Do an S series with the 15 or do the iPhone 13 as a comparison because its around the same price and the "average" consumer would look into an older phone, like many people I know

From just watcng the vid he is clearly a Iphone sheep he is clearly biased towards iphones.
Samsung phones are very important outside the US and have advantage in that sense. Pixel phones are not supported in most countries and software features like Google VPN are blocked. iPhones are more expensive outside the US and the price gap is even bigger. Basic iPhone costs almost a thousand dollars. But Samsung phones cost similarly around the world. Hence midrange Samsung phones are very important outside the US because they are basically the only option to get an affordable phone with premium feel and safety considerations in terms of software.
You're better off with Xiaomi, OnePlus, etc. outside rather than garbage Samsung midrangers like A35 which perform worse than 4 year old phones.

@@yahyahasan1554 Nope, been there done that. Stay as far as away as possible from any Chinese smartphone brands, they're not reliable at all. After just one year, my old Redmi Note 9s started lagging and crashing. Samsung is the only viable option if you want an Android device in any country that Pixel phones aren't supported in.

@@yahyahasan1554 been using a Xiaomi phone for the past 6 years. MiUI is a mess. Delayed notifications, small ads even when you turn off the personalization, some Xiaomi apps download on its own despite deleting it multiple times.
I would opt for Samsung a55 even if it means the phone is underperforming on Games than Chinese phones
an iPhone 15 in Canada is $1000 CAD and the A55 5G is under $500 CAD. Save urself 500 bucks and buy the Samsung
2:11 mind you, apples over a thousand dollar phone only gives you Face ID to unlock your phone while one of Samsungs more budget phones gives you MULTIPLE ways to unlock your phone. THAT is why I love Samsung lol. They have a phone for every income level and won’t compromise features just because you are buying a budget phone.
To be fair, Face ID is the most secure face unlock feature compared to other phones. And unless u have the flagship smartphones which have ultrasonic fingerprint sensors, then those “multiple ways to unlock ur phone” is less secure lol

Because it goes against the grain. Why would anyone compare the Exynos 1480 to the A16? Because they want to see the Apple win easily. Anomalies don't help that outcome.
I don't mind a 3 second delay, especially if i am saving over $200.
A55 is decent for every day use
That's not even 3 second, just 0.5 second difference in some apps and 1 second faster than iPhone in many apps
The fact that this comparison is in any way close just goes to show how far Iphone has fallen behind Samsung. A flagship phone needs to be miles ahead of a midrange phone to justify its price... especially for Iphones since they are more expensive than pretty much any other flagship phone out there.
You have no idea how cumbersome and garbage Samsung is when used actively and intensively. Even the most advanced model lags

Let's assume for a moment that the everyday user plays games every now and then, mostly surfs and uses a few streaming services, along with YT, Tiktok, Insta, etc.
He also wants to take a few snapshots and make a few holiday videos.
And this everyday user wants to see everything on a beautiful, colorful large display, then closes his apps again and doesn't want to have to spend extra money unnecessarily.
Does anyone here really believe that this everyday user will actually buy an iPhone 15 for twice the price???

In Norway the A55 is like 5000 NOK for 256 Storage and 4500 for 128, while the 128 storage iPhone 15 costs around twice the amount, at around 8000-9000 depending on where you buy it from. Even if the A55 is just a tad bit slower, it costs around half the amount of the iPhone. So I would take the A55 any day over the iPhone just because how much I save
For it's price, it's a win for A55. If a tens of a second difference really matter to you, then go ahead get the more expensive phone.
Yes it sure is, big screen, versatile triple camera, enough performance for daily use, but in reality the iPhone 15 is more consistent as is other more premium phones, but casual users wouldn't really care, only tech enthusiasts and people who are heavy users and pay attention

Ever since I got to use a flagship phone from both samsung and apple, I’m never going back on midrange. Tho they are a great value for your budget, flagships still run consistent and snappy even after a couple of years, and efficient wise, they are better on the long run

My guy, the iPhone 15 costs $1000 while the A55 costs $400 (right now, its release price was a little insane), the $600 difference is worth it for that 2 second difference
I made the mistake buying a S20. For my wife and daughter I got the A55. The A55 is superior is every way, camera's, speed, battery life, all way better. Except for the rather large format as I like to have a smaller phone. Apple OS and pricing are not an option :)
I have the pixel 8 it runs fantastically especially cause i only use it for RUclips and social media plus yt music and taking pictures and video's of my family, that's all i need it for.

