"We are what they grow beyond...that is the true burden of all masters."
That line gets me every time. Hell, all of it gets me. Yoda's story, Luke's story, Han, Leia and Obi-Wan...all so beautiful and tragic. We can't forget Ahsoka, Kanan, Rex and so many other as well...it's all what makes Star Wars such an incredible universe.
Thanks for watching this one! Looking forward to seeing what you react to next.
That's definitely true. Whatever writing Rian Johnson did, it's not a masterpiece, but the lines he did with the most beloved characters is definitely beyond than just a masterpiece.
Don't forget Anakin. He just wants to save the ones he cares about the most, but people don't trust him which pushes him into the hands of Palpatine. He is definitely my fav character in this universe, his story is amazing.
7Teen Temzz I totally agree
As much as I don't like the sequels, I can't deny that the scene with Yoda and Luke was such a powerful scene.
When Luke said "I will not leave you here I got to save you" and Anakin saying "you already... have" that got me good. Knowing that Anakin was finally free from Vader and being a slave his whole life and Luke saved him Evan thought he is the most hated man in star wars Luke saw conflict in him. by far Luke and Anakin are the best father and son duo in movies.
the music shift in the intro from happy go lucky to Anakins Dark Deeds was phenomenal
While watching this it showed even more parallels between Anakin and Luke that I never caught before. Love this video
I was more struck by the parallels between Yoda and Luke in this particular video. Both lost all of their Jedi. Both went into exile afterwords.
A master editor, HFP is.....
Correct, you are
Agree, i am
It's always a pleasure to watch your content, Katarn.
I said that in Desann's voice by the way.
I like the casting of obi wan in starwars. Alex Guinness and Ewan McGregor look quite alike.
It's no accident A LOT of work went into making Ewan look like Sir Alec Guiness in E3
The parallel between the greatest failures between Yoda's and Luke's, get me every damn time.
Excited perfectly with those fast cuts and the tension.
I think Luke went out like a boss in TLJ, and it breaks my heart the way people think his character was disrespected.
Whatever mistakes he made before, Luke died a true Jedi.
he was disrecpected
Same, so glad to see people agree! TLJ was WAY more like Luke than Legends depicted him yet all these people are too obsessed with the past to realize that the new stuff we're getting is INCREDIBLE.
@@robin12345665 No, he wasn't. TLJ gave Luke immense respect and helped to develop his character even further than Episode 6 did.
I respectfully disagree. If you read the Legends material, then Luke in that canon was MUCH more like him. It was only a natural progression for him to become the most powerful Jedi ever, wisdom beyond his years and a pure heart.
In the Sequel trilogy, he was relegated to a failure. Sure, it WOULD have been a good arc; but it’s execution was incredibly lackluster. HFP did AN AMAZING job by making it SEEM more compelling on why Luke did what he did, but it doesn’t change how the movie was poorly written.
Still, HFP is an amazing editor and he definitely showed his love for TLJ; despite MANY people’s distaste for it.
I highly recommend HFP’s tribute to Kanan Jarrus from Star Wars Rebels. It’s absolutely amazing 👍🏼
Hey Kyle, I think the best video from HFP is A Tirubute to Caleb Dume. Since he resembles so much one of your favorite characters and is such an amazing character himself, you should watch it and maybe upload it for us x)
May the Force be with you.
It’s on the list! Stay tuned :)
Loved all the vids I've watched of yours so far. Was a massive fan of the Rebels reactions, can't wait for your reaction vids of the next series they bring out. Keep up the great vids!
I knew you'd love this video!! Its my favorite as well from HFP. Keep up the great videos
"Using footage of Carrie Fisher is almost cheating." Sorry but that made me laugh too hard xD
Don't forget about HFP's tribute to Luke Skywalker, Kyle.
