my dad got me this phone, it's my first samsung phone ever and i was very impressed! been using it for less than a week and as a student who uses their phone primarily for everything, i'd say it's pretty good and hasn't heated up (yet😭). the design is very premium, everyone who sees it say it's so similar to an iphone but i'd say it's actually better 💀 the customization is so good and apart from it, i never thought i'd like the samsung ecosystem but with the fit 3 as a freebie gift, i'd say everything being interconnected is a good daily addition. i am pretty much in love with this phone, curious to see how it holds up in a couple of years though, since i wouldn't be upgrading for a while.
@j-. so far, it doesn't. at this point, i've had it for a month. The only time it heats up is when I'm playing heavy games like Call of Duty, the battery holds up pretty well too. I leave it at 80% every day, and it gets me through 10 hours at school.

Korea makes quality long lasting items.. wish you good service from your device.. kind regards

A55 does have 120hr refresh rate as well. People will buy this phone for its design, battery life and for those who use it for day to day actvities without much gaming. This phone should work fine easily for 3-4yrs as os upgrade is also promised for 4yrs with overall sec patch for 5yrs. Overall a great phone around $400.

Shame they're not releasing this in the US. I liked the A54 (mostly because of the micro SD card slot).... it had issues playing Rocket League Sideswipe (which I play a lot)... and had no DeX or USB-C video out, but otherwise, it was a good phone. I'm debating buying the A55 to import it... I'll have to check frequencies for the TMobile US market to see if they're all covered.
Did you test it with a SIM card? I ask because I would like to know if the phone has the "notification light". My A73 5G does not have it and it's a more expensive phone. The notification light is a must on ALL phones.
This phone is similar to an s21 in terms of performance and premium construction, I bought it a week ago and I gave it somewhere for 250 euros, I can say that for this money it has no competition
It isn't as powerful as an s21 lol. Performance is more comparable to an S20 very close in gpu scores and cpu overall. Which is great because the snapdragon 865 is still a beast. But exynos 1480 is more power efficient.
While using this phone for weeks, i just experienced some bugs. I'm thinking that the bug might be on software, but the phone is great. samsung really have nice number of updates because for a short time i did receive like 4 updates already

A little too late but s23 is a great choice if it's still available for a good price in your region even if it won't be supported for a long time. You can also wait for s24 fe eventual price drop
I'm thinking about getting the A55. Always had an S class and now the S20 for 2 years. But I need a smartphone with a (slightly) larger display and the performance shouldn't be less than that of the s20. For cost reasons, I'm thinking about moving away from the S Class and I'm wondering (if it's all about performance) whether the A55 can keep up with the S20 or if annoying micro stutters arise after a while. As someone who's currently using an A55, I can promise you that there are 0 micro stutters. Actually, I use this phone with 60 hertz refresh rate, & I still see no stutter. Absolutely more than enough for me as a 34 year old. Excellent camera during daytime, not bad during low light (actually, as someone who's used the S23 Ultra, I can't see the massive difference in camera, except, of course, the zoom), fast processor, & killer look. I can guarantee that it can do at least 95% of what the S24 Ultra can do, for a much more competitive price.

4:11 WarzoneM is poorly optimized. Even some flagships like S23U and 15 Pro Max still experiencing crashes, overheating and graphical issues. W mediatek processor in the same class won't make the experience any better if the game itself has optimization issues

The iPhone 14 Pro Max has bezzles round the screen also but you don’t actually notice it so I doubt ull notice it on the a55

Exynos works great for me. Don't be cheap and get internet/wifi. Libraries won't provide us with 5g band
