Yes. People make fun of Boomers nowadays. I find comfort in the fact that they will grow old one day, too. And then, they will understand. But until then, I will have to try and be the best Boomer I can.

the fact that he could project himself from another freaking planet light years away from where he was shows that Luke Skywalker was indeed a true legend.
Everyone is entitled their own opinion. I prefer the version of Luke that we had from the Expanded Universe. These books were created and controlled by George Lucas / Lucasfilm and produced by a variety of great sci-fi authors. These were canon for over 20 years, filling in plot holes and creating a brilliant array of new characters and stories. These were swept away for the Sequel Trilogy. What Luke became was far more significant and powerful in the EU than what is now canon.
@@GeeksofMucklebee I mean i'm not so deep into the star wars lore. but i've read Lord of The Rings and Game of Thrones and i can relate to things being swept away in a series or a movie..
the last season of GoT was terrible in terms of story... so yeah, I agree with you totally

To each their own but I'll never understand why people act like this isn't Luke Skywalker. Legends Luke was never canon and for people who made that his actual character in their minds, that's their own fault. This video beautifully shows the parallels between all 3 trilogies and just how amazing Mark's performance as Luke in TLJ really is.
What i personally not understand is why he was trying to kill his nephew only because he sensed a bit of darkness in his nephew. Luke the one who have seen that even the darkest person has something good and can be turned to the lightside. thats a bit implausible.
@@Lasgoo Where did you get the "bit of darkness" from? Luke straight up says that Snoke had already turned his heart so it's not "a little bit" he was already committed to the dark side by then. "For the briefest moment of pure instinct I thought I could stop it" is what Luke says showing that for just the tiniest moment, he thought he could stop Ben before he realized what he was doing was actually wrong. Ben took it as Luke just straight up trying to murder him. It's as simple as that and so many people misinterpret this scene.
@@loth-wolf2595 Thats stupid. Even if Ben Solo was fully corupted by the dark side, it dosnt make sense why luke would want to kill his own nephew. He sneak in the cabin of Ben solo and try to kill him but after a second thought he thinks "hmm maybe thats not a good idea", that is so poorly writen. Luke cant be that stupide, he should have thought more. And after he disappointed everyone he goes in exile instead of try to make things right. I am not that big of a Luke fan but all of that doesn't seem logical. I personally don't like the Last Jedi. And that's just one of many things that aren't good in the Last jedi.
@@Lasgoo You're letting your nostalgia of the past movies cloud your judgement. People change. Luke saw the worst of the worst and he thought for the briefest moment that he could prevent it from happening again. Stop letting nostalgia blind you.
@@loth-wolf2595 As i already said i am not a Luke fan and neither am i an Original trilogy fanboy. i'm more a prequel guy, so no nostalgia that "Cloud my Judgment" at all.