Also I think it's cool how important the symbolism of the horizon is to both Luke and Anakin
Then he rescues Grogu in the most emotional moment in the history of Star Wars
One of the biggest missed opportunities in The Last Jedi and something that pains me so much is that we don't really see Luke react to Han's death. There was a cut scene that was never implemented in the final movie, so I don't get why it was cut.
This is like my second favorite HFP, my favorite is Kenobi. Though that may be because Obi Wan, and Ferus Olin, are my favorite characters in Star Wars and I am biased.
You should react to dudufilm Tribute's to Star Wars. Those are fantastic.
I feel like that yoda speech in TLJ should've been made to luke years earlier
hey! I know this guy! in real life!
disney needs to make a yoda miniseries like mandalorian or a movie about yoda
So damn good
Solid HFP and good work, keep it up
Super funny I always felt The same way about Yoda house I had a tree house built like it as a kid
I love it very much!!! I hope all of u are going to be at galaxy's edge!!!!!
I hated the last Jedi because it was the end of the saga that we all loved. The one good thing that came from this movie is that it humanized Luke.
Can you react to "Skywalker - A Darth Vader Tribute"?
dead island trailer music... damn aint heard that in forever
"Because i was Luke Skywalker. Jedi Master"
"A legend."
@@sangokus6478 "Mghmm, Skywalker Still looking to the horizon, never here. The need infront of your nose."
@@holidaypunch6621 "I was weak, unwise..."
@@sangokus6478 "Lost ben solo you did, lose Rey you must not."
@@holidaypunch6621 "I can't be what she needs me to be."
How do you get that shirt?
How do you have the Ahsoka Clone Trooper shirt when the last season came out this year... or am I tripping???
Nvm Ahsoka on your shirt looks like those clone troopers
I also want to live in yoda’s hut
Pls pls react to tale from the 501st checkpoint pls pls
Have you watched Star Wars Theory's fan film: Vader, Shards of the Past? It's pretty good ☺ loved your thoughts on the Luke video.
This makes the Last Jedi slightly better, but it is still an F tier Star Wars film.
Y'know, this video: "The Greatest Teacher Failure is" just... in a way? Shows that the Force Awakens and the Last Jedi may have been, when it comes to plot, on the right track... perhaps, the fans of Star Wars were wrong? Then again, wouldn't it have been better if Luke was actually there? Because in Ivan Ortega's version, he may not have been, but he did not disappear in the end either. Rey may be a Mary Sue, but that's just that... a Mary Sue, little to no training, yet is more powerful than even Luke Skywalker, even against Kylo Ren, an Apprentice, that had training, and failed to stop a child with a lightsaber with no training... thus just shows how weak Kylo really is, and how boring and uninteresting the narrative "because women" is with Rey... even with all the plot holes in TFA and TLJ, there may've been some plots that, after this video? Were finally explained... its unfortunate however, that this story only comes out after a book releases, which surprise, surprise, shouldn't we have had this information in the movies anyway?
As much as I hate TLJ, I still got chills at 2:31
I've seen a livelier reaction from fossils.
And what a lesson Rian and Kathleen learned recently oh boy
The death of Luke stings because the character was handled in a really bad way. But this video is fantastic.
You've learned nothing from watching this.
Stephanie S I understand the concept just fine. It’s just that the vision was poorly executed.
Akira Toriyama The whole movie is flawed in so many ways. I get what he was trying to do with Luke, but he did it poorly. And it was pretty much the most obvious route to go, and with poor setup.
@Jean-Marie Le Pen Luke just gave Up on Kylo, but not on vader, kinda poorly executed
@Jean-Marie Le Pen But I do tho.
The irony that cheapens the inclusion of this line in TLJ is that Lucasfilm are refusing to even acknowledge their failure, and thus, won't learn from it.
Cole Jordan ugh nobody cares about Lucasfilm just enjoy the damn video nobody cares
You call it a failure, yet well all felt something from this video because of it. You Last Jedi haters are such a weird breed.
