable fists with those sharp knuckles.
Spider Gwen is really neat but man no full sets of hands is so frustrating and I kinda don't like the angry eyes on masked head.
Across the spider verse Miles Morales with no wall crawling hands, weird choice of painting and the bodymold when you move it.....the figure looks really off especially his back.
Spider woman/ skrull queen another reuse, I know the head of skrull is new but no double jointed elbows and outdated bodymold, even no new head for spiderwoman
Now coming to my actual top worst ones:
10. Across the spider verse Spider-Man 2099.......I want to give this figure a chance to like it but...... I don't know I had a feeling he looks like cheap plastic toy because of paint. The clawed hands looks weak and when you pose him he looks kinda off? Still trying to like this figure.
9. VHS Symbiote spider-man. RyV bodymold is always good, but IMO lack of the blue paint just hurts me. Customs look far better, how Dwight could said this is his favorite shading on figure when you have Retro VENOM with perfect amount of paint it looks like shading. WHAT THE HELL?
8. Peter B Parker in tracksuit? On the back of the card I was really hoping to get him in full suit. But in tracksuits? Maan that was dissappointing.
7. Tarantula, is a villain I would really like on my spidey rogues gallery display even more than rose. But with bad things as you said: Blue bandana really? No claw hands or opened ones, not pinless which looks disgusting since they didn't even bother to paint them red. Headsculpt is not bad actually IMO but he could have mad face.
6. Six arm spider-man. Even tho as you said I don't have these.... I still know this is a LAZY reuse with just a moving torso? Colors still look like cheap plastic toy, red joints visible on the blue, he is still too short, and old amazing spider man head? Doesn't fit at all.
5. Morbius the same thing as spidey is a reuse with nothing new. This is just sad. Man how long do we have to wait for the new one?
4. Retro Kraven. I wouldn't mind a Animated Series Kraven since this costume is iconic. And he was almost acceptable but just a spear, no fists, not even a knife, and the head which is a reuse of previous one and doesn't look like the one from TAS at all.
3. Magneto I really wanted finally a good classic magneto but he is too short, no purple gloves, and no effects. They need totally different approach to this figure.
2. Disney+ Kingpin is TOO small and this just hurts my eyes, I'm just speechless.
1. Carnage is my the most disappointing one since I really wanted CLASSIC Mark Bagley one and he was almost perfect but lack of black painting is even offensive. I was really pissed. The same situation as with retro Green goblin and Retro hobgoblin. Ugh.....

Tarantula: don't mind repainting the head.
Ultron: like the new head. Don't mind repainting it. I actually enjoy it.

2023 Marvel Legends gave us some highs and lows. That's for certain.
I want to get Rose to use as a base for a custom in a line in a different scale.

Yeah this year for Marvel Legends was terrible. The only ones this year that I really liked were the Been Riley Spider-Man with the large pearlescent eyes, The Blob, 97 Bishop, Wolverine, and Gambit, Extremis Iron Man, NWH Green Goblin and all the NWH Spider-Men, and my TOP Marvel Legend this year, Black Widow. I think the Legends team is relying way to much on the older classic designs, which in my opinion are really bland and uninteresting (Classic Drax and Moondragon look good though). You can tell some of the sculptors add extra textures to make the designs really come to life, but others just have bad paint schemes and no extra tertiary details.

I gotta hand it to you Russ. I like seeing your lists because it helps vindicate me in my own choices. What I get and what I don't get. I'm happy to say I did not purchase any of the ones that made this list, but I did purchase a few on your Best of 23 list. Basically the ones that made sense for what I am shooting for.

Worst figures for me are the Indiana Jones Helena Shaw, Jurgen Voller and Renaldo from Dial of Destiny.
Not only were they figures from a medicore film..they were almost made essential if you wanted to finish the builf an artifact temple of doom shrine and the grail table. Even the Old Indy was mediocre. Hw didnt even have a gun and his pants were too dark.
Yeah, that MCU Kang was very upsetting when I got him. Way way too small. For them to put out the cost for what seems like an entirely unique sculpt, they should have made him larger. He's slightly smaller than the Ant-Man figure and that's just ridiculous. As for Random, I've seen other people commenting that he's too small, too. That's actually the only comments I've seen about him. Which is interesting to me as he's done on one of the larger bucks - mostly just a re-use of Thunder Strike. And I'm not familiar with a huge version of the character. From what I remember of him from the 90s, that's about the size of him. I mean, his chest and shoulders could stand to be a bit thicker and broader (though, not Strong Guy size). But height-wise I don't remember him being exceptional. The Omega Red or Cypher buck may have been a better choice to use (though I'm just guessing as I don't have those figures - both too small for those characters). Edit - Actually, after some more thought, the torso from the Mcfarlane Lobo would prob make a good Random - just not as tall as that figure. Maybe an inch shorter in the legs.

G.I. Joe Classified is my main line, and have been trying to cut down on Marvel Legends so my list is shorter of even who I bought.
Tarantula is my top worst figure of the year.
I had a story book with him fighting Spidey when I was a kid so I was so excited to get him when I saw he went up for preorder, but he was an absolute turd.
No extra hands, no alternate heads, nothing. Same body mold we’ve seen a hundred times, so the cost went into a new head and feet.
Absolute garbage.
The Rose is the only other ML I had to modify. That dang suit coat was straight 1990 and too long. I trimmed it and smoothed the hem to look a lot better. That made him awesome in my mind, but definitely in no ways top tier.

I'm like... Genuinely disappointed in the Kid Omega figure cuz like... I LOVE Quentin??? Like so much???? And they went with the SHITTIEST costume, just because it was cheap and easy... I'm so disappointed... I have like 3 other custom Quentins, but like... Fuck me man... That's so bad.
I guess it just comes down to personal preference, but I’m not too unhappy with the scale of Wilson Fisk. He’s significantly taller than the “No Way Home” Matt Murdock, so that’s what I mostly care about. He’s also much taller than the Tom Holland final swing figure. I hope it will scale well with the inevitable red and golden daredevil figure that I know we’ll be getting in the next Disney plus wave. Hasbro would be insane not to make a pinless live action daredevil, which they could basically just repaint when the Born Again show comes out. I have no problem getting repaints if the mechanics of the figure are up to date, and if it makes sense. Charlie Cox’ daredevil is a favorite of mine, so I really hope they do him justice in his suited figures. I’m expecting Moonknight levels of detail
Actually Random is a kid .. by kid he’s probably a teenager he’s a mutant version of Rage you know that avengers who turn out to be an actual kid but goy super human strength and looks like an adult. So yea I think his figure is kind of accurate

Just about every comment you've made about Tarantula is completely wrong. Don't think so, go check out his first appearance in Peter Parker Spectacular Spider-Man issue one. If anything there should have been some blue on his boots and gloves. Sorry, but the mask WAS originally blue. And Ultron has had a lot, and I mean a LOT of different looking bodies, plus it's a robot. So the scale isn't really an issue at all. The marbling sucks though, admittedly.
extremis iron man was kinda disappointing for me, wish he can move better than he does and the eyes being yellow is super distracting
and the 10th anniversary miles 100% sucks and im sad because its one of my favorite suits for the character and it can barely move and its not pinkish red like it SHOULD be 👎🏻
