Dude, I have a curious question :) We always see in your videos, You removed the thermal paste/some time heat sink as well. But We know that if we remove the phone's thermal paste or heat transfer paper, there will be a bad impact (Performance drop/overheating etc.) when we use the phone later. My question is what do you actually do with those phones?
Hi! If you open the cellphone ( A55 is IP67 ) and humid air replaces the old air that was from the factory which I presumed that factory air humidity is controlled to be just enough to be not that humid, does it make the phone fog up its lens in really cold temperature after the repair? Or maybe the repair area is air conditioned and the room air is not humid like in the factory? Do the cellphone factory allow only some percent of humidity when assembling the phone specially the IP67 and IP68 rated phones. I had a Asus phone before that wasn't even IP rated that fog up the lens when I was in a cold place. I'm just curious.
How much did opening it up really affect the water resistance after? I would do that if I get this phone just because I have both liquid metal and graphene I could stick in for better cooling. That'd be cool though, if it doesn't mess with the water resistance.
These are really good videos with great benchmarks, one more thing which i would love to see is a long duration video recording test in a room temperature of around 30 degrees celsius.
I have an A52 LTE and the connector also died (very common problem in the whole A52 line up), I was told that it was mainly due to the flimsy plastic back, so I hope it isn't an issue with the glass back
Yoo I like this kind of videos, most people reviewed the phone by spec but not on the inside (literally) I think we need a bit explanation about how you score it like what part would be challenging to repair, which part will most likely be damaged first, is it overall a good build, is it generally similar to other phones or even the previous series, that would be interesting to hear from you I love the video!
Thanks! I provide the chart towards the end of the video before re-assembling to break it down. Higher score= easier and more repairable. If a section scores low it either means its hard to access and more difficult to replace those parts which fall in that area, or parts are harder to find etc. If I can, I will be more thorough.
Thanks for the video. I had accidentally put the SIM tray pin in the two holes mentioned in the video and was worried shit about any damages done. Thanks again for clearing that doubt.
