    • @chenluanzhang
      @chenluanzhang 3 месяца назад

      That definitely does not look like flagship build inside, the chip and capacitor density is way less and the cameras are much tinier. Plus the motherboard isn’t even a dual stack or triple stack layer. Also, the ungodly amount of plastic midframe in this phone, the nfc antenna is even baked into plastic.

    • @devanandshaji

      @@chenluanzhang of course because its a midranger. Look at the cables, its uses flex cables. Except Xiaomi 14 ultra literally every chinese flagships use coaxial cables. Which is 👎🏼 for flagships.

    We always see in your videos, You removed the thermal paste/some time heat sink as well.But We know that if we remove the phone's thermal paste or heat transfer paper, there will be a bad impact (Performance drop/overheating etc.) when we use the phone later. My question is what do you actually do with those phones?

    • @PBKreviews

      I reapply the thermal paste. As for the graphite film, as long as its not damaged beyond the point of it being effective, its still usable.

    Hi! If you open the cellphone ( A55 is IP67 ) and humid air replaces the old air that was from the factory which I presumed that factory air humidity is controlled to be just enough to be not that humid, does it make the phone fog up its lens in really cold temperature after the repair? Or maybe the repair area is air conditioned and the room air is not humid like in the factory? Do the cellphone factory allow only some percent of humidity when assembling the phone specially the IP67 and IP68 rated phones. I had a Asus phone before that wasn't even IP rated that fog up the lens when I was in a cold place. I'm just curious.

    I think we need a bit explanation about how you score it like what part would be challenging to repair, which part will most likely be damaged first, is it overall a good build, is it generally similar to other phones or even the previous series, that would be interesting to hear from you
    I love the video!

    • @PBKreviews
      @PBKreviews  7 месяцев назад

      Thanks! I provide the chart towards the end of the video before re-assembling to break it down. Higher score= easier and more repairable. If a section scores low it either means its hard to access and more difficult to replace those parts which fall in that area, or parts are harder to find etc. If I can, I will be more thorough.

      It's nothing, if you look at the other side of the board its hollow open, its where the earpiece speaker lays or sits in.

    Both the Galaxy A55 5G and A35 5G come equipped with a 1.7 times larger vapor cooling chamber but i dont really see any of that, is it sandwich between the screen and the circuit board?

    • @PBKreviews
      @PBKreviews  7 месяцев назад

      what do you mean, its shown in the video once the battery is pried off. Yes a part of it runs underneath in between the screen and frame, and if you compare it to the A54, you will see its much larger.

    Only downside in A55 is the chipset use not a snapdragon 7gen 3. Exynos is s pieces of junk chipset.

    between the 50 fusion and the a55? I need a phone with a good camera and performance that will last me a few years

  • @bacsrm6897
    @bacsrm6897 7 месяцев назад

    Good to see it has huge vapor chamber and graphite sheet sandwiching the battery.
    Though looking at the frame, it looks like aluminum frame is fused by 3mm thick plastic. If only samsung trim it and make A55 a bit smaller instead.

    I'm a little bit confused; the device specs refer to as "virtual proximity sensor" but in the video it is clearly seen and as you mention that there is physical proximity sensor...

    • @PBKreviews
      @PBKreviews  6 месяцев назад +1

      I might have mistaken the ambient light sensor and said proximity sensor.

    why the glass backplate bends? is it plastic instead?

    • @PBKreviews
      @PBKreviews  7 месяцев назад +3

      no, same as glass screen protector. Its thin so has some flex.

    • @certaindeath7776
      @certaindeath7776 5 месяцев назад

      many do not know, but glass not solid, but amorphous solid. so it has attributes of liquids as well.
      f.e. window glasses over the year get thinner at the top and thicker at the bottom, because it flows. very very slow, but it does.
