Hey Anthony, I did a Coolant flush on my V6 a few months ago for the first time. I drained from all 3 drain plugs, but only got in about 6L of Coolant, far below the quoted 8. Also, make sure the radiator cap spring mechanism work. Mine was broken so air could not get out. Occasionally, air would escape and spray coolant all over the engine. Replaced the cap and have had no spray since
great video Anthony, i don't even own a v6 i have a n70 1kd but i still enjoy watching an learning, thanks for the videos an knowledge you share.... Merry Christmas
Toyota ended up deleting the passenger side block drain. My 08 1GR lux only has drivers side block drain. It takes 7.4L of coolant. Manual says 9 or so Litres but you have to factor in the heater core.
Hello Anthony, you said you have a few half open bottles of coolant. Could you use a bottle that was opened 2 years ago and sat in the shed in a cool dark spot. They say it can last in a motor ten years.

Only buy genuine Toyota radiator caps and change them every 100,000 k's. The end of the cap breaks off & the car will overheat.