The Samsung A series are the uppermid range devices
the Samsung A series is variable. The A05 is the absolute lowest phone, and the A55 the highest. Both are definitely not comparable.

iPhone 15 is a high end flagship phone of apple while Samsung A55 is a normal phone of Samsung, if you juxtaposes it's like you are comparing the Samsung S24 with an iPhone SE, thereby the comparison is not effective, for better comparing you should probably review iPhone 15 and Samsung S24

Guys, don't take this speed test seriously. im pretty sure these tests are partially accurate, and both devices are awesome at Performance aside from a few differences because remember they are 2 different platforms (Android, ios).

He says hes not being biased, but clearly numerous times you hear him just push the I phone. This guy really shouldn't be reviewing things. I guarantee he's got an iPhone. In my opinion the reloading of apps saying it's choppy, I can say honestly I couldn't see it and if I could it really wouldn't bother. How messed up in the head have you got to be if that bothers you. I am myself biased as I really couldn't go with iPhone. It's just an over priced phone just for the kids as a status object. Bring back the 80s where mobile phones did not exist.
“You can see that was the iPhone”, ignores the fact that the iPhone is only showing placeholders and hasn't actually loaded any info, yet the Samsung is already displaying all the information as soon as it is able to. Also, when it comes to this things where you are arguing over milliseconds, it is just annoying. It's all about performance for money. There it is a clear winner when a phone can deliver similar performance for less than half the price.

The truth is that I do not like Apple and its phones at all. There is nothing special about them other than the processor with a screen made by Samsung. What is special about the iPhone? Samsung is better in terms of features, especially powerful devices in this category. S
Talking about biometrics: Apple needs the entire bigfoot dynamic island to make their 3d face unlock work, while not having an alternative. Its funny how they hold on to that system ("think different") when it would make much more sense to make the dynamic island smaller (or completly disappear), and including a fingerprint sensor inside the power button or an ultrasonic under display sensor
In your video the iphone at 60 fps looks smoother than the Samsung at 120 fps.
Also i tested the Samsung in a store and it's laggy. It feels like the phone lacks power to run well.

now lets make the test after a year of daily usage :)
i've been using android (mostly samsung) for 10 years and i'm currently using an s21 fe which is basically a "A" phone dressed up as an "S" so people can fall for getting a "flagship". after one year to this date the phone can't hold more than 2 apps in the background and everything is lagging, literally any interaction is delayed by 1 second and all animations are on 10 fps. i've tried resetting the phone, debloating it but nothing works. my friend is using an iphone 11 since the release of an iphone 12 and it works better after 4 years of NO MAINTENANCE at all. the only that needs a change is the battery.
Thank you, someone who said it. These phones are nice in the beginning then suffer from the gradual decline that midrangers always suffer from. My son had the A54, I was impressed with it at first then after about half a year he started coming to me about his phone being really slow. After a year we had enough and switched to an iPhone 13 that we got for free in a carrier deal. What a breath of fresh air.

The iPhone 15 has a dedicated module for face unlock whereas the A55 uses its native camera to scan and process the info. So not quite fair on that segment
Keep in mind, you can buy more then 3 A55's with the price of 1 iphone15

Soviel besser ist das IPHONE in vielen Dingen nicht, dafür aber in seinem gewaltigen Preis. Der ist Rekordverdächtig. Klare Empfehlung zum Samsung A55.
